Today I was reading a chapter for my social work class about resilience and
coping, and I came across this quote: researchers “found that
placing a problem in the hands of God or using prayer almost
exclusively as a way of resolving a stressful situation was not a
particularly effective way of coping and suggested an external
locus of control. The more active the coping approach, the better
subjects in their study were able to cope.”

I thought this was really interesting! I think this goes along with the notion of
passivity and losing your common sense; I think some people do not
try to solve their problems, but rather place them “in the hands of
God” without using common sense to try to make their situation
better. This kind of reminds me of Amy’s post about common sense,
and how in a break-in situation, prayer was used instead of calling
the police.

This also reminds me of what Jessie Penn-Lewis said in
War on the Saints about passivity being the chief basis of
possession, that passivity is “the primary cause of deception and
possession in surrendered believers.” It’s interesting that
research shows too that being passive about problems in your life
and handing them over to “God” isn’t very effective. I think with
certain things like salvation, it is completely up to God and we
can’t do anything to be saved. But I think also with everyday
problems, it’s silly to leave it to God without taking action for
yourself.

Charismatics think that going into passivity by doing
what they see as “giving it over to God” will be the answer, when
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE ENEMY WANTS!!! And instead of using the
common sense that God gave them to make sensible decisions, people
are sitting around waiting for some supernatural sign…a lot of
times the answer aint all that magical. It’s just pure, good
old-fashioned, common sense!

Yet another way Charismatics promote passivity is to teach you that
if you’re not doing the right stuff in the spirit realm, that no matter how
hard you try, you will just be walking in the wilderness like the Hebrews,
in addition to what you said about the trusting in God thing, since they’re
so big on “faith.” I remember at my old church – now a lot of the people
there were of low-income, and many of them had to work more than
one job (including me sometimes).

Since the pastor was so big on prosperity, he did a sermon
talking about people with two jobs, saying it wasn’t God’s way
for them to do that, if they were doing the right stuff like “sowing seed”
and all that, they wouldn’t have to work two jobs. Perhaps his real motive
had to do with the fact people were missing church because of working so much.
But, looking back, I can see how the people working two jobs if they had to were
doing the right thing, if that was what their situation called for.
But him preaching things like that would discourage people from
being proactive, because you can’t get motivated to push that hard
if, in the back of your mind, you feel like it won’t work and it
will all be for nothing.

The Bottomline is that People get involved in church and throw all common sense out of the window! Religious rules and traditions are the cause of it. You get so used to following rules and traditions, thinking you are following God, that you become conditioned to doing things out of habit, for no good reason, lacking good common sense! I used to wonder why we did some of the religious practices we did. I was just blindly doing things because I thought they were the right things to do…nevermind anything about being based on truth, being moved by the power of the cross…NOPE, it was nothing like that…I just wanted to go to heaven, so I gave the church/religion power to control my mind & let me THINK that obeying all those religious rules, and doing all those religious works was getting me into heaven. NOPE, It doesn’t work that way! You cannot earn your way into heaven. No amount of religious works will earn you a ticket. AND THAT’S THE TRUTH, RUTH!

True dat! Now here is the down to earth cold skinny on this subject. The powers of darkness would make man a machine, a tool, an automaton, the God of holiness and love desires to make him a free, intelligent sovereign being in his own sphere —a thinking
rational creature created after His own image (Ephesians 4.24)

Therefore God never says to any faculty of man ” Be thou Idle”
God asks for intelligent action in co-operation with
Him!!! (Roman 12:1-2) Satan demands passivity as a
conditon for his compulsory action and in order to unilaterally
subject men to his will and purpose.. (War on the Saints) God wants
us to be intelligent and to use common sense ..wow.. This is a big
change from the teachings in the IC, where you are
suppose to go along with the go along in order to get along..
I guess that is why I was kicked out because I
refused to be passive.

To overcome passivity, you need some books: War on the Saints, Faces of the Religious Demon, the Fake Jesus. The New Idolatry and Be Delivered From Deliverance Ministry. You can browse at http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/pam_s911

Why Doubt?

In the process of being set free, doubt is extremely important. This doubt has nothing to do with God, or the doubt of unbelief in Him. Once doubt of a certain experience comes into the mind of the freedom seeker, the victory lies in admitting to the possibility of personal deception. Sometimes the deception is exposed suddenly while other times the process is gradual and requires diligence and patience.

Once the acknowledgement of deception has occurred, the next step is to face the truth, own the truth, and be prepared to watch the father of lies walk away from you by the power of the weapon of truth. Jesus Christ is the truth. Once the freedom seeker fully accepts truth, he or she is worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth.

If you are walking this journey independently, there are books that can help you, located at http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/pam_s911

Are You Irrecoverable?

To be irrecoverable is to be in such a state, that no human being will be successful at setting you free.

When demons get their prey to take THEIR side and actually fight FOR them in order to keep THEIR hold, even after the person has found out his or her true condition, and honestly desires deliverance; one of the greatest hindrances being the effect of an assumed position concerning spiritual experiences, which believers are loft to examine and part with. —Jessie Penn-Lewis.

Are You Hearing From God or the Devil About Your Prince Charming? Part 1

Hearing From God about Your Prince Charming?

To know if you are hearing from God, the first thing you need to know is that you will hear more from the devil in audible voices than you will hear from God.  Certainly the Holy Spirit will at times speak in an audible voice. However, when He begins to teach you how to walk by faith, He will do so by not giving you “confirmation.” The”confirmation” thing is nothing but an assumption, not based on fact, not based on truth. When God sends a message, He does not have to confirm it. He may, or He may not. Here is an instance in my life where God supernaturally “showed and proved.”

I had recently divorced my last husband because his drug addiction became unbearable.  However, I still loved him very much so I was vulnerable to him  if he attempted to reconcile. I thought, “since he had not cheated on me since we were married, perhaps I should not have divorced him.”

One morning, I dreamt I saw a mudslide.  My husband jumped into it.  When he got up, a woman was hidden underneath him—in the mud.

As I lay there, considering the meaning of the dream, the phone rang.  It was my ex.  He wanted to reconcile.  I listened but I was quiet, remembering the dream I had just 5 minutes before the call.

I got up out of my bed, and walked into a room that had once been his den.  Laying in the middle of the floor, in a room that I had cleaned several times was an application for credit, made out by my ex.  What I noticed was that he used a different address and phone number on the application.  So I dialed the number. A woman answered.  I asked “Can I speak to Rich?”  She replied, “He is not here right now.  Who is this?”  I said “his wife..”

The woman went berserk.  She screamed “you are not his wife.  You have divorced him.  I have been his woman for the last 3 years.  So you need to go about your business and leave him alone because Rich is MINE!!!”

So when I try the spirits, this was rather supernatural, to say the least..  It all occurred within the space of 20 minutes. Something appeared on my floor that was not there for two months!!!!  I dreamed about the hidden woman, “under the mud” of my ex’s secret life 5 minutes before his call.

Was this the devil trying to get me to go over there and shoot somebody and end up in jail? For I also had her address.

Not THIS time! lol.

Both God and the devil know that I am too wise and too much in control of my emotions to fall for THAT one. The Lord simply provided me with the hidden information that I needed to stop punishing myself for divorcing an adulterer and for NOT TAKING HIM BACK!!!!  I had every right to divorce him.

There is a book that you NEED to have.  It is called “War on the Saints” by Jessie Penn-Lewis.  Jessie is a woman of God who died in 1915.  However, her knowledge of spiritual deception is unmatched in a century.

Here is a free download of “War on the Saints”. It is a kind of a book that you need at your finger tips so I recommend you obtain a softcopy, 9th edition, un-abridged.

http://www.divshare.com/download/16165074-699 War on the Saints.

My book “Faces of the Religious Demon is dedicated to Jessie Penn Lewis.” I would not have understood many things without “War on the Saints.” Also, there is much emphasis on how the enemy uses demonic soul ties to entrap and ensnare both men and women.

I OWE MY MINISTRY TO A WOMAN OF GOD, JESSIE PENN LEWIS.

demonic deception, endtime church, the Holy Ghost

My online  ministry has been birthed through vision. In 1990, I knew nothing about the Internet.  One night I  dreamt that I was flying with the Holy Ghost over the city.  Looking down I saw a 12 mile line of people, stretching down the highway from Albany to Selkirk. The Spirit said “Pam, do you see that line down there? You are going to minister to  every one of those people.”  “Where?” I asked.  He pointed to a little house and said “from there.” To the east.  Over the years, I wondered how I  could minister to  so many people in one lifetime in that little house.  It would have to take a lifetime and perhaps a large staff.  Only in recent years have I  understood the humor of the Holy Ghost.  Today, the Internet is called the Highway, and when we use “the Highway” we are “on line!” I now live in that little place in the east.  Shortly after I had begun to work with captives on line in December 2002, that the Holy Ghost spoke again.  I was working on the computer in 2003 when  I heard Him whisper, “Pam, look, you are now “on line” on the Super Internet Highway.

I have really been walking by faith, out here “on line.” Nine years ago, I really didn’t have a clue. Now I have a sense of what the mission is.  I am to prepare the remnant church for endtime events.  A part of that preparation is to train ministers that the Lord has called to the remnant harvest field. Every bit of work that I do also connects to unveiling the deception perpetrated by fallen angels and demons. Only second to preaching the gospel in His Great Commission, the Lord Jesus Christ  instructed His disciples to go forth and cast out demons in His Name by the power of the Holy Ghost. (Mark 16:17)  In the Lord’s day and time, this was a rather simple instruction.

During His ministry, Jesus did not have to teach, defend or explain the existence of the unseen world because the people   grasped the reality of demons without difficulty.  In fact,   both natural and   spiritual discernment of evil spirits was commonplace.  For example, when a  woman of Canaan came to Jesus on behalf of her daughter,  He did not have to convince or persuade her  that her daughter was demonized. This  Canaanite mother was certainly not ignorant as she cried out  to Jesus “my daughter is severely vexed with a devil.”  It is obvious from the scripture that she understood  what demonic oppression entailed. (Matthew 15:2)

Yet, almost two thousand years later, the ignorance of bible toting people of God concerning the powers of darkness has caused my books and my deliverance mentoring model   to be both vital and necessary. In truth,  Satan has been extremely successful over the centuries to not only keep the church in the dark about himself and his devices, but the religious demon  has actually been able to manipulate the organized church to even  promote Satan’s sinister agenda.

Almost one hundred years ago, Jessie Penn-Lewis, in collaboration with Evangelist Evan Roberts wrote a life-saving and life changing book entitled “War on the Saints.” As indicated in my dedication, this book has no competition or comparison.   Simply put, the pain of opening my blind eyes to how the religious demon had deceived me palled to the astounding  joy that truth brings.   “War on the Saints”  literally set me free, equipped me to serve. On October 25, 1911, I will have been in ministry for 30 years.  It was all a training ground for what is about to transpire very soon.

I hope my books do the same in this hour.  If my books help you, it was because of a woman who died in 1915 yet still lives today through her astounding, life changing books. Without Jessie, I would still be imprisoned in a denomination, pastoring cold, dull, lifeless pew warmers.
