THE ALTERED STATE IS A HYPNOTIC TRANCE

Among my faithful Facebook friends is a cadre of serious believers who
continually share YouTube video clips, blogtalkradio programs, and various
articles that dramatically portray how the enemy has infiltrated the Christian
community with a variety of occult, even blasphemous doctrines and practices.
To name but a few, the list is long: the Joel’s Army movement is at the top of
the list because it encompasses It ALL!!

Then there is  yoga, the kundalini spirit, TM, people running around the church  looking like they are literally on fire, alien encounters, astral travel, slain in the spirit, the laughter and dancing movements, (I refuse to call them ‘holy’), tongue prayer
languages,—the list seems almost endless. In fact, even  charismatic
sermonizing has caused people to become hysterical, breaking loose in church aisles, appearing to have lost their minds.

Yet, there are even stranger things going  on that are a lot less public.  As
an example, in my Christian telephone counseling practice of 10 years, I have
come in contact with Christians from around the world  who are
constantly “hearing voices” yet they are not mentally ill.  In 10 years, I have
been in contact with lots of churchgoers.  Among them are people who thought that they were saved, but after careful consideration, they ultimately admitted that they were not—yet—they  had spoken  in tongues and had often submitted themselves to falling slain in the spirit in various charismatic churches.

Ministers laid  hands on  many of them to receive what is colloquially known as “an impartation.” When they began to be tormented in one way or the other, most of them sought help from deliverance ministries, yet their condition worsened.  In fact, 75% of  my Christian client contacts  were hearing voices when they telephoned me for help—all of them were active and faithful church members. Some of them I could help, some of them, I could not, for one reason or another.

One thing that all of these strange happenings have in common is the altered
state of consciousness, better known as “the trance.”  With that ONE
common denominator, I decided to “investigate” by examining a plethora
of occult websites, to see what devils and demons  were openly revealing to
their faithful followers.  In other words, “I spied out the land.”  I figured
that even though Satan and his troops lie to their followers, they might reveal
something to them  that they persevere to hide from true followers of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth.  Believe me, it was a disgusting and dangerous assignment , so I do not recommend others do what I did.  The blasphemy against the Lord is horrendous and those who are weak in faith might be victimized, even indoctrinated.

As a result of a year’s work, I believe that I have uncovered Satan’s overall
agenda which ties into why the altered state of consciousness—the trance– plays such  a pivotal role in bringing about what the Anti-Christ intends  to do.  I have
written about this subject in 4 of my 6 books:  Faces of the Religious Demon, the Fake Jesus, Come Out of Her God’s People, and the New Idolatry.  However, if you are not into Christian non-fiction, then here it is in a nutshell:
The devils and demons have told their followers that “the World Master” plans to introduce himself to all mankind through what appears to be telepathic communication.  Therefore, these spirit entities have been feverishly working in our times to cause people to be able to enter into a trance–an ASC—so that the voice of the Anti-Christ can be heard.

With occult followers, it is an easy thing to do because they willingly put
themselves into trances by meditation, yoga, chanting, channeling, astral
travel, drugs, etc. With the people in the world, they enter into trances
through sex, drugs, movies, etc.   So the enemy had to devise ways to open
doorways in Christians so that “we too will be able to hear the voice of the
Anti-Christ.”  Satan is seeking for mankind to lose themselves in an altered
state of consciousness so as to provide an open doorway for demons to “walk in” when the time is right.

What I learned on the occult websites is that the Anti-Christ is going to
attempt to  pull a global stunt  where EVERYONE hears the voice of a stranger, saying the exact same thing at the exact same time.  In this way, the son of perdition intends to prove “that he is God” because he will appear to be both omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent–manifesting the qualities of God Almighty.  However, the only ones who will be able to hear his voice, will be those who have been opened to “the trance.”

I was once, one of those people.  In the 70’s, I was a psychic medium.  An
opened door to it ALL OF IT.  Once I got saved on March 29,1977, all
occult doorways were shut down.  However, in 1982,  I reopened them by heeding to the doctrines and the practices of the charismatic movement.  For 25 years, I heard from religious demons, mostly in dreams and sometimes audibly, believing that I was hearing from the Holy Ghost.  When the Lord opened my blind eyes to the truth, I shut down ALL of it: tongues, slain in the spirit, the laughter, the travail in the spirit—I MEAN ALL OF IT.   I put up a spiritual blockade over my mind at night,  that protects me from remembering what demons try to tell me in dreams.  When God speaks to me now, I don’t feel ANYTHING. I simply “know things.”  After a day or so I realize, “Oh, the Holy Ghost was here.  Imagine that!”

Fallen angels stand by, patiently watching and waiting for their churchgoing prey to allow themselves to be induced into an altered state of consciousness by “any means necessary.” One they spot an opening, the religious angels seize the opportunity.  The most classic example is that of Alice Bailey, the infamous founder of present day occultism.  A churchgoing woman, Bailey is actually the founder of what is known today as “the occult.”  Most startling is that Alice Bailey began as a Sunday School Teacher in a Presbyterian church.

Deliverance Ministry and the Need for Repentance

It took more than two decades for me to discover that the enemy had called me into deliverance ministry.

But God revealed it to me in recent years.  Some may think that perhaps I was fooled and that once again, the religious spirit  assigned to me sent me yet another counterfeit message. Those who practice deliverance  would remind me that Satan does not cast out devils or his kingdom would not stand.  And yes, I would agree.

 However, I am inclined to believe that it was the Lord, for one simple reason.

I had begun to notice over time, that “those who manifested the most were the captives who never really got delivered.”   By “manifest,”I am referring to coughing, vomiting, growling, screaming, blasphemous utterances, and the like.

The truth is that “demons love to manifest.” Its a neat one of those “kill to birds with one stone,” kind of trick.  The deliverance worker gets puffed up and the captives is fooled that he or she has been set free.  What I have found is that true and complete deliverance is contingent upon the resistance of pride through
repentance.

I understand now why the Lord Jesus Christ declared that John the Baptist was the greatest born among men. With the exception of the Lord’s own mission of bringing salvation to the world, John the Baptist’s mission was the most important, as the only way to rebirth is through repentance. No one can come to the Father except by Jesus. Even so, no one can come to Jesus except through John’s message of repentance.

 In spite of the fact that John the Baptist did not heal, nor did he cast out devils, John’s ministry was indeed the doorway to the supernatural. Through the preaching of repentance and through baptizing the sinner in water, John’s job was to prepare the way for the Lord to the sinner. Only through repentance and
baptism in water is the sinner prepared to receive the Lord. The Charismatics have amplified the meaning of repentance as a “change of mind” or
a “turning in another direction.” However, the repentance that saves is to
experience godly sorrow. Godly sorrow is an experience of the soul’s grief for
having no worthiness to approach God on one’s own merit.

 It should not be mistaken for human shame or guilt due to wrong doing. The truth is that most people are already convinced in their minds that they are sinners. They reason in their minds “well, yeah, I have sinned, but so has the next guy and when I look around at others, my sins are nothing compared to his, so I believe I’m going to heaven because I am not that bad.” People in the world repent every day for this sin or that sin, yet without the leading of the Holy Ghost, they will not repent of being in the depths of their soul, “an alienated sinner, without God in the world.”

  Godly sorrow of this kind is a deeply emotional experience where the sinner is brought face to face with his own inner darkness. It is the dark night of the soul. It is no
longer a comparison to the “next guy.” It becomes “it’s me Lord—and compared to You, I am a wretched being, a poor excuse of humanity. My heart cries out to You to save me.”

Brokenness is an important aspect of  achieving repentance toward God. When we are broken, we become ready to be forgiven for our sins and to be sanctified or set apart for His use. Brokenness is symbolized in the baptism in water, in that “the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)

The brokenness of repentance feels like someone came into the room of our lives and suddenly turned the light switch on and exposed us. Jesus said that unless a seed
falls to the ground and dies, it cannot become what it was destined to be, and
that is “a child of God and a son of God.” We cannot cry out “Abba, Father” until we become aware in our hearts how our sin has separated us from Him and that the Lord’s Jesus Christ’s sacrifice at the cross has brought us into right relationship with Him.

Repentance is a walk of faith and humility into the valley of brokenness. Unless we take this walk, we are too rigid and hard to be molded in the hand of God. More than just simply being powerless before God, repentance leads to a brokenness before Him where we have been made to see our sins as God sees them. Repentance is the process whereby we have come to realize deep within, that our sins have hurt the Father. Only then, does the sinner receive salvation.

There are many who need deliverance from deliverance ministries.  I know because those who contact me for deliverance have generally been involved with at least two or more deliverance ministries before they find me on the web.  They come armed with information about the Jezebel spirit, ancestral curses, and the like.  Most of the time, their personal issues need to be dealt with before even considering casting out ONE demon.  Most often, that issue is a need for repentance and brokenness through confronting personal pride and rebellion.  To know more, you need “The New Idolatry.”

“What I am finding is that deliverance workers are using the demonic realm as a potential proof that the spiritual dimension exists.  For as demons surface and blaspheme God, such manifestations are suggestive of God’s own reality.  This too is a perversion of true faith.  The bible says that we believe in God BY FAITH, simply because HE IS, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  We are not to believe in God because we believe in the existence of the devil.  For the devil to have to be  convincing sin to the world that God exists is an outrage and an insult to the Almighty One, the Creator of Satan. Since when does the creature validate His Maker??? Satan can only do what God allows him to do.  Satan himself is a mere creature, not the Creator.” (pg 124)

THE WHOSE WHO ON A LIST OF DEMON NAMES

There are demons and there are fallen angels which we can simply call “devils.” Demons must be cast out. Fallen angels must be driven away by the spiritual armor of Ephesians 6. Fallen angels desire to possess humans but it is difficult as we are of two entirely different creations. Demons on the other hand, have been half human. They lived in human flesh and were born and walked the earth in flesh before the flood. So demons desire to be in flesh as their favorite dwelling place. Demons also report to fallen angels.

There is a demon and  fallen angel that I call “the spirit of death.” The demon’s assignment is to take life by any means necessary BEFORE a person’s appointed time by sickness, accidents, suicide and homocides.Fallen angels work on natural disasters. The spirit of death–the work of fallen angels— also orchestrates and designs phony life after death experiences.

There are also the list of demons that we see in the bible: the deaf and dumb spirit, the spirit of infirmity, the spirit of divination, and so on.  These are all demons.  The fallen angels are the principalities and powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high or heavenly places.  They are territorial and they are of huge size.  I have some pictures of the heads of these demons. The head is so big that the demons feet could be placed in two different US states, ie. the left in NY and the right foot In New Jersey. Maybe California.  It is hard to tell.

As to “my” list, I primarily deal with the religious demon.  He is the one who causes false conversions by deceiving folk to “accept Jesus and ask Him to come into your hearts.” The one who answers that invitation is not Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  The fake Jesus responds by sending one of his religious demons to actually enter the seeker’s spiritual heart—the chakra or spiritual gateway guarded by an entity with a Hindu name called “Isha.”  Isha works for the fake Jesus who in the occult world is called Jesus Sananda Immanuel.  So two of the names on my list are Isha and Sananda.

Then there ore other doorways. Chakras are actually doorways for Hindu gods who themselves are really principalities and powers.  Each of these entities stand guard over each of the 7 portals: Over the crown is Shiva; the third eye is Hakini, the throat is Savashiva, the navel is Bahni, the sexual organs are Vishnu and Rakeeni, the anus is Brahma and the heart is Isha.

Since no where in the bible does it even suggest that we should “ask Jesus into our hearts,” the fallen angel Isha responds to the unsuspecting seekers “invitation” as a call to the fake Jesus Sananda who Isha serves.  So Isha opens the doorway to the heart and religious demons are able to enter and take up residence.

Where a false conversion is concerned, the captive must first have a revelation that they are not saved and that Sananda answered their invitation. So they must be strengthened in their free will to revoke the original invitation. Why? Because demons stand before God declaring that “they own you because YOU invited them.”

Then I make my commands in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazereth when I confront   Isha.  I cast out Isha and the rest of the religious demons will follow. They will flood out just as they did when Jesus spoke to Legion and ALL 6000 demons ran out and into the pigs.

But the truth of the matter is that for most demons that I have cast out since 1983, I didn’t need a specific name and I had no list of demon names.

Deliverance Ministry’s Use of a List of Demon Names

In the field of deliverance ministry, there are 3 schools of thought: The Spiritual Warfare School, the Providential School and the Laodicean World View.

The Spiritual Warfare school of thought is like this. God is not really sovereign and therefore the light and truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ is NOT sufficient to set captives free.  As such, new doctrines have been created like “generational curses” as an outstanding example.  New doctrines have been created by those who have taken scripture of its natural context to develop a complicated practice known as “deliverance ministry.”  In the spiritual warfare world view, we MUST know the names of demons.  Too often, proponents of this view ask demons what their names are, expecting them to tell them the truth, based on ONE scripture where Jesus asked for a name and the demon answered, “Legion, for we are many.”  Let’s face it. The Lord wasn’t going to stand there and call out 6000 names.

Then there is the Providential School.  These are those who believe that God is in control and therefore, all we need to do about demons is to seek after Jesus, live a righteous life and not pay any attention to demons. Don’t study them, simply call on the Lord to be delivered.  To them I ask. “What about Job? There was no more of a righteous man in his day and time, yet God set Job up to contend with the devil.

I stand with a school that I myself have laid the foundation for: The Laodicean School.

I start with the premise that we are living in the 7th church age of Laodicea. As the Lord points out, this is an age of gross religious deception due to pride, spiritual blindness and vanity. Therefore, EVERYTHING supernatural must be tried and tested. Deliverance ministry is supernatural and so it too must be “suspect” as it was designed and created by deceived Christians in the early 70’s: Frank and Ida Hammond with their book “Pigs in the Parlor,” and Derek Prince and his books, particularly “How to Expel Demons.”

I take the best from both views. God is in control but He requires us to know the enemy’s tricks and wiles.

Do I have a list of names?  Yes. A very short list.

HOW DEMONS USE THE WEAK TO DEFEAT THE STRONG

The religious demon will cause the captive to be in a constant state of irritation when others are “disobedient” or “noncompliant” to his suggestions, recommendations & instructions. Any kind of delay or necessity to wait may even lead to outbursts of temper that may also erupt into rage. Demons will also work to cause the captive to minimize such outbursts so as to cause him to be ill prepared for a future eruption that will lead to a disaster that demons have secretly planned for years.

In such cases, the  demon will align itself with a spirit of death. The spirit of death specializes in accidents, suicide and murder. The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. The demons also work well when the captive is unaware of his own bossy behavior. Even if the captive  becomes hostile and angry when things don’t go his way, the witchcraft demon will cause him to still insist that he is merely a gentle and meek soul who is provoked into anger because the brethren are so ill-advised in their rebellion against him. The rage arising from the rebellion of significant others may be hidden to such an extent that the captive may not even recognize why he feels depressed and tired. Only accurate observation can gradually and progressively uncover the connection between the captive’s desire to control others and how this desire must be broken by the Holy Ghost.

If the captive begins to recognize the connection between his pride, his desire to control others, and his fatigue, depression and anxiety, he will be able to successfully prepare the ground of his soul for the expulsion of the witchcraft demon. In fact, quite often, when a captive is able to resist personal pride, frequently  demons  flee on their own, without the necessity of casting them out.

The witchcraft demon can hide in a person who naturally has a strong personality as well as a person who appears to have a low self-image. Every newborn comes into this world a sinner, yet tooting his own horn. Infants learn quickly how to have a temper tantrum by screaming to get its needs met. Babies have the power to control their adult parents with  screams of temper. Jesus said that the meek would inherit the earth. A meek person is one who puts the Lord’s will before his own and complies and submits to the word of God in spite of his own desires and feelings.

Yet, somehow,  demons can and  will use the seemingly weak to inherit or “own” the souls of others. Religious demons  use “the weak” to bring guilt trips, condemnation and accusations against those who have a strength of character that they themselves lack. This is the religious  demon at its best because the weak seem to be so helpless in their attempts to control people with “love and affection,” they can set a strong trap for the unsuspecting. This is the manner in which the witchcraft demon very often enters into parent/child relationships, a situation that is conducive to a demonic soul tie..” In this particular conversation regarding witchcraft predispositions of the human soul, suffice it to say that the domineering character flaw is the pursuit of power and control.

The blind side is that witchcraft does not necessarily manifest itself with open hostility towards others. In fact, it is often disguised in socially acceptable ways, like  giving unsolicited advice, seeking to manage other people’s affairs, or taking a helpful initiative in problem solving—the butinski personality type. So keep your eyes opened so that you can see beyond the blind side.

How I Protect My Spirit by Pam Sheppard

Last fall, I was riding along slightly mesmerized by  the beautiful colors of the fall season, when a power came on me to compel me to speak in tongues.  As the first word tried to blurt its way out of me, I rebuked the demon sitting in full view of others waiting in their lane for the light to change.  Out loud, I rebuked “this thing”  not once but at least 3 or 4 times before I felt the compulsion to utter finally  leave me.

I know what some of you are thinking.  “Wasn’t that the Holy Ghost IN you, Pam, that wanted to use you to magnify God in the  awesome beauty of His creation?”

To answer your question without going through a long teaching on tongues, I will respond this way.  The Holy Ghost is a Gentleman.  He is God so He knows everything.  As such, He knows that I no longer believe in the manifestation of speaking in tongues, at least not in this hour of gross deception. He would not endanger my life on a busy highway. As such, He would not approach me with tongues because He knows that I will not receive Him that way.  The fact that I had to rebuke “this entity”  more than once is an indication that the tongue that tried to manifest “was not God.!”

So what I did this afternoon was “protect my spirit” at an hour that was completely unexpected.  In the quotation taken from  the book of Luke, the Lord’s parable  above, “the house” is symbolic of man in  spirit, soul and body.  Protecting the body is extremely important to natural living, as our eternal nature of spirit and soul cannot function  on earth without our bodies.  The more my body ages, the more committed I am to protecting it.  However, my concentration in these mentoring letters is both the soul and the spirit..

Protecting what is totally invisible can be quite challenging.  The first thing you need to become aware of is “the thief.”  The thief is a Satanic agent that has been assigned to both you and to me from the moment of our birth.  He is always there.  No need to fear him because if he could have “taken me out,” he would have done so already.  His objective was to keep me on the broad way so that the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ would not shine on me.  However, once the Holy Spirit selected  “my hour,” Satan’s agent has failed.  Even so, he never gives up.  However, I have resisted him to such an extent, that most of the time, he is “in flee” mode.

The goal of these posts is to “prepare you for the thief.”  The thief desires to sift you like wheat by any means necessary.

Since the agent assigned to you has been watching you, he knows you, to a certain extent.  When my agent “knew” me, he had lots of success.  One of the strategies that he used against me was to threaten me or people close to me.  My natural reaction to a threat is to fight, and meet the challenger face to face, toe to toe.  However, once  I am in the midst of a pre-fabricated battle, the agent  sneakily attacks me from behind, namely,  he comes against what I have left vulnerable and un-protected.  Once my eyes became open to how the enemy was using me against myself, I no longer react to threats before “I watch and I pray.”  Most of the time, the threat had no substance and it withers almost as soon as it came.

You ask “well, why would the agent assigned to you. approach you with tongues?”  Because I have closed off all of the enemy’s doorways, and tongues is the only way he can reach my spirit.   His biggest doorway that has been slammed shut is my dreams.  I have trained my spirit to reject, even while I am sleeping, any subliminal message that is sent to discourage  me or weaken me in spirit, soul and body.  It is hard to describe but I have set up spiritual blockades.  Even if the enemy agent is able to break through, my spirit automatically reacts aggressively.

For example, the enemy came at me last October  in a dream,  trying to tell me that “I am next in the death by sickness department, since it appears to be  a season for people I have known for years to be sick and dying.  Also, it is a vulnerable month in my life,—the month when most I know have died.  In a recent dream, Satan’s agent came to me in the form of an old friend from college who kept trying to bombard my spirit with the fear of death. You need to know that your agent can come to you in any form.

My reaction while asleep?  I boldly proclaimed, “my doctor told me that even though I have lived a long time, I have yet a long time to live because I am so healthy.” My doctor actually said this and I repeated his words to this “friend.”  Then the agent openly reveal himself very nastily and retorted, “but you are obese.”  My response?  “Yeh, but I’m workin on that! Being overweight will NOT KILL ME!!!

I have learned that once you overcome the fear of dying, then your agent has been silenced.  My strong tower is “a thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my  right hand, but it shall NOT COME NIGH ME!!!! ” This is the nature of my spirit when I see myself operating in dreams.  I am fit and fearless.

My hopeful anticipation of the return of the Lord keeps me fit and fearless.  Why?  Because if the Lord returns within a life span of 100 years from the day that I was born, then I have trained myself to believe that I will be alive when He comes again because “I can make it to 100.”

If Jesus Christ of Nazareth  tarries and I have “gone on,” then I believe that I will still be alive though my body be waiting for me in its grave.  Every Christian generation has held on to this anchor of their soul in order to defeat the fear of death.  I just happen to believe that I am living in the generation where every sign that “this is the Lord’s hour”  is “there.”  So if I can live, I intend to live and the agent assigned to me cannot condition me for dying before I am ready to go.  Now that is that with that!  lol

Here are some practical ways to start the process of ridding yourself of demonic captivity by casting down imaginations and every high thing that would exalt itself above the knowledge of Christ and bringing every thought into obedience to Him:

    • Your Attitude Toward the Past: You should have no regrets or brooding over things done and undone.  To avoid an evil kind of thinking that leads to brooding, you must learn to discern for yourself if you are simply “thinking” or if you are being drawn into a state of regretting or brooding by the demon that is assigned to YOU. If you are to overcome, you need to know that success at   being set free requires victory over the past, in spite of all your failures that the enemy helps you to list and record in your mind.  Your failures should be dealt with on the basis of I John 1:9.
    • Your Attitude Toward the Future: You must concentrate on the Lord’s own words by “taking no thought for tomorrow.”  Not that you should not think about or even make future plans, but you should be careful not to fall victim to trying to make up in the future for sins of the past that already have been forgiven by God.  Once a sin has been repented of, cleansing will occur when you can forget what is behind and press toward the future that is God’s plan for the rest of your life.
    • Your Attitude Toward Devils and Demons: You should be trained to discern your own thoughts from those implanted into your mind by spirit entities.  You should realize that only the Lord knows your heart and that demons cannot read your mind.  Demons know only the thoughts that THEY have successfully planted into your mind–thoughts that you have received as your own because of the nature of your deception.  Remember this.  “He that doeth the truth, cometh to the light.”  (John 3:21)
    • Your Attitude Toward the Present Moment: Doubt can be a good thing, particularly when those fictitious foundations upon which you have built up your pride system become shaky.  Doubt of this kind can lead to sincere humility.  God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.  Against the enemy, your best weapon is God’s grace.  Your worst mistake in judgment is your assumption that because you profess to be a Christian, that God will protect you from being deceived.  Not so.  It is God Himself who has released strong delusion in our times.  So deception is a matter of course.  God has given us the weapons and the tools to be un-deceived.  Your best weapon is to look around you, and allow your doubt to assist you to question EVERYTHING!

Paul taught the Galatians that witchcraft and idolatry are “works of the flesh.” A work of the flesh is simply a character flaw of the old sin nature BEFORE Christ that lingers on if the person does not submit him or herself to the cross. To submit to the cross is to allow the Holy Spirit to progressively break you in both your personality and your character traits.So what does this mean, exactly. Does it mean that demons are not involved in a “work of the flesh?” Absolutely not. Witchcraft and idolatry are demonic practices. What it DOES mean is that people who have witchcraft in them as a work of the flesh—a personality flaw— are more susceptible to demonic influence, particularly religious demons and devils.

 I have witnessed too many manifestations of evil spirits in ALL of the works of the flesh, so clearly there are two definitions of witchcraft and idolatry. Where a work of the flesh is a personality type that is predisposed to demonic involvement, the actual act of witchcraft and idolatry are demonic practices. When demons are looking for “human workers” to implement their agenda, they target people who already have witchcraft and idolatry built into their persona as “a work of the flesh.”Along these lines, the witchcraft demon is attracted to a person with a soul that is predisposed to to the three (3) “P”s of position, prestige and power. Those who wish to dominate, to acquire fame and prominence, can become a safe haven for the witchcraft demon.

In such cases, the captive’s own personality will be a secure place in which demons of a similar nature will be able to hide and secretly function. This is because no one will suspect that the captive’s ambitious striving for control and domination is demonic because the captive has continued to demonstrate over time a steady pattern that propels them to seek power. Consequently, everyone just assumes that the captive is simply being true to his nature or character and therefore, doesn’t have a demon. The witchcraft demon will also hide within weaker personalities.

For example, there are those who wear a facade of false humility, who appear to be very self-effacing and passive. However, deep within his or her soul is a striving to “be somebody.” People with this kind of soul will offer up many testimonies of their inadequacies and their lack of ambition, yet when confronted, they will show in their actions that they are not at all convinced of their own unworthiness. In fact, when there is even a minor concern or question about their actions or motives in a particular situation, they will become extremely defensive and resentful. If others show a tendency to take their self-belittling attitude and recriminations seriously, a seething anger may erupt that is out of balance and extreme. For instance, while the so-called “humble” will proclaim their unworthiness, a witchcraft demon will cause them to make great demands for consideration and admiration from others. The witchcraft spirit will rise up and expose itself in these “low key” people, presenting a strong unwillingness to accept even the slightest degree of criticism.

You will find many people like this among professing Christians.  They are passive on the outside but inside, they are seething, ravenous wolves who will use a humble demeanor and manner as a weapon to bring others down.  Repressed anger and envy has opened passive-aggressive people to a religious demon. In such cases, passivity masquerades and humility. The inner hostilities are hidden from view by a veneer of a pretended politeness, feigned fair play and an appearance of good fellowship.  This “front” is a coverup used in subtle ways to move against perceived enemies in an effort to shame others with their “nice” behavior.  The facade consists of pretenses, hidden fears and some genuine caring mixed in with an ability to make YOU look bad in comparison to THEM.

Satan tried to steal my soul at a very young age. When I was three years old, I was sexually abused by the teenage boys and girls down the street from where I lived. What would a little girl know about sex at this age? Because of this door being opened it was the beginning of my visitations from demons of lust. .

At night I would lie in bed,  little and scared because I would feel the demons around me, I would cry because I was scared. After about a year, we moved away to a different town. My mother had then gotten us involved in a Lutheran church. I would remember going there and feeling safe. Little did I know then, that the jesus I was seeing there was the fake jesus and not the real one.

I was still being visited by the demons but then I also started having visitations from this “jesus” and in that time, I had visitations on many occasions. I would feel demons of lust around me wanting to have sex with me, but I would see this “jesus” also. This was the hook …Satan’s agenda..get me to follow the fake jesus by showing himself to me and helping to dispel the demons of lust….

If that wasn’t bad enough, the man next door to us at our new home had begun to sexually abuse me and this is when I began to understand that when there is sexual abuse, the demons from others can almost sniff it out..like when a male dog goes into heat looking for a female to mate with, such is how these demons sniff out sexual abuse in another. I know now that the main objective was for the enemy to render me useless for the kingdom of God by playing himself against himself. He was setting me up for the big deception…..

At 16 I was on the beach with my friend when I saw a young boy sitting in the sand with his legs crossed. He was around my age and as I was walking by him he asked me, “Do you know Jesus Christ?”  I didn’t but I was so angry all of the time, and I fought constantly with my parents and siblings..our home was chaotic most of the time. I said “no”  and he asked me if I wanted to. I said “sure” as my life couldn’t have gotten any worse than it already was. I said the “Sinners Prayer” with him and asked jesus into my heart. I was more out of control than I had ever been. I got pregnant and aborted the baby shortly after,became promiscuous and this would be the start of my depression…I would go on this way for years….little did Satan know that God had other plans for my life, but I will talk about that it my next article…until then, know this: If Jesus Christ of Nazareth has truly set you free, you will be free indeed.

My name is Kellie Leclerc, and I was saved by the Lord in the Spring of 1988. I have always desired a relationship with the Lord, even if I didn’t understand what that meant or how to achieve it. It was not until the spring that I was called into new life with Him at age 33.

I was once a captive and through deliverance counseling with Pam, I was set free from a demon of depression. It’s because of this that I began to understand about depression and how demons can work their way into a person’s personality so that they become a part of the person. I am a person who has gone through trauma and became fragmented. I began to  realize that demons filled in the gaps of my personality.  Demons not only gave way to my depression, but to religious and lustful demons as well.  These demonic entities working along with my own free will drove me to behaviors that were contrary to the will of God.

A religious teaching I had learned in organized religion was that God would help me, deliver me and take care of me if I just believed. The question was, what did I believe? This question would nag me for the rest of my stay in the religious organization. A quote from the book The Fake Jesus described my condition, “The primary cause of deception and possession in surrendered believers may be condensed into one word, ‘PASSIVITY’, this is, a cessation of the active exercise of the WILL in control over the spirit, soul or body, as may be the case. It is, practically, a counterfeit of ‘surrender to God’. The believer who surrenders their members or faculties to God, and ceases to use them themselves, thereby falls into passivity which enable evil spirits to deceive, and possess any part of his being which has become passive.”

    I had surrendered myself to thinking that God was going to take care of everything and all I had to do was go to church, tithe, do side ministries for the church and God was going to heal me from all of my depression. The problem with this thinking was, I never pursued the real truth of what I was hearing. I basically thought, “If this is what is being preached by my pastors, and leadership, this is what must be true.” Little did I know that all it was doing was putting me deeper in bondage to these demons.  I lost my home, couldn’t take care of my children, became the most depressed I had ever been in my life and was led into two adulterous relationships. It was only when God called me out and as He slowly undeceived me, I saw the error in the doctrine that was being preached. It is because of this I will be able to help others out of the wilderness of depression, religion and lust.
