How To Properly Discern a Religious Spirit?

I know you have heard a lot of talk on religious spirits. If you are new to church (as we know it), or if you’ve been in church for over 40 years, this term may baffle you because you have been taught that – as the song goes ‘Religion SO sweet…’
We all have been lulled into a semi- or fully-delusional state where we are drugged into believing something we know deep down inside ‘just isn’t right.’ We just went to church and went along with the programs to get along. We didn’t want to rock the boat, so to speak, out of fear that we would be labeled ‘rebellious,’ ‘unfaithful,’ ‘unteachable,’ or a host of other names leadership likes to place on thinking people who were blessed with common sense AND wisdom to know game when they see it.
Yet even the most discerning, the most wise, the most street-wise of us check our brains in at the door of a church once we enter therein. We erroneously think that we are NOT supposed to use the wisdom and common sense GOD HIMSELF has blessed us with once we walk through the doors of a church. We erroneously believe that God does NOT deal with our minds at all. So any inkling deep down in our guts and minds that game is being played we suppress that, thinking that it’s the devil trying to get us ‘out of the ship.’
How do we properly discern a Religious Spirit?
Well, for starters, I want to present to you that after we are born again, we should not check in our brains at the door. EVERYTHING that God has allowed you to learn-whether it was via books and a teacher, or on the streets, or by life experience-EVERYTHING has been allowed to happen in your life so that you can LEARN A LESSON from it. The good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful. We have to learn to not have any regrets…even over mistakes.
Human beings are learning creatures. From the moment we are born into the earth, until the hour we breathe our last breath, we are supposed to be in a CONSTANT state of learning, and probably re-learning, too.
If your gut tells you something ain’t right, then TRUST YOUR INSTINCT!
A religious spirit knows how to look holy, righteous. Just by first glance, you can’t tell the difference between a holy person and a religious one. They will look just like the woman above.
But as time goes on, and you start spending time with that person, you will start to notice inconsistencies. Certain things just wouldn’t line up. You will start seeing glaring imperfections and brazen outright sin in their lives…but the more those weeds in their lives manifest, the more they try to COVER IT UP with works of righteousness, more church work, more random acts of kindness to strangers, more religious works.
The more works of religion and righteousness they do, you will begin to notice that their life does not line up with the Word of God. They will sin and not be convicted of it. They will not respond to the conviction of the Holy Ghost of sin and justify sin, or be in outright denial about their sinful state. And the more they do this, the more active they get in the church. They do more ‘church work,’ hold more revivals, conferences, and convocations, preach harder, prophesy harder…all in an effort to gain their OWN righteousness, to atone for their sins on their own. Their mindset is ‘If I stay in church enough, that will make up for my fornicating last night,’ or ‘If I do A & B, then that will make up for my dealing drugs at that school…’
The demon starts to manifest by then. And it looks a little something like this:
By now, the church lady is cussing, drinking, smoking, lying, threatening to cut folks. When she goes to church, she has her hands upraised. Praising God, speaking in tongues, running around the church, preaching….the whole nine. But when you see her in situations that require her to have patience, she has none. This religious spirit has NO patience. It wants what it wants, when it wants it! They gotta preach…NOW! They gotta prophesy….NOW! They gotta get married…NOW! You wanna see if someone has a religious spirit, tell them NO…or WAIT. If they go off in a tantrum, then you got a religious spirit on your hands!
A religious spirit also is very unaware of the very real fact that they are, too, flawed individuals…with sin. They swim in a pool of SELF-DENIAL. They are in self-denial about EVERYTHING. But the one thing they are in self-denial about is the state of their own selves.
A religious spirit is a potentially dangerous spirit, for there is nothing-NOTHING-a religious spirit WON’T do to protect THEIR IMAGE! THEIR IMAGE IS EVERYTHING TO THEM!!! They don’t believe in self-exposure or disclosure. When they fall into sin, drastic measures are taken to COVER UP their sin. If the religious spirit is a pastor, he/she will employ the help of the church to participate in the cover up. They will use fear tactics and mishandle the Word of God to manipulate and control people into doing what THEY want them to do.
A religious spirit NEEDS an entourage. They need a following. If they dont have anyone following them, they feel useless, rejected, persecuted even. This is when a religious spirit-that demonic spirit-will FULLY manifest….right before your eyes!
A religious spirit is a proud one. It won’t ever admit to being wrong, or doing wrong.
When you have discerned that you are dealing with a religious spirit, the only thing to do is to get away from them. Because until the person comes into the realization and revelation that they have something DEMONIC that’s driving them to do things in church, or do ministry, or for a good cause, there is nothing that can be done for them. Religious spirits are SO insidious and subtle that its hard to recognize….at first glance. It takes TIME to observe a person in all their various atmospheres to determine if they have a religious spirit or not.
In ‘Faces of a Religious Demon’ by Pam Sheppard, many faces of the religious spirit/demon are exposed. It is one of the most thorough teachings on religious spirits that I have ever read.

Why the Church is Powerless and Cannot Cast Out Devils

Casting out demons 2000 years ago was a lot more elementary and certainly less complicated than what believers have to contend with today. For as the world evolved from an agricultural to an industrial society, so have demons and devils adjusted to the ever-increasing sophistication of modern times. For example, with the advent of the telephone, who would have thought that it could be used to cast out devils? I certainly never considered it until spontaneously, I was compelled to do so and then was shocked when it actually worked!
I believe the year was 2002 when I received a phone call from Doris Wagner, the author of “How to Cast Out Demons” and the wife of one of the well-known evangelical leaders, Dr. Peter Wagner of the Fuller Theological Seminary Institute of Church Growth in Colorado. I had requested that Doris write a review of my first book, “To the Curse the Root,” and she did so. A few years later, she called me on the phone with a request that I conduct a deliverance of a minister who lived in my state. At the time, she could locate only two deliverance workers in NY, one in Buffalo and myself.
The minister in question who I’ll simply call, “Rev,” had obtained Doris’s book because he needed to be set free from a demon. Prepared to fly from NY to Colorado, Rev was desperate. Too busy to handle his case, Doris did a search on the web to find someone from his home state and I was the only one online that she could find in New York, besides the man in Buffalo, who did not return her call. So, “I was all she wrote.”
A day or so later, Rev. called me. In short, he was too suspicious of me to travel the 3 hours to my city and that same suspicion would not allow him to accept my invitation to travel to him. So, exasperated with this demon, I simply commanded it to come out of him over the telephone, and I was as shocked as Rev. was. He was immediately delivered over the airways.
Pompous and proud, a bona-fide mega preacher wannabee, the “Rev” boastfully said to me, “Pam, when I get big, I’ll look out for you.” I guess he never got big because that was 110 years ago, and I have not heard from him yet! The truth of the matter, with such a proud spirit, I would not be surprised to hear that demons have re-infested him, in one way or the other.
So I know you are wondering how “Mr. Big” became demonized in the first place! A single man, the Rev had been sleeping with one of the single women who was a member of the congregation that he pastored. His girlfriend was the leader of the church’s “deliverance team.” On the night that the Rev. was demonized, his girlfriend and the rest of the team were in the church building, casting out demons from someone— when the demons turned on them, very much like is recorded in the book of Acts concerning the sons of Sceva. The demon or demons in the captive used the captive’s body to jump on the members of the deliverance team and “conduct a beat down”.
The girlfriend frantically ran to the telephone—-check this out–and called Rev.
He had been in a deep, coma like sleep and he woke up and picked up the phone, only to hear his girlfriend screaming in fright. Not fully understanding what was going on, all of a sudden, he saw something that he described as “a silver ball like thing,” rolling like a bowling ball down his alley and entered into his chest. Until he contacted Doris and then me, he had been possessed with a spirit of fear for about 6 weeks. He was afraid to come out of his house, and preaching from his pulpit was particularly challenging, to say the least. The fear was so debilitating, that he was anxious to fly to Colorado from NY for Doris Wagner to set him free.
When I suggested that he travel to me, a distance of about 3 hours by bus, train or car, he refused. He was too fearful for that. He could take a plane because he could sit down in the seat and close his eyes. But he could not handle any other kind of transportation. There is a flight from his city to mine, that takes about 45 minutes but we never thought of that at the time. So I offered to travel to New York City but the Rev refused because he was both fearful and suspicious of me, for I was in no way as noteworthy as Doris Wagner. So while he was speaking, the Holy Ghost moved on me and I commanded the spirit to come out of him.
It did so immediately.
This may seem like a simple deliverance success story. However, it is not. There is much more to it than meets the eye. So what am I suggesting about this incident?
Rev. was not saved, his girlfriend was not saved, and the demons had taken over the entire sanctuary. If I had travelled to him and attempted to conduct the deliverance in the Rev’s church, I suspect that the demon would NOT have come out of him.
Thank God for the telephone and thank God for Mr. Alexander Graham Bell.
Those who practice Deliverance 101 would boast, “Oh, this case is elementary. Rev. and his girlfriend were committing the sin of fornication, so they became vulnerable to demons. Sins gives ground to the devil. They put themselves in harm’s way by trying to cast out demons from people. Case closed. Simple.

No, it is not so simple. For there is MORE! This one case did more than just reveal to me that demons can be cast out over the telephone. When I revisit the experience today, I can apply what 10 additional years under my belt have taught me. My experience with “the Rev” confirms what I have suspected for the last five years–a revelatory question that led me to write 4 books: Faces of the Religious Demon, Come Out of Her God’s People, the New Idolatry and the recently released e-book, Be Delivered From Deliverance Ministry.
So here goes, the question.
Have religious devils already taken over the pulpits throughout the entire organized church, perhaps the entire nation, perhaps worldwide?
I suggest to you an emphatic “yes!!!!”

As I stated in my last note, there seems to be a rise in homosexuality in the pulpit, in the churches. And we all need to ask ourselves why is this so?
I went into defining each category of sin mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. It was a blessing to do it!
I also did it because we all have to look at ourselves as well. Truth be told, those ‘categories’ of sin just about covers us ALL. We ALL have been guilty of at least one of those sins. So that leaves us all filthy as rags in the eyesight of God.
Be that as it may…the subject is why so much blatant homosexuality out here today?
Ok.
We are living in the last days. In the last days, the Word says that this would happen.
Just read Romans 1: 21-28:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient
Now, I don’t wanna get hard on the brothers. I love you, I REALLY do! But we have to take note of what’s happening before our eyes here in the scriptures. Now, in my last note when I defined the meanings of the sinners called Effeminate, Abusers of themselves with Mankind, Adulterers, Fornicators, I noticed something. When looking up the Strong’s Concordance meanings, I noticed that the women were not addressed in this definition, but the men. I wondered why was this so; clearly, there are lesbians in the land. There are female fornicators, adulterers. But why not mention the women in these sins?
It took me back to Genesis, and the fall of man, that is referred to the fall of M.A.N., not the fall of man and woman.
Now, don’t get mad with me. But it seems to me that when the man sins…in particularly, against his own body or that of a woman’s, then God does not address the sin of the woman…directly. God comes after the MAN. Now, I will admit, this is a hard saying. I feel for you, brothers. But I cannot change the scriptures, or the mind of God, no matter how bad I feel about it.
What I am trying to say is that God will punish the man MORE than the woman in these matters. God will address the man and fault him for not taking his rightful place as the leader. Just think about it: if Adam hadn’t eaten of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and it was just Eve, do you all think that all of mankind would have suffered death? If Adam had put his foot down and said, ‘Woman, God told me not to do this. So even though I love you, I won’t sin against God…’ I think that mankind could have stayed in paradise. Eve would have repented, and all would be fine.
But it wasn’t until the man sinned-then lied about it, that God pronounced judgment. This speaks to the accoutability of the man.
In Romans 1, if you read it…you will see that the first mention of this bent towards homosexuality and lesbiansim starts off when people started hauling off into idolatry (Vs 23). “And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.”
When we as the church start worshipping anything or anyone other than GOD, then we open ourselves up collectively to the spirit of whoredoms, homosexuality and perversion!
Just read your word!
When Moses went up to Mt. Sinai to meet God and get the 10 Commandments, the Israelites turned to idolatry, worshipping NOT GOD, but their golden calf. The Word says when they had made themselves naked before this false god (Exo. 32:25), that was when Moses proclaimed ‘Who is on the Lord’s side?’ in vs. 26. Then Moses commanded the Levites to slay ‘every man his brother, everyman his companion, every man his neighbor..’ in vs. 27. Brother here in the Greek is ‘ach’ meaning ‘brother of same parents; half-brother (same father). Companion in the Greek is ‘rea’ meaning intimate friend of fellow. Neighbor in the Greek means ‘qarowb’ or a kinfolk.
Why does the Greek word for each of these slain not indicative or specific to females? Surely females were in the this number of idolaters that worshipped the golden idol and were slain by Moses’ command that day. Just as Eve was surely guilty of disobeying God.
When we as a church, as believers, as leaders, allow idolatry in the house, we are opening the door to homosexuality and perversion to come into our houses.
I’m so glad God led me to define the other sins in the previous lesson. Because in order to understand the origins we have to study what led to the opening in the first place.
Once we allow idolatry (that is fed by covetousness) to come into our houses, and opened the door to that spirit in the Church, there was a lot of sexual immorality that came about as a result of this. Men were sleeping with boys and men. Women were sleeping with women. Children were sleeping with each other. Married folks started having open marriages, and single folks started having ‘open relationships.’ I see that on ppl’s statuses here on FB and now it makes me terrified to think about it!
We have allowed molestation, incest, fornication, homosexuality, sexual abuse, rape, date rape…the whole nine…to go on in the house of God. And we as leaders have been afraid to ADDRESS THE ISSUES OPENLY!!!!!!
Now don’t get it twisted: this has been going on in our churches for generations! Do we really think this just started happening in the past 40 years or so? NO! Sin-ALL sin-starts out as a seed. Yes, we are born into sin, shapen in iniquity. But, certain sins in order for them to take root have to be planted in our lives, in our hearts, in our spirits, from somewhere!
In the case of sexual sin, homosexuality and lesbianism, in particular, there is a seed that has been planted in the life of people who not only practice this lifestyle, but struggle with same sex attractions as well.

I think there are many factors as to why so many pastors have fallen with this spirit. I think the first reason, by far, is the rise of the availability of pornographic material. There is a spirit of perversion that is unleashed into the soul of one who watches porn. The images that are ingrained in the mind of a man (or woman) -and even children- for a long time, especially if they choose to participate in sexual activity while watching it.
I also believe another reason is that the spirit of perversion was introduced to many of these pastors when they were young, probably by other church leaders. They saw this as a normal part of life, in the church, and all the secrecy that can surround it, so no one said anything. People died who had been in the church preaching for 50 years, they probably molested some kids, and no one said anything, swept it under the rug.
So this surge in homosexual preachers coming out or falling is only fruit of covered up abuse from their childhoods. And covered up sin in their adult lives.
So to answer your question, I would say it would be the rise of child abuse and pornography is what is causing these homosexual tendencies in preachers. There are groups out here that support pedophilia, which is adults who prefer to have sex with children. And there is, of course, those who say nothing is wrong with porn. You don’t even have to go that far to see porn; the tv programs that come on during prime time are just another form of soft porn. So there is also a de-sensitization from overtly sexual programming on TV…I heard a statistic that says during a christian conference on any given day at your local hotel, more preachers look at porn than unbelievers. That’s incredible!
Add to all of that the lack of sound teaching and deliverance in the church and the tendency to cover up wicked things…and you got a brew of sexual perversion on the rise in the church.

So there you have it. We have opened the door to these spirits by practicing and teaching idolatry. Along with the open door of idolatry, there are other contemporary issues-or rather issues that have grown throughout time-and practices we as the church have participated in to contribute to the rise of homosexuality and perversion in our pulpits.
Now. Let’s address some issues:
1) Child abuse.
Ok. Let’s be real. It is happening. Sad to say, it is happening…and its happening right in the church. It’s been happening for YEARS. Two instances in my childhood of molestation occurred in and around the church. Both were in positions of leadership in the church. And unfortunately, both were related to me. For this reason, and reasons I haven’t yet understood, no one ever addressed these issues. No one corrected the behavior. No one dealt with the perpertrators. And these (yes) men were allowed to continue in their said positions in the church up until their deaths..(and in the other, the incarceration of my relative b/c he murdered someone).
Now as a child, when something like that happens to you, it is tragic. Horrific. But even more tragic is when people sweep it under the rug, or even reprimand you for opening up and telling someone. All of this happened in my case. So I learned to cover up and lie about deviant sexual behavior as a child. I was taught that it was ok to go to church, hoop, holler, sing in the choir, and then have sex after church, behind the church, in the foyer, etc. Right or wrong, children are taught behaviors by the actions (or lack thereof) of the adults around them who are responsible for them.
Couple that with the fact that these abusers were in positions of authority over me, and that solidified the ‘ok-ness’ of the abuse. Children begin to learn that such behavior is normal. I am no different than any other child who was sexually abused. So now we have a generation, maybe 2 or 3 generations-of church kids who were more than likely molested or sexually abused…and it is highly likely it was someone in church leadership! This is horrendous!
But what’s more horrendous is the silence-especially we in the black church/community-enforces surrounding issues of sexual abuse. We have been training the babies to suffer in silence. If we let them talk about it, then we are ‘nursing our wounds.’ And I guess ppl in the black church are supposed to be so strong, so resilient, we can take anything. We don’t need to talk about abuse in the church! Just go to the altar and pray through!
That sounds good, spiritual. But what does the WORD OF GOD say?
Proverbs 28:13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Mercy is not extended to people who cover up their sins. It is only when we expose the works of darkness that sin can be healed. And, yes, exposing old wounds can be painful. But I promise you: the more you open up and talk about it, the more you are delivered from that thing! The more you tell your story, the less power it has over you! No matter how humiliating or painful-whether you be a man or a woman that was abused as a child-if you would open up and let the light shine on your wound, it will heal faster!
My mama used to tell me that band-aids were bad for us. I said why? She said that a wound, a scab, of any kind heals faster when you let some sun shine on it!
We have used ‘band aids’ in the church for generations: and that’s why no one is getting delivered or healed of their wounds. When someone is hurt, abused, raped, molested, etc., we shush shush about it. We take the abused to the altar and pray for them. And then tell them to not talk about it. If we go to the police, we are admonished by clergy that we shouldn’t be bringing church folks to court (this happened to me when a man in leadership in a church I was going to raped me. I went to the police and that bishop rebuked me and told me I was out of order from trying to press charges against this man!) The abused are then accused of lying, or the church folks say crazy things like ‘Oh, the devil is attacking this ministry. We gotta pray right now against that slanderous spirit…’ When the devil was in the ministry when it first started because the abuser was there…with that nasty, sexual perverted spirit all up in him (or her) to begin with!
I will even go as far as to say the DEVIL started the ministry in the first place!
I won’t go there..or rather, I won’t stay.
Let’s face it, Church Leaders. We have been guilty of aiding and abetting the sick, twisted, sexual desires of many a church leader. How? Because we haven’t held them accountable for their actions. We haven’t punished them for their actions. We have allowed our leaders to continue to rape our boys and girls…and then wonder why they grow up gay or lesbian???
NO ONE is born GAY! Homosexuality and lesbianism are seeds planted by the enemy early on in a child’s life. Child abuse is one way that seed is planted. The other way is the number two reason why there is a surge of homosexual activity in the church pulpit…
2) Pornography
The second way the seed of perversion and homosexuality is planted in one’s life is thru viewing-and participating in-pornography.
Now I know there will be some argument here. But it is true. There are things that go on in pornography, there things that happens to someone-spiritually-when they look at that stuff. How do I know? Well, an uncle who molested me as a child introduced me to porn. He took pictures of me…I won’t go into details. But I was a child…11 years old. The seed of perversion was planted in me as a child. I learned promiscuity and how to gain influence over men at an early age. I later developed same sex tendencies, (for those of you who are not familiar with my testimony). As one who dealt with those issues…and have been delivered from them (THANK YOU JESUS!), I can attest to the fact that this is true. There was no one in my family who was gay (with the exception of one-who I believe was molested as a child anyway). But admittedly, I came from a highly religious family that sexually abused one another. And we were told to hush!
But it was my introduction to porn that opened the door to the issues I would suffer with later in life. And the abuse. It’s a double whammy. Not trying to promote porn here, but there are sexual things that go on in porn, and there is a diabolical spirit attached to porn, that unleashes a host of other lusts in our flesh that simply are not acceptable according to the Word of God…(and in some cases, by the law, either!)
I went to a service one day where the preacher’s son testified about his suffering from same sex tendencies. (BTW, This was the church service where I received my deliverance from this spirit!) He testifed about being promiscuious and all, and how that graduated to watching porn, then participating in it. He admitted it was after watching porn that he started being attracted to other men! If I was to mention this man’s father, you would all know him. I was so floored upon hearing this…especially since it was over ten years ago! I was the first one at the altar, begging for forgiveness from my God and deliverance, of which He granted….LIBERALLY!!!!
You see, sex is a beautiful thing. It was created by God, so therefore it is good. BUT…when we step outside of the parameters clearly set by the Word of God, then we open ourselves up to demonic activity, oppression. And if we don’t seek deliverance from that thing soon, it could lead to possession. I am convinced that a majority of the pastors who are gay and preaching…well, they have given themselves over to that spirit. The enemy has convinced them that they are gay…they are lesbian. Forever. It’s had a hold on their lives for so long, they don’t even believe that they can be delivered anymore. They may be possessed.
But just like the Gadarene Demoniac, even someone possessed by a devil can be FREE! Delivered!!!
It starts with you making up your mind that you don’t want to live that way anymore! You have to hate that sin more than anything! You can’t make excuses for it. You can’t coddle it. You can’t play with it! There can’t be anything in you that wants to hold onto it. NOTHING! When you think about having gay or lesbian sex, you have to get sick to your stomach! You have to beat your chest and cry out to God…’I won’t let you go til you bless me, Lord!’
And you gotta know that it is POSSIBLE to be delivered!
Deliverance started for me when I got wind of someone else’s story of being set free! My hearing a testimony of how someone else struggled with this and they got free…well, that fed my faith. That encouraged me to know that I didn’t have to stay bound by something I knew was wrong. That’s another thing…
You need to know, be convinced of, that homosexuality and lesbianism IS WRONG! It’s a sin. Now when I started this, I spread it all out on the table. I defined other sins and then homosexuality. If you can recall that scripture in 1 Corinthians 6, the Lord mentioned homosexuals three time in that list. Why?
I think He did it because He knew that there would be people who said, ‘Oh, well, u so busy picking homosexuals, but other ppl sinning out here, too! IN the church!’ Yes, they are. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
But…God repeats Himself for emphasis. God mentions it three times because he wanted to be clear that NO ONE who has participated in homosexual or lesbian behaviors or activities will enter into the KOG. Not even the little boys who were molested by their pastors. And this is sad, heartbreaking. Because it was no fault of your own. A grown up, someone who should have known better, took advantage of you…

I apologize to those of you who grew up in churches where the leaders or grown ups molested you. Or maybe it was your parents. Uncles, aunts, teachers, coaches. They planted corruptible seeds in you and now you are dealing with this. And not only have we as the church failed you in not confronting the issue when it began as a child, but we covered it up. We lied about it. We scolded you for telling the truth, so now you learned to lie. The grown ups who knew better left porn laying around the house, or maybe-like what happened to me-they showed you porn. Or got u involved with porn. They prostituted you…some in the church, some on the streets.
No matter how the seed was planted…I AM HERE TO TELL YOU!!!
YOU CAN BE DELIVERED!!!!!!!!

3) The Big Cover Up
I have already touched upon this. The fact of the matter is we need to be accountable for our actions, and hold others accountable as well. If someone in our chuches come to us with news of molestation, rape, or sexual abuse, we need to address it. Now how you choose to deal with it depends upon the offense: if this is repeated behavior on part of the abuser and they are unrepentant, then we need to OPENLY deal with that sin!
1 Corinthians 5:1-5
1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.
2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
We are not told to coddle repeated offenders/sinners who prey upon those we are responsible for. I was told while in ministerial training that we as ministers are mandated reporters of child abuse. What has happened? Are we no longer accountable to the laws of the land, because we want to save face in the face of other ministries and the public? Are we too ashamed to deal with our dirt? Let me tell you something, leader: for every gay or lesbian person in your church, that means there was a leader somewhere in their lifetime that refused to step up and be responsible for the care, the wholistic care, of that soul, of that child. Because someone abused that gay person, that lesbian SOMEWHERE in their lifetime! And they covered it iup!
I don’t understand why we as the black church (in particular) have a tendency to cover up such things that go on in our houses??
If you do not deal with that sin in its infancy, it will become a full grown monster in maturity!
Not saying homosexuals or lesbians are monsters. I am saying that the sin, that spirit in them, can become a stronghold in their life of monstrous proportions not because that spirit is so strong. Its because its been there, unchallenged, uncovered, fed and celebrated in society, in the media, in our schools, in our churches for SO LONG…the ‘strength’ of that spirit is only in the minds of the ones who are bound by it. It is not hormonal, or in DNA. IT IS LEARNED BEHAVIOR. And learned behavior -even though it can be a challenge-can be unlearned. Or one can learn new things, renew their minds.
And part of that renewal process is to KNOW THE TRUTH! The Word of God says YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You see, another form of lying is covering up sin. When we keep the truth from people, we are, in essence, lying to them. And religion has lied to many of the gay or lesbian population. YES! It has! How so?
So many in the pulpit make homosexuality and lesbianism out to be like the cohort of sins! The pinnacle of evil. Now, true, it is an abomination. The Word says so. But in the Kingdom of GOD, ALL abominations, ALL sin, ALL evil spirits, ALL principalities are subject to the KING! They have to bow at the name of JESUS!!!!! THERE IS NO SIN THAT THE BLOOD OF JESUS CANNOT ERASE!!!!!!
And most of these churches that have gone around ostracizing you have made you believe that you cannot be free. That’s why they call you names. That’s why they say things like ‘they can’t get free,’ ‘that’s a hard spirit,’ etc.
BUT THAT DEVIL IS A LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The WORD OF GOD says EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT JESUS IS LORD!!!!!!
It is possible to be delivered from homosexuality and lesbianism…in the Kingdom of GOD!
When you come across a church that preaches at you, calls you a fa****, a p***, and don’t want you there, I can almost guarantee that that is a religious church/system and you do best exiting left door as soon as possible anyways!!! Cuz all they’re gonna do is mess you up and make you a twofold more child of hell like them!!!
But once you come in contact with the KINGDOM, and hear the TRUTH, the TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE!!!
Do you see that? The Truth will MAKE u free! Not set you free. You are automatically made free by the truth!
This is why it is so important, Leaders, that we TELL THE TRUTH! Let’s not participate in another cover up. Not when it pertains to homosexuality. Or adultery. Or fornication. Or sexual abuse. Or knowledge that one of your ministerial staff is watching porn. DEAL WITH THAT SIN. IF YOU DON’T DEAL WITH IT, IT WILL TEAR YOUR CHURCH APART!!!!!! It may be humiliating to have to air out your own dirty laundry. But what’s worse? Airing out your own dirty laundry and being uncomfortable for a little while? Or being made whole, as a body, and healed???
4) Desensitization as a society
We are living in a society where we are constantly bombarded by sexual images, on tv. On the radio. Heck, just go to some of these churches, and these ppl dress like they’re going to a club! What can we as leaders do about that? Well, for starters, teach the ppl that how they dress IS important. What they choose to look at will feed the soul…and since a lot of whats on TV is nothing more than soft porn anyway, we have to tell the ppl to be really selective about what they watch-or allow their kids to watch. We gotta teach separation from the world; I know. It’s not popular. We were so busy trying to win the world, we became the world. When the scriptures clearly tells us we are NOT OF THE WORLD. And as a result of compromise, many are desensitized to blatant sexuality in the land. We no longer balk at sin, we wink at it. If we preach/teach too hard, we are called judgmental and legalistic. But we got to teach the Bible.
Teach the young ppl that if you listen to garbage, garbage is going to come out. Teach our children that even though the teachers say its ok to have two mommies or daddies, that that is NOT true. We got to get back to basics. Holiness may be an inside job, but if you feed our insides garbage, garbage is going to come out…sooner or later. That way, when the ppl do come in contact with blatant sexuality (and unfortunately in this day and time, they will) they will be able to withstand temptation. To the pure ALL things are pure…
Now before I end this, I want to address something that many won’t. The responsiblity of sin…that lies upon the male first, then the female. In my study here, I have seen that God holds the males MUCH more accountable for their sins-in particularly, sexual sin, than that of the women. Do I think this is fair? I don’t. God always seem to address the men first, no matter the sin or situation.
If the men hold that much responsibility, then that means its gonna be the men who are gonna have to lead the way, to initiate a mass deliverance of the abused and the sexually deviant in the church. I don’t know why it is this way. I do know that God set the man as the head of woman. So He deals with the man…first. And in some cases, more heavily, than the woman. Now, God does deal with the woman. She suffers as a result of sin. (TRUST ME, I KNOW!)
But God is a God of order.
Its almost like God knows that the men should know better, just like when we as parents have to deal with our children collectively for wrong doing. We always tend to deal with the older kids first. Why? Because they should know better.
So I speak from my heart to my brothers…
I can’t imagine what you have to deal with …being a man. But I know that you bear the burden of sin more heavily than us. God speaks to you. So I implore you to get it right with God, if you are caught up in any of these deviant behaviors. I am here to tell you that when YOU repent, when YOU get delivered, when YOU decide not to cover up sin anymore, YOUR WHOLE HOUSE, YOUR WHOLE CHURCH, YOUR WHOLE COMMUNITY, YOUR WHOLE REGION, NATION…WILL BE HEALED AND DELIVERED!!!!!!!!!
So LAZARUS, COME FORTH!!!

Why the surge in homosexuality and perversion in the pulpit? Part I

We all probably wonder from time to time (whether we will publicly admit it or not) WHY does there seem to be such a surgence-or resurgence- of homosexuality and perversion in the pulpit today.
Well, allow me to shed some light on a very dark subject, one that many in the pulpit are afraid to address and talk about. But before I do get into the reasons as to why this seems to be happening in record numbers, let’s look at the scriptures. Of course, there are other references to homosexuality in the Bible…12 in all. (Inbox me for the scriptures) I will attempt to dissect one of the scriptures so we can gain further insight into exactly who the scriptures are referring to and what behaviors will exclude one from getting into the Kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Now, I will define every ‘category’ of sinners mentioned here in this scripture…for our edification. I will use the Strong’s Concordance definition and the dictionary definition so that we are all clear on things.
Effeminate (Greek word malakos )
Strong’s Concordance: soft, soft to the touch; metaph. in a bad sense; effeminate; of a catamite (a boy or youth who is in sexual relationship with a man); of a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man; of a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness; of a male prostitute
Dictionary definition: Having feminine qualities untypical of a man : not manly in appearance or manner; marked by an unbecoming delicacy or overrefinement
(Sad to say, these little boys being molested and raped-if they are not healed and delivered from the spirits that were imparted unto them as a result of said molestation and rape, are in danger of not inheriting the Kingdom of God…)
Abusers of mankinds (Greek word arsenokoitēs:)
Strong’s Concordance: one who lies with a male as with a female, sodomite, homosexual
Dictionary/Practical definition: when a male engages in homosexual sexual activity, it is considered abuse of the man’s body. A male sex organ does not belong anywhere else but inside of a woman’s sex organ. (Excuse me for being graphic: I have to break it down and make it plain)
(This clearly means a practicing homosexual…)
Fornicators (Greek word pornos 
Strong’s Concordance: a man who prostitutes his body to another’s lust for hire; a male prostitute; a man who indulges in unlawful sexual intercourse
Dictionary definition: a fornicator; those who engage in consensual sexual intercourse and who are not married to each other
(It is funny, but the Word clearly addresses that homosexuals, male prostitues-men who give their bodies to men – or women – for the purpose of gain whether that be housing, ministry favor & support, love and attention, etc. will not inherit the KOG!)
Idolatrous (Greek word eidōlolatrēs:)
Stong’s Concordance: a worshipper of false gods, a idolater; used of any one even Christian, participant in any way in the worship of the heathen, esp. one who attends their sacrificial feasts and eats of the remains of offered victims; a covetous man as a worshipper of Mammon
Dictionary Definition: given to idolatry-the worship of a physical object as a god; immoderate attachment or devotion to something
(Yes, we all know we shouldn’t serve Buddha. But we have made gods of people, of doctrines, of preachers/ministries, of everything BUT God. According to the Word of God, idolatrous behavior can keep you out of the KOG…)
Adulterers (Greek word moichos:)
Strong’s Concordance: an adulterer; metaph. one who is faithless toward God, ungodly
Dictionary Definition: a person who commits adultery; especially : a man who commits adultery- voluntary sexual intercourse between a married man and someone other than his wife or between a married woman and someone other than her husband
(Spiritual adultery is right in there with idolatry, goes hand in hand. If you commit adultery, whether it be physical or spiritual, you will be denied access to the KOG)
Thieves (Greek word kleptēs:)
Strong’s Concordance: an embezzler, pilferer, or one who steals, especially in small quantities; the name is transferred to false teachers, who do not care to instruct men, but abuse their confidence for their own gain
Dictionary Defiinition: one that steals especially stealthily or secretly; also : one who commits theft or larceny
(People who steal -whether it be money, supplies, internet access, copier paper, retirement funds, prophecy offering lines, gimmicks that say sow into my minsitry and send all kinds of gadgets and what not, vows, telethons, etc…the Word of God calls them thieves. Now, listen. I am not saying it is thievery to tithe and give offerings. It is only thievery when you have these ministries that promise if you give them money, your healing’s coming, your deliverance, your minsitry, or that send you junk in the mail in exchange for your money…when they try to sell the blessings of God to you-as if you could buy a blessing!-then THAT is a thief! And they do it on the slick! Secretly! Not as a robber, who will outright in broad daylight by gunpoint demand ur purse, ur paycheck, etc! Don’t be deceived-these cats will not inherit the KOG!)
Covetous (Greek word pleonektēs:)
Strong’s: one eager to have more, esp. what belongs to others; greedy of gain, covetous
Dictionary: marked by inordinate desire for wealth or possessions or for another’s possessions; having a craving for possession
(Man! How many of the ppl in church want more? Just go to service next Sunday and listen, listen to the praise and worship leader. Listen to the pastor, everyone who grabs the mike is always talking about getting more STUFF! Wanting more stuff. And I hear ppl saying there is nothing wrong with wanting more than what we have, when the Word clearly states if you have clothes and food to be content! It is the covetous who fall for thieves, cuz they are the main ones in the offering lines giving up their rent money, the medication money, their child support, their lite bill money because they covet that big name preacher’s house, car, church bldg., his bling, his swag, whatever you want to call it. The Word says if you a little too hooked on wanting stuff then you won’t be getting into the KOG)
Drunkards (Greek word methysos:)
Strong’s: drunken, intoxicated
Dictionary: one who is habitually drunk
(Now we get on the whino in the bar, but we give checks to those who can’t stay off the heroin! Let me tell you something: drunkards also covers the drug addicted as well! To be drunk means to be intoxicated, inebriated…to be in a state of mental confusion, to be exhilrated, to confuse. Depending upon which drug you are talking about, there are drugs out there that do all of that…and more! So guess what? If you getting high, even if by the chronic, you won’t be making it into the Kingdom…sorry!)
Revilers (Greek word loidoros:)
Strong’s: railers, revilers
Dictionary: those who use abusive language, basically, one who curses people out
(Ok. Revilers…well, revilers are not partygoers like we were taught in the holiness church. I can understand why they told us this: it is at these parties where most people are prone to get drunk, high, sexed up, turned out, stolen from…just about anything! Revilers are people who curse people out or use very abrasive, harsh language! Hmmm. ‘Well, I am saved, but I still have slip of the tongue every now and then…’ If you do, no Kingdom for you!)
Extortioners (Greek word harpax:)
Strong’s: rapacious (greedy, given to seizing your property), ravenous; robbers
Dictionary: those who practice extorting, especially money or other property; extort: to obtain from a person by force, intimidation, or undue or illegal power : wring; also : to gain especially by ingenuity or compelling argument
(The opposite of extortioners are thieves…extortioners will come out and just rob you, in your face. They will tell you they are taking your money, your man, your woman, your ministry, etc…and then DO IT! Most of the time, those who extort are those who are in authority over you and feel they can take your stuff…and there ain’t a thing you can do about it! A Board of Trustees can practice extortion by wrestling a church out of the hands of the pastor. When the preacher steals a wife from a member. When leadership demands you pay dues, tithes, offerings, etc or they will kick you out of their fellowship, membership, organization, etc. These are all forms of extortion…and guess what? You got it!).
Now that I have went into explaining the various sins mentioned in this scripture, I will attempt to answer the question I opened up with: why am I taking this route? Well, it is funny when you go into an exhaustive study of the scriptures; God will begin to show you things you didn’t see before, things you thought you knew but God turns around and gives you another revelation on things! I LOVE GOD for that!
Also, I don’t want homosexuals to feel I am singling them out of hate or repudiation. If the scriptures speak on it, I have to address it. It’s that simple. I walk in love not because I share what people want to hear: I love you when I tell the truth, as the scriptures says.

This article provides a very practical reason why you should leave the organized church. Various pastors are already being prepped to play a significant role in endtimes—a role that suggests to me that the organized church will become a part of the New World Order.
As such, it is no wise to have your name on church rolls.
It is quite interesting that I was sent this article a week or so AFTER I had a significant dream in the spring of 2011. I have never been one to read the news or to watch it on TV. However, what I need to know often comes to me in unique ways.
Notice the year the article was published. 2006. It is not a recent article. It seems the press has not reported on FEMA and the pastors in recent years. At least I was unaware of this info until someone sent the article to me this past spring.
In the dream, I was in my dwelling. First, I watched the TV scramble, thwn the web go down, then the water back up in the sink and it was filled with sewage. Yet I do not know if the electricity was completely off because the dream occurred in the bright of day and I did not try the electrical sockets.
I went outside and there was this goon squad outside my door. They were Caucasian, and they were “foreign.” I would say “Nordic” looking. They had foreign accents. Across the street there was a large church. In truth, there is no church within miles of where I live. In the dream, the people were slowly filing into this church , not for a worship service but it seemed the church was in control of food and water and “other things.” The people were lined up like they were standing outside of a soup kitchen or they were there to be inoculated.
I asked one of the goon’s if the local markets were opened. He gave me a wry, mocking grin and said “No, go back inside. We have things under control here.”
One other important thing.
In the dream, there was no local police. It seemed that “the goon squad” was in charge. In the dream, I was shown how long it would be before these things would happen. I was given a range of years. Any where from now to the year 2015, martial law will begin in this country.
Is the dream from God?
I don’t know.
All I know is that it was NOT from ME! It is either from God or the devil.
There are other things that were in this dream that I am not at liberty to repeat at this time. I will simply say that by December 2012, I will know if this dream is from the Lord.
In the meantime, I am stocking up on food and water. It won’t hurt. I can always give the surplus away. Better safe than sorry.
You are probably wondering why Pam Sheppard Ministries is pushing out several articles a day.
One main reason. Time is short. We don’t anticipate that the web will be a resource after 2015. We hope it will be here and that my dream was NOT from the Lord. However, there was nothing in the dream that suggested that the devil sent it. If he did, then his motive was fear. I am not afraid. I simply say “Come Lord Jesus!” My faith has not wavered but it has increased. I am a survivor. An overcomer. My Lord told me to “fear not,” and I am His obedient servant.
Therefore, I fear not!
I am also not a “Harold Camping.” I don’t say God told me this or that before I know for sure. I believe in trying the spirits to see if they be of God. I will know by December 2012.
Jezebel – Prophets of Baal

I have seen a lot of people speaking on Jezebel. A LOT. We are to study to show ourselves approved. So it is commendable that more are grasping the reality of the existence of Jezebel in the local church assembly and in leadership, in particular.
But I think that the jury is out on how many people realize that Jezebel-as formidable a spirit as she is-serves another god, a god that is blindly being served, worshipped and honored in many pulpits and altars today.
The GOD of BAAL.
The Spirit of Baal is an ancient spirit. Baal means ‘master,’ ‘owner’ or ‘lord.’ People were celebrating the god Baal as far back as the 14,000 years before Christ was born. Most of the Baal worshippers were the descendents of the oldest son of Noah, Shem. Baal was the god of fertility, lands, cattle, rain, prosperity, and the harvest.
To make a long story short, the Israelites constantly fell into idol worship of Baal time and time again because they wouldn’t trust God for their daily needs-especially in the scary, rocky, and hard times. Even though God had told them to not serve other gods but to trust Him to supply every need-day by day, the Israelites time and time again fell into idol worship and spiritual adultery. They would forget what God had done for them and would go ‘whoring’ after other gods….mainly Baal. Baal was mostly a Canaanite god. Canaan was Israel’s ‘Promised Land.’
Reminds you of any times today?
In the midst of yet another recession, a LOT of people have strayed away from trusting God TOTALLY for their daily bread, in Jehovah Jireh to provide all their needs. They don’t see manifestations of God as often as they would like, so they doubt his Presence today. They have forgotten their testimony and gone whoring after the gods of prosperity, relationships/marriages, children/having babies/baby worship, idol worship of man, even after ministries.
Remember in the Word, Jezebel’s prophets ….they were called ‘Prophets of Baal.’ They had a ‘ministry,’ too.
And just as Queen Jezebel was seeking and recruiting for her company of Prophets of Baal, so it is NOW that the Spirit of Jezebel is recruiting for people to worship her god, Baal.
In order for her to be successful in her recruitment efforts, Jezebel has to get you to come to her ‘recruitment centers,’ just like an army recruiter has to have those who are interested in enlisting into the Army to come to their recruitment office. These recruitment centers are called ‘churches.’ Some of them are more specific, and are labeled ‘Schools of the Prophets’ or ‘Schools of the Apostles,’ maybe even ‘ministerial school.’
The Qualifications for acceptance into a Baal Recruitment Center:
1) You have to be weak minded
2) You cannot know your TRUE identity, and be willing to take on another identity.
3) You have to be ambitious.
4) You have to be willing to put man before God.
5) You have to be prideful.
These are the basic foundational elements that a potential Baal worshipper must possess to be recruited into one of these Baal Recruitment Centers.
I was there. I once was a part of the ‘system’ known as Babylon, the Baal Recruitment Center. I was very zealous towards the things of God, but very naive about the capacity for flesh to simply let you down. The following is an acceptance letter into one of the most prestigious ministerial schools in the country, the Potter’s House School of Ministry.
So it took me getting abused over and over again by the system before I got ‘a revelation’ that it was time for us (my children and I) to COME OUT from among JEZEBEL, her recruitment centers, and her god BAAL and BE SEPARATE!!!
That was my FIRST STEP into deliverance from Jezebel and all influences of Baal.
My deliverance has been progressive; as I take one more step towards victory, I share it. Why?
Because it is my desire to see others FREE from Jezebel’s and Baal’s grasp.

I knew probably about 6 years ago I had been contending with a religious spirit, but just didn’t how to do so effectively. What Is a Jezebel Spirit?

I don’t particularly like the name. From a psychological perspective, the Jezebel spirit is a personality type. It is called narcissistic personality disorder. You cannot “cast out” someone’s personality. Personality transformation is a renewal of the mind over time, a part of the deliverance counseling process. However, from a spiritual perspective, the Jezebel “spirit” is simply a religious demon or a religious spirit. I called my third book “Faces of the Religious Demon,” because there practically countless ways that this demon manifests itself. In the book, I present cases or profiles that were like “faces” or various facets of this demon.
There are people with religious demons who are tormented either with hearing voices, fears of having committed the unpardonable sin or of going to hell as well constantly are bombarded by blasphemous thoughts. Some can’t even read their bibles out loud or silently. I recall a case where a captive could only read a pocket bible for fear that a demon would use her arm to pound her in the head with a hardcover, and possibly sustain a concussion.

So it is easy to embrace a quick-fix simply to relieve or stop the torment. Most workers simply attempt to cast out demons as a means to remove ALL of a person’s bondages. It never really works. I have found that setting captives free who have a spirit of religiosity in any form, involves more than simply driving out the demons.
There are usually various strongholds to be torn down. Since strongholds are incorrect thinking patterns, this is done through the renewing of the captive’s mind according to the Word of God. As the Lord said “you can’t put new wine into old wineskins or it will break. You can’t put a new patch of cloth on an old garment or it will tear, and you certainly cannot serve 2 masters, or you will hate the deliverance worker and love the preachers and teachers who are a significant yet hidden cause of your captivity.
The purpose of deliverance is to gain freedom from any hindrances in your life that would keep you from walking in the fullness of God’s plan for your life and your relationship with Him. Remarkably to some, it is often habitual religiosity that is the most difficult stronghold to overcome, even stronger than an addiction to alcohol or drugs because religion and “going to church” is culturally engrained and is therefore considered “the right thing to do.” It takes much time and patience to free captives from religion or a deceptive form of spirituality–a form of godliness that denies the power thereof.

The bottomline is that I cannot work with a “religious captive” who continues to go to church, feed from the tables of either deceived or false prophets, and who is praying to a fake god. Therefore I mandate that while involved in deliverance counseling or mentoring with Sheppard’s Counseling Center, the captive must cease and desist from all religious activity. Old things must pass away so that all things can become new.

For built into the soul of such a one is a strength of will that hinders a captive so afflicted, to be able to submit to the will of God. YES, THEY DO!
What is a seducing spirit?
When we hear the word ‘seduce,’ we think of soap operas where a man seduces a woman into the bed. Or vice versa. We always think of it in a sensual way.
That is part of what a seducing spirit really is.
1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils..
The Greek word for seduce used in this verse is ‘planos,’ which means ‘misleading, leading into error, imposter, corrupter, deceiver’
The whole essence of seduction is that it is done through the five senses. We can be seduced by what we 1) SEE, what we 2) HEAR, what we 3) TOUCH, what we 4) TASTE, and what we 5) SMELL.
The lie and the deception that man is tempted with always is done in the realm of our senses. In our soulish realms.
The question is…can seducing spirits exist IN THE CHURCH?
You better believe it!
How?
Because today, Christianity has become-for the most part-very sensual. Any attempt to access the spirit is done by way of our senses, and when this occurs, we open up ourselves to the demonic instead of the divine.
And the spirit that seduces (or ministers) to many in the church is solely RELIGIOUS in nature!
Don’t believe me?
How many people do you know go to a church because of the music ministry? A slamming music ministry appeals to the NATURAL sense of HEARING.
How many people do you know go to a ‘seeker-friendly’ church? One where they are made to FEEL right at home? A ‘feel good’ church appeals to the NATURAL sense of TOUCHING/FEELING. (if only a touching in a ‘psuedo-spiritual’ sense)
How many of you know someone who has said to you ‘I gotta go to a church that is clean, or where the interior is designed just right…’ or ‘When I go to church, it must look like THIS or THAT…’? Appeals to the NATURAL sense of SEEING.
Let’s face it. Most of the people who go to church go to their church for carnal, fleshly, soulish, sensual reasons.
The religious demons KNOW THIS, so that’s how they mimic a move of God, a touch of God, a word from God and package it so that it comes to you through ONE of the FIVE senses that appeals to FLESH.
And once the bait is bitten, YOU HAVE BEEN SEDUCED!!!!!!
The church has little knowledge when it comes to understanding demonic seduction by religious demons. Religious demons are in full control of the organized church. These seducing spirits have imbedded themselves into the very walls and pulpits of the organized church. Seducing spirits live in the organized church, inside their human hosts, and they are quite comfortable there.
No church is exempt!
These seducing spirits, in the form of the religious demon, will not budge and members have quite happily invited them in.
How?
The demand has been for a church that appeals to man’s senses. And all this is-the whole matter of religious demons seeped into the very foundations of these monuments and idols we call churches-is THE DEVIL giving man what they desire, what they demand more of.
Seducing spirits, in the form of religious demons, have taken up office in the organized church.
Religious demons crept into the organized church and every last person, down to the preacher, was just plain unaware, thinking all the time what they are experiencing is a move of God.
The organized church doesn’t want to know a thing about seducing spirits. They show no interest, and couldn’t give a hoot about a seducing spirit takeover in the form of the religious demon. Why? Because they themselves are now hosting religious demons within themselves.
What does a seducing spirit in the form of the religious demon do, how do we define their brand of demonic seduction?

In part 1, I went into detail of what a seducing spirit is, how it may manifest in a church, and in an individual.
Here in part 2, I want to share with you that this seducing spirit-which is nothing more than a deceptive one-CAN also manifest in the form of spiritual abuse by leaders in the church system.
Church abuse from pastors and members is the DIRECT result of seducing spirits. Seducing spirits, in the form of religious demons, have taken up office in the organized church.
Another manifestation of a seducing spirit is the presence of abuse within a church system, whether it be physical, sexual, emotional, mental, financial or spiritual in nature.
The ULTIMATE seduction is the seducing-or deceiving-of one into believing a LIE.
Then once someone believes the lie, that person is capable of almost committing ANY crime, ANY act…no matter how reprehensible or horrendous!
This is how sexual and physical abuse has seemingly been on the increase in the organized church. (It really is just more people are coming out and telling their horror stories of how they have been abused by the church system)
Have you ever wondered why abuse is SO rampant within the four walls of the church? It is a very real reality for many people in bondage to the churches. They feel like they cannot leave, so they stay and endure YEARS of torment and abuse, thinking that they are serving God by serving their pastors and their respective churches.
Why do pastors sexually abuse children in church?
Why do rapists, adulterers, thieves, liars and the like, feel quite cozy and content in church buildings?
Why do leaders in the church physically, emotionally, spiritually and sexually abuse their wives..and encourage other men in the church to do the same? Even to the point of murdering them!
Why do so-called ‘saints’ in these churches emotionally and verbally abuse one another? Doesn’t the Word say that the WORLD will know we belong to Christ Jesus if we have LOVE ONE for THE OTHER?

Even Pam Sheppard attests to the fact, and wrote an article describing the heavy abuse she suffered under superiors, during her 30 year appointment as the pastor of her church. Creepy repulsive, spiritual and physical church abuse by those inhabited by seducing spirit/religious demons is a reality. It is a reality for every organized church member no matter their station.
The organized church is full of silly foolish parents who leave children in the care of church workers. These naive parents haven’t got a clue. Every church worker should undergo background checks before working with children. Seducing spirits in the form of religious demons may enter workers regardless. But the fact that churches are so relaxed, that any Tom, Dick or Sally can care for precious children is a sign. A sign of what? A sign that somebody in leadership doesn’t give a hoot, and may just be an abuser themselves. To top if off, seducing spirits are experts at leaving open doors for trauma and abuse to occur.
The organized church is an abuse magnet. All one has to do is recite the unholy, abominable ” I accept Jesus” sinners prayer, or the unholy and extra abominable, ” I invite Jesus into my heart prayer” which ushers in a specific demon , who proceeds to immediately wreck hellish havoc in your life. All one has to do, in addition to reciting these unscriptural prayers, is throw money at the church. Then suddenly you’re a member of said organized church. Some people are just not saved. Some people are housing seducing spirits, religious demons. If they recited any of the above prayers, it’s almost a given.
No one checks new members out to see if they show fruits of righteousness. Therefore you get child molesters, rapists, thieves, controlling abusers mixing in with everyone else. Such have no intention of changing their ways, and some go on to be church leaders. Just look at pastors like Terry Hornbuckle of Texas, a disciple of TD Jakes, who was drugging and raping several women in his church.
Having said all of the above, once we are truly saved, that which we suffered is a faint memory. The anguish, emotional pain and anger of a child or an adult whose been in bondage to creepy abominable church abuse, is no match for the healing balm of the Savior.

Slain in the Spirit, Part 1

Slain: people who have been slain, dead, killed.
We all have heard the phrase ‘slain in the spirit.’ A preacher lays hands on someone-or sometimes not-and then the people fall to the ground, out in somewhat of a ‘trance,’ supposedly by way of the Holy Ghost.
While ‘slain in the spirit,’ it is said that the people in a trance are hearing from God…that God is delivering that person from afflictions or bondages of all kinds. So this practice has been accepted, along with all its various forms.
The word ‘trance’ is not used often in the Bible, a total of 5 times. The last time is in the Book of Acts 22:17, when God instructed the Apostle Paul to leave Jerusalem.
The Greek word for trance used here is ‘ekstasis,’ which means ‘a throwing of the mind out of its normal state, alienation of mind, whether such as makes a lunatic or that of a man who by some sudden emotion is transported as it were out of himself, so that in this rapt condition, although he is awake, his mind is drawn off from all surrounding objects and wholly fixed on things divine that he sees nothing but the forms and images lying within, and thinks that he perceives with his bodily eyes and ears realities shown him by God; amazement, the state of one who, either owing to the importance or the novelty of an event, is thrown into a state of blended fear and wonderment.’
The word ‘ekstasis’ is where we get the word ‘Ecstasy’ today.
As we all know, the drug Ecstasy. Ecstasy is a drug that elevates the mood. It is used at parties called ‘raves’ where kids take it so that they can party for up to two to three days. Users of the drug say that it produces profoundly positive feelings, empathy for others, elimination of anxiety, and extreme relaxation.
Or in other words, they are placed in a trance, that is self-induced.
In the Christian world, these trance-like states are said to be moments of prayer and meditation, probably based upon the cases in the Bible where people were in trances. People have reported receiving messages and special revelations ‘from God’ while under these ‘self-induced’ trances. But I would like to point out that in every case where Balaam, Paul, and Peter were in a trance, the Bible says they were either praying and/or fell into a trance.
The instances in the Word where they were in a trance, in the Old Testament, the Word says that Balaam ‘fell’ into a trance. In the instances of Peter and Paul, the Word says they were in prayer before being in a trance.
In both instances, in the Old and New Testament, the trances were brought on by the WILL OF GOD. They were NOT self-induced trances brought on by the will of man.
It is safe to say that the ‘slain in the spirit’ movement is a movement self-induced by the hands and will of man.
They are man’s yet another attempt to get close to and in communion with God, instead of trusting and relying upon THE HOLY GHOST to give the unction and initiate it.
Whenever we step into the realm of trying to ‘make something happen’-even if it’s get in communion with God, or to hear from God-we fall into the arena of error and deception that the enemy can EASILY imitate.
The instances of being in a trance (in the Bible) that were induced by the hand of God are OF GOD.
The instances of being in a trance (in the modern day churches today) where someone in ‘slain in the spirit’ are-for the most part-NOT OF GOD.
How can I say that?
Because anything that is not initiated in the genuine SPIRIT OF GOD BY THE WILL OF GOD is of the devil.
People who are ‘slain in the spirit’ are always done so by the motion of someone’s hands or by the direct laying on of hands. Nowhere in the Bible do we ever see an account where someone is ‘slain in the spirit.’
And when you have people open up themselves to the things that are (seemingly) of the spirit that is induced by the hands of men, those people are opening up themselves to the demonic realm.
Tell me: why would someone knowingly open up themselves to something ungodly and demonic-yet they say they are ‘seeking after God’ or ‘wanting to hear a word from God?’
Most of the time, most people who allow themselves to be ‘slain in the spirit’ do so ignorantly, not knowing what they are allowing into their spirits. I can tell you…having been saved over 20 years-and actively in ministry for over 5-I have seen plenty of cases where some were slain in the spirit. I MYSELF have been ‘slain in the spirit.’ And in just about every case, either myself or the others who I knew who had hands laid on them and they were ‘slain in the spirit’ got up off the floor WORSE OFF then what they were before!
If you want to know the benefits of something (in the Spirit), you have to take time to examine the FRUIT OF IT. And fruit does not just automatically pop up out of the ground or on the tree. Even Jesus gave the fig tree ample time to bear fruit (the average life expectancy of the fig tree is hundreds of years) in Matthew 21 before He decreed it to wither up and die due to fruitlessness. So it takes time to wait, watch and see if the fruit of various things that we have allowed in the Body of Christ will be good or bad.
If no fruit is yielded-or bad fruit is borne out of it-then clearly that means it was NOT OF GOD.
And whatever is not of God eventually leads to death. So it is with being ‘slain in the Spirit.’
In Pam Sheppard’s book, “Come Out of Her, God’s People,” Pam mentions that there is a specific agenda of the enemy to get masses of people in trances, as well as goes into detail as to why that is so.

In ‘Slain in the Spirit, Part 1,’ I went into detail of what happens when one is slain in the spirit and how it lines up-or does not line up-with the scripture.
We talked about how one is actually in a ‘trance’ when slain in the Spirit and can open themselves to the demonic.
The following is an article written by Pam Sheppard that further explains WHY the ENEMY is wanting more and more people to take part of this ‘slain in the spirit’ phenomena.

THE ALTERED STATE IS A HYPNOTIC TRANCE
Among my faithful Facebook friends is a cadre of serious believers who continually share YouTube video clips, blogtalkradio programs, and various articles that dramatically portray how the enemy has infiltrated the Christian community with a variety of occult, even blasphemous doctrines and practices. To name but a few, the list is long: the Joel’s Army movement is at the top of the list because it encompasses It ALL!!
Then there is yoga, the kundalini spirit, TM, people running around the church looking like they are literally on fire, alien encounters, astral travel, slain in the spirit, the laughter and dancing movements, (I refuse to call them ‘holy’), tongue prayer languages,—the list seems almost endless. In fact, even charismatic sermonizing has caused people to become hysterical, breaking loose in church aisles, appearing to have lost their minds.
Yet, there are even stranger things going on that are a lot less public. As an example, in my Christian telephone counseling practice of 10 years, I have come in contact with Christians from around the world who are constantly “hearing voices” yet they are not mentally ill. In 10 years, I have been in contact with lots of churchgoers. Among them are people who thought that they were saved, but after careful consideration, they ultimately admitted that they were not—yet—they had spoken in tongues and had often submitted themselves to falling slain in the spirit in various charismatic churches.
Ministers laid hands on many of them to receive what is colloquially known as “an impartation.” When they began to be tormented in one way or the other, most of them sought help from deliverance ministries, yet their condition worsened. In fact, 75% of my Christian client contacts were hearing voices when they telephoned me for help—all of them were active and faithful church members. Some of them I could help, some of them, I could not, for one reason or another.
One thing that all of these strange happenings have in common is the altered state of consciousness, better known as “the trance.” With that ONE common denominator, I decided to “investigate” by examining a plethora of occult websites, to see what devils and demons were openly revealing to their faithful followers. In other words, “I spied out the land.” I figured that even though Satan and his troops lie to their followers, they might reveal something to them that they persevere to hide from true followers of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Believe me, it was a disgusting and dangerous assignment , so I do not recommend others do what I did. The blasphemy against the Lord is horrendous and those who are weak in faith might be victimized, even indoctrinated.
As a result of a year’s work, I believe that I have uncovered Satan’s overall agenda which ties into why the altered state of consciousness—the trance– plays such a pivotal role in bringing about what the Anti-Christ intends to do. I have written about this subject in 4 of my 6 books: Faces of the Religious Demon, the Fake Jesus, Come Out of Her God’s People, and the New Idolatry. However, if you are not into Christian non-fiction, then here it is in a nutshell:
The devils and demons have told their followers that “the World Master” plans to introduce himself to all mankind through what appears to be telepathic communication. Therefore, these spirit entities have been feverishly working in our times to cause people to be able to enter into a trance–an ASC—so that the voice of the Anti-Christ can be heard.
With occult followers, it is an easy thing to do because they willingly put themselves into trances by meditation, yoga, chanting, channeling, astral travel, drugs, etc. With the people in the world, they enter into trances through sex, drugs, movies, etc. So the enemy had to devise ways to open doorways in Christians so that “we too will be able to hear the voice of the Anti-Christ.” Satan is seeking for mankind to lose themselves in an altered state of consciousness so as to provide an open doorway for demons to “walk in” when the time is right.
What I learned on the occult websites is that the Anti-Christ is going to attempt to pull a global stunt where EVERYONE hears the voice of a stranger, saying the exact same thing at the exact same time. In this way, the son of perdition intends to prove “that he is God” because he will appear to be both omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent–manifesting the qualities of God Almighty. However, the only ones who will be able to hear his voice, will be those who have been opened to “the trance.”
I was once, one of those people. In the 70′s, I was a psychic medium. An opened door to it ALL OF IT. Once I got saved on March 29,1977, all occult doorways were shut down. However, in 1982, I reopened them by heeding to the doctrines and the practices of the charismatic movement. For 25 years, I heard from religious demons, mostly in dreams and sometimes audibly, believing that I was hearing from the Holy Ghost. When the Lord opened my blind eyes to the truth, I shut down ALL of it: tongues, slain in the spirit, the laughter, the travail in the spirit—I MEAN ALL OF IT. I put up a spiritual blockade over my mind at night, that protects me from remembering what demons try to tell me in dreams. When God speaks to me now, I don’t feel ANYTHING. I simply “know things.” After a day or so I realize, “Oh, the Holy Ghost was here. Imagine that!”

Fallen angels stand by, patiently watching and waiting for their churchgoing prey to allow themselves to be induced into an altered state of consciousness by “any means necessary.” One they spot an opening, the religious angels seize the opportunity. The most classic example is that of Alice Bailey, the infamous founder of present day occultism. A churchgoing woman, Bailey is actually the founder of what is known today as “the occult.” Most startling is that Alice Bailey began as a Sunday School Teacher in a Presbyterian church (see how this former Sunday School teacher helped to promote the introduction to the New World Order).

Spiritual Deception, Sin and the Born Again Christian

CAN A BORN AGAIN PERSON SIN?
According to the Apostle John in I John 3: 9, the answer to that question is “NO!” The scripture reads: “Whosoever is born of God doth not sin; for his seed remaineth in him; and he CANNOT sin, because he is born of God.” Yet, John also wrote in the first chapter of his epistle that “if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us of ALL unrighteousness.” (I John 1:7-9)
John certainly seems to be contradicting himself on this subject of whether or not a born again person CAN or is ABLE to sin, BUT HE IS NOT. In the first chapter, I believe that John is saying that if a person sins, but then says he has not sinned,—in other words, deceives himself by rationalizing his behavior–then the truth is not in him because he has grieved the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Truth. Once the sinning Christian comes to his senses, the thing for him to do is to confess it, and he or she will be both forgiven and cleansed. What Chapter 3 suggests is that since a born again believer CANNOT sin, the only way he CAN, IS TO DECEIVE HIMSELF!!!!
Of one thing I am sure. I am born again. Of another thing I am sure. In 34 years as a Christian, I have sinned. So I know full well that a born again person CAN sin. When I look on those occasions where I sinned, deception was key. The only way that I could sin was “to deceive myself.” In each case, I convinced myself that God was in accord with my behavior. Therefore, I was out of touch with my spirit, where the seed is. That “seed” is the Holy Ghost. I grieved and quenched the Holy Ghost and consequently, I had no conviction because I believed that I was right. It is not built into my personality to receive accusation and to convict myself, so the enemy rarely accuses me of anything because it does not work.
One of the ways to make sure that we overcome sin is to learn how to discern the difference between the rebuke of your own conscience as led by the Holy Ghost from the accusation of the religious demon that is assigned to you.

I have a religious demon assigned to me. The day I preached my trial sermon, a picture was taken of me in the church, posing beside the piano. Standing to my left, you can see a huge head of a gargoyle, outlined in green. Anyone who desires to see that picture, let me know. So I have seen the religious fallen angel that is assigned to me. However, for years, I convinced myself that the evil-looking entity in the photo was the church’s demon and that it was not in the picture because of me. No, it is assigned to me. Anyway, learning how to differentiate between the reprimand of the Holy Spirit and the accusation of the evil spirit assigned to us is a key factor in overcoming sin. Since there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, if accusation persists once a born again believer has repented, it is NOT the Holy Ghost. He never reproves further, once the sin is cleansed by the precious blood because you have forsaken it.
According to Watchman Nee in “the Spiritual Man,” born again persons commit fatal blunders when we think that because we are saved, our spirits can only be controlled by the Holy Ghost and not ALSO by the enemy. (pg 57) The Holy Ghost is a helper, not a controller. Once He is either quenched or grieved, He will “back off.” When He retreats, the enemy comes in full force with counterfeits of His presence. This is why so many true believers remain in sin for too long. Actually, the practice of the sin of spiritual fornication, aka idolatry–goes un-noticed, with the believer completely unaware of his or her spiritual condition.
In fact, I found it a lot easier to overcome physical fornication than spiritual fornication. I believe that every committed churchgoer is a spiritual fornicator. My spiritual fornication endured and dominated most of my “born again” life for more than two decades. In this regard, I am certainly not alone. However, I am among the very few who have been un-deceived.
And why IS that?
Well, my self-deception began to gradually fade away due to the book, “War on the Saints,” by Jessie Penn Lewis. I read it and “I saw my charismatic, religious self.” But it took time regarding my pet spiritual fallacies. I reasoned, “Jessie can’t be right about this or about that! Then one day, I caught the deceiver in a lie. My eyes started to open. So I prayed, “Lord, if there is any darkness around me, please expose it.” In days, all hell began to periodically break loose. Yet, with each un-veiling, I became increasingly “un-deceived,” as my spiritual house came tumbling down like a row of stacked dominoes.
When the Holy Ghost is unable to rebuke us in our spirits because of our self deception, the demons assigned to us begin to toss us about, to and fro. The enemy takes much pleasure in mocking God’s people. I can remember how I found myself mocked in every sphere, from finances to family, from friends to foe, from fallacy to faith, the demons assigned to me had themselves a good ole time! Yet once I asked the Lord to “show me the darkness,” I ended up putting the demons on the run!
I’ll end this article with the first statement and the first step to becoming a believer who “cannot sin.”
STATEMENT #1 Born again believers CANNOT sin until we FIRST submit ourselves to self-deception.
Step #1 Go to the Father and sincerely ask Him in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth:,
“Lord, if there is any darkness around me, please expose it.”
If you are sincere, get ready for a wake-up call that will knock your spiritual socks off!!!

We all remember the movie, ‘The Exorcist’ with the child actor Linda Blair, right? In this film, the young girl is possessed by demons and two priests die trying to conduct what is called an exorcism on her, which is supposed to be the Catholic church’s ‘version’ of deliverance.
Though this film was introduced and released in a time in the late 60s and early 70s when it was popular to do so regarding demonic activity (and grossed over $400 million), I found this film accurately depicts what goes on in many churches and deliverance sessions in many ministries TODAY. Yes, I know that many Protestant ministries boast to be into ‘deliverance.’ And while no one (not that I have known of anyways) has actually died while trying to do deliverance, I can attest to the fact that much which has been termed ‘deliverance,’ just like exorcisms that became popular through the Catholic church, have NOT been successful.
It is with this in mind that I recommend THE BEST book I have EVER read on Christian demons, commonly referred to as ‘religious spirits’ or ‘religious demons.’
‘Faces of the Religious Demon’ by Pam Sheppard breaks down for the believer the many manifestations of the religious spirit. I have maintained for years that religious spirits often masks themselves into being holy and from God when-in actuality-they are NOT. The Word speaks of religious spirits when it says they have ‘a form of godliness’ but deny the power thereof.
Read this excerpt from ‘Faces of a Religious Demon:’
“The main purpose of this book is to unmask the true nature of the warfare as it pertains to exposing religious counterfeits. Counterfeits come disguised like faces covered with various masks. Each face of the religious demon offers new insights and new challenges because of the various façades that human beings unconsciously employ as defense mechanisms in order to maintain pretenses. Since the flesh is naturally adept at self deception, demons use human innate weaknesses as an entrance or “doorway” to mix their own brand of deception with the self deception of the captive. Consequently, the demonic face hides behind the captives own persona, making exposure problematic. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life within the captive’s natural carnality provides a convenient cover to the unseen forces where demons will hide within.”
It is my heartfelt conviction that the ‘doorway’ that the religious spirit is allowed to enter into a person is through any form of putting up fronts, any attempts to deceive others into thinking that a person is one thing when-in fact-they are something else, and just plain old hypocrisy. When a churchgoer, a pastor, a bishop, an apostle, ANYONE is not true to THEMSELVES and to OTHERS AROUND THEM about who they really are-whether or not they realize that’s what they’re doing or not-they are inviting a religious spirit to dwell in them.
And as we all know, religious spirits are diabolical…and potentially VERY DANGEROUS. Apostle Jonas Clark says in ‘Overcoming the Religious Spirit’ that the religious spirit will try to kill your ministry…that they are very dangerous. And I am sure many of us have come in contact with religious spirits. I myself was physically attacked on Thanksgiving Day by a religious spirit who tried to kill me by trying to choke me to death! (He was only able to do so because I admit I failed to discern he had a religious spirit because he did NOT go to church. So don’t be fooled: a religious spirit does NOT just reside inside a church building!)
The religious spirit is NOTHING to play with!
This is why I am SO glad Pam has written ‘Faces of a Religious Demon.’ Because as we walk in this journey, the Lord will reveal to us yet even another form of godliness, yet even ANOTHER face of a christian (or religious) demon that we have NOT encountered before. And they can reside IN or OUT of the church!
We must be prepared!
Not to invoke fear or anything, but simply to warn.
If you are not equipped BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD and operating in KEEN DISCERNMENT in this hour…you can be conducting demonic deliverance (like there is such a thing-maybe the better phrase is INEFFECTIVE deliverance) of a Christian demon! And just like those priests in ‘The Exorcist’ who lost their lives trying to ‘exorcise’ a demon, just like the 7 sons of Sceva who tried to conduct deliverance in the Book of Acts and was not only unsuccessful-but utterly humiliated…we can suffer damage, bodily or spiritual harm and even be killed if we aren’t equipped to deal with christian/religious spirits properly.

A python spirit is a spirit of divination as portrayed in Acts 16:16, the woman who foretold who the Apostles were. Even though she told the truth, Paul cast that demon from her. He was grieved,
Only the Holy Ghost knows how many in Christendom who claim to be prophets by declaring , “thus saith the Lord,” or “God told me,” or “I was led in the spirit”—are really the messengers of Satan sent to control your life in God by the python spirit. Today, in the 21st century, churches are filled with soothsayers and charismatic hype masters whose message from the pulpit is merely a gratification of the flesh. There is a seductive spirit of divination sweeping across churches of all persuasions, seeking to control the lives of the un-suspecting. Laity leaders serve as divination foot-soldiers,forearmed “with a word” to maintain the power and authority of those in the pulpits. Demons help out also as they whisper into congregant’s ears, “give a $1000 dollars.”
I can recall that one of my associates, Minister Kellie, completely delivered depression in record time by the power of God, was approached by a member of her former church. Although Kellie’s progress is quite remarkable, the former church member approached her with a “thus saith the Lord.” “I had a vision of you and I saw you have a python snake attached to your spirit. Are you okay? Since you left the church, we’ve all had concerns about you. We’ve all been praying for your return to the fold.”
In one of our mentoring telephone conversations, Kellie casually mentioned this but I could tell that she was shaken by it. I yelled through the telephone “NO! STOP. THAT WORD CAME FROM THE HEART OF A DEMON ASSIGNED TO STEAL YOUR RECOVERY FROM YOU! DO NOT RECEIVE IT!!!!”
Certainly, professing Christians without knowledge may seem to have good intentions.Yet, when you find yourself in bondage to what they claim God has said about you to them, what does it matter whether they had either good or bad intentions??? The results are the same.Your spirit has been penetrated and the enemy has successfully planted his desires into YOUR spirit to cause you confusion and ultimate harm!!!!
Take it from someone who knows. I am well insulated by God from face to face contact with people who allow demons to use them as messengers of Satan to control my life . I have even learned how to block out my dreams. So when the enemy cannot “reach me,” he’ll make a phone call, send a Facebook message or send an email.
Now I know that’s right!
I have personally received “thus saith the Lords” in emails and over the telephone on quite a few occasions. Now when I personally receive “a word” about someone else, I have learned to “keep my mouth shut.” Control freaks can’t do this. They are under too much compulsion to blurt out knowledge obtained by supernatural means to prove that “they are anointed of God.”
Here is how divination works. The enemy has difficulty “putting a spell on you” unless he first informs YOU about it. Then he will use your self-induced anxieties, doubts and fears to bring his plans about in YOUR life. In other words, devils and demons are skilled at making YOU your own worst enemy. You see, it is easier “do what they do,” with your cooperation and consent. In order to control our lives, the enemy has to “plant his desires” into our spirits.
Recently,someone sent me a message. He had a vision that witches were trying to bring harm on me because of my website and that they were attempting to put a spell on me. I didn’t scold him. Wouldn’t make any sense cause the damage was already done. Coincidence or not, at that very moment,I was involved in a situation with someone who had “witchcraft in her background.” So of course, my eyebrow was raised but I didn’t panic. I was just extra careful and observant.
The thing to do is to “watch and pray.”
Keep your mouth shut until the crisis, if there is one, has passed. Don’t let the enemy use YOU to plant fear into someone who you care about.Pray and rest in God. If God showed him that someone was praying against me, then the Holy Ghost was calling him to pray. Fallen angels are extremely skilled at using friends, the people even of your own household, to speak evil into your life. So wisdom is certainly necessary. I learned the hard way to “be slow to speak.”
Therefore, when someone comes to you with a “thus saith the Lord” and it does not compute with you, you must become verbally aggressive.I do it regularly. People may think that I am crazy but I am quick to get animated and boldly declare, “no. I rebuke that. I don’t receive that.”
Sometimes I get worst and like the Lord, I’ll speak directly to that demon and say “get thee behind me.” I don’t care what people think. It is too important that I guard my spirit.

Sexual Sin Is An End Time Sign

- The Sex-Witchcraft Connection began in the days of Noah and it is an end time sign NOW!
How did it all begin? The answer can be found in the book of Enoch: the rise of witchcraft. Fallen angels of Noah’s day taught their human wives curious arts. In other words, the fallen angels of Noah’s day birthed witchcraft with the human women they were having sex with, and from whom they conceived children, called the giants or the Nephilim. According to this ancient book, mankind’s involvement with witchcraft and other aspects of occultism fell under the direction of Semjaza, Armaros, Baraqijal, Kokabel, Ezeqell, Agragiel, Shamsiel and Sriel. And there was great impiety, they turned away from God, and committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semajaza taught the casting of spells and release from spells, Baarqijal taught astrology, Kokabel taught the constellations and portents, Ezeqeel the knowledge of clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun and Sriel the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven.
Generally, we associate witchcraft with Africa, Haiti, Louisiana, predominately among people of color. Nevertheless, witchcraft also thrive for centuries in Western Europe, as early as the 12th century. Back then, anyone who had sex with a demon was considered a witch in the 12th century and beyond.
Consequently, illicit sex is central to the definition of witchcraft itself, particularly sex with demons. The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth warned that the last days would be “like the days of Noah.” People of today don’t necessarily realize it but when they go off into their sexual perversions, they are having sex with demons and are actually practicing witchcraft.

anal sex, they are making an invitation to demons who then open up demonic doorways which the occult world calls chakras. Those who practice sexual immorality and perversion have opened themselves to demons through the demonic doorways in the mouth and throat, the sexual orifices and their anus.
Here is a classic example of the sex-witchcraft connection. I received a telephone call from a woman who was seeking prayer whom I will call “Diana.” Diana stated that she wanted me to pray against a demon that occupied her home. The pressure was on. It was tormenting her. My first question to her was “are you in sexual sin?” It turns out that Diana had been fornicating with another woman’s husband. Diana believed that this outraged wife hired a voodoo worker, who in turn, put a spell upon her. This kind of thing is a common end time sign. Repent of the illicit sex, and very often, the witchcraft demon will depart.

Deliverance Ministry’s Use of a List of Demon Names
In the field of deliverance ministry, there are 3 schools of thought: The Spiritual Warfare School, the Providential School and the Laodicean World View.
The Spiritual Warfare school of thought is like this. God is not really sovereign and therefore the light and truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ is NOT sufficient to set captives free. As such, new doctrines have been created like ”generational curses” as an outstanding example. New doctrines have been created by those who have taken scripture of its natural context to develop a complicated practice known as “deliverance ministry.” In the spiritual warfare world view, we MUST know the names of demons. Too often, proponents of this view ask demons what their names are, expecting them to tell them the truth, based on ONE scripture where Jesus asked for a name and the demon answered, “Legion, for we are many.” Let’s face it. The Lord wasn’t going to stand there and call out 6000 names.
Then there is the Providential School. These are those who believe that God is in control and therefore, all we need to do about demons is to seek after Jesus, live a righteous life and not pay any attention to demons. Don’t study them, simply call on the Lord to be delivered. To them I ask. “What about Job? There was no more of a righteous man in his day and time, yet God set Job up to contend with the devil.
I stand with a school that I myself have laid the foundation for: The Laodicean School.
I start with the premise that we are living in the 7th church age of Laodicea. As the Lord points out, this is an age of gross religious deception due to pride, spiritual blindness and vanity. Therefore, EVERYTHING supernatural must be tried and tested. Deliverance ministry is supernatural and so it too must be “suspect” as it was designed and created by deceived Christians in the early 70′s: Frank and Ida Hammond with their book “Pigs in the Parlor,” and Derek Prince and his books, particularly “How to Expel Demons.”
I take the best from both views. God is in control but He requires us to know the enemy’s tricks and wiles.

GOD RESISTS THE PROUD
“Faces of the Religious Demon”

- “The devil’s deception was broken in my life because I am quick to admit to error and I am not a people pleaser.”
Facebook is a place where everyone wants to teach and be heard and few want their followers to know that they don’t know very much. Rebellion and belligerence is very apparent in their various posts which portrays a rebellious spirit. Since rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, many Facebook teachers are in the hands of the enemy and God has turned some of them over to strong delusion.
There are some teachers on fb that have actually put people in bondage with their teachings. I won’t call any names but the truth is that their pride keeps them from being teachable. The enemy loves pride because deception is made easy when we think more highly of ourselves then we ought to think. I am not an advocate of the world’s self-esteem teaching that has been adopted by the religious world. Self esteem as defined by the world is when the world has high regards for you. You are accepted, found to be worthy and considered competent. In other words, worldly self-esteem is rooted in what others think of you. And for this reason, those who seek worldly favor will compromise to obtain and sustain the world’s approval. Christians of this persuasion find that they are always trying to fit in and in so doing, they disobey the Lord’s will to please others.
I have purposed and established in my heart that my self-esteem is found in Jesus Christ. The Lord is the only one I need to please because I love truth. When the motives of the heart are not pure, truth will be hidden. To be pure is to be clear, articulate, unclouded understanding. Not confused, covered up or clandestine. When something is not pure, it is defiled. To defile is to contaminate or to pollute. When the heart is not pure, then Satan’s job is easy because defilement has come from within US, usually because of pride. For pride begins with what we say in our hearts and what we believe in our minds. Jesus linked pride to adulteries, fornication, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy and foolishness. (Mark 7:20-22) A proud mind is not pure because it thinks, feels and behaves in ways that suggest that we think too highly of ourselves.
Pride, self-esteem and vanity deny and conceal the truth. These 3 traits will pull you away from the Lord’s will by quenching and grieving the Holy Spirit and your spirit will become blocked from God’s revelation about what is to come. Pride is also PHONY. Nothing real about it because it puts forth a facade or an act. Pride will cause you to deny your feelings, and pretend so much that you even fool yourself. But the devil is not fooled. He knows when you are “fronted” before him in your effort to appear to be in control, putting forth that lie when you routinely boast that you are blessed by God. As you over compensate, pride will prevent you from admitting that you need help and therefore the enemy can use your pride to block you from crucial resources.
The proud religious person must ALWAYS appear to be knowledgeable and therefore he or she will never admit to not knowing or understanding a verse of scripture, because they are concerned that others will think them stupid and so they will even lie to cover up their ignorance or their weakness as they hide the truth to protect their religious image. Such people are already in the hands of a religious demon [The Faces of a Religious Demon]. Pride goeth before a fall!
A proud person is not wise either. They make stupid, even costly mistakes. As vanity is excessive pride, a vain person’s conceit will bring sure destruction for self-deception is an open doorway to failure. Proud people :
- are outraged when others they that they are superior to them
- are defensive, always justifying themselves
- are critical in their efforts to tear down others to build themselves up
- will hunger for prestige by seeking praise and approval from others
- adopt the ways of those they are trying to please.
- make EVERYTHING personal.
- will live in the past and hunger for “the good old days.”
To the proud I declare that the world did not create you. The world did not redeem you. When you justify yourself before men, you establish them as your lord with authority and you enable the enemy to deceive you. Remember. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

In my last note, I ask the question of why is there an increase of demonic activity in the church.

I realize that even though I went into it briefly, I didn’t answer the question!
We talked about how the churches today has given free course and access in the spirit realm to the spirit of Baal, and how the Spirit of God is NOT in the churches today.
Just in case you missed that, let me repeat: THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD HAS LEFT THE BUILDING(S)!!!!!
How can I say that?
Well, a study of church history alone will reveal that, but my most compelling reason for saying that ICHABOD has been written across the doors of most churches and ministries is evident right in the Word of God!
But I can also say that because DELIVERANCE is NOT being done and taught in the church today! We have an increase of people who vehemently deny the existence of demons in the lives of so-called believers, therefore ruling out the need for deliverance.
I have never lived in a day where deliverance is so spoken AGAINST. This is sad because the Word CLEARLY states that those who believe and are baptized WILL CAST OUT DEVILS (Mark 16:16-18)!
In Matthew 12 (read and study it for yourself), the scriptures go into how Jesus and the disciples were rebuked by the Pharisees (the religious folks) because they were getting something to eat and Jesus was healing folk…on the sabbath day. So Jesus tells them HE is GREATER than the sabbath, yet they do not discern who HE is, so it means nothing to them. The Pharisees then went on to accuse him of doing deliverance (casting out devils) by the spirit of Beelzebub (or the devil).
We hear folks talk all the time about blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. And traditionally speaking, we in the pentecostal and charismatic movements have been taught that blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is speaking against speaking in tongues. But I want you to take a look at that scripture…in its PROPER context.
For years, we have been taught that scripture (Matt. 12:31-32) out of its proper context. We all assumed that meant ‘you better not say there is no such thing as speaking in tongues…’ That is NOT blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.
Read through the WHOLE chapter, and you will see that Jesus speaks MORE on the CASTING OUT OF DEVILS, which we term as ‘deliverance,’ throughout the chapter.
It is when the blind and deaf man is brought to Jesus that He speaks of the Kingdom of God. He explains how the devil wouldn’t cast out himself; it would tear down his kingdom. Jesus speaks FIRST of binding the strongman of a house (one of our favorite scriptures we use to teach on deliverance), then being able to take the goods of the house. It is also here where Jesus rebukes the Pharisees for asking for a sign. He calls them ‘generation of vipers,’ and ‘a wicked generation’ because they seek after a sign.
It is in this chapter where Jesus also speaks of the instance when an evil spirit is cast out of a man. The spirit is not at rest because it cannot find a home…
Matt. 12:43-45
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
I go into all this for a reason. When DELIVERANCE is spoken against and not taught-or improperly taught-then it is incomplete. There is more to deliverance than JUST casting out devils. After the devils are cast out, that vessel it was cast out of MUST BE FILLED with THE HOLY GHOST. Or else that evil spirit WILL come back!
The same principle in deliverance applies to a HOUSE as well. Let’s say a church goes through deliverance. The pastor on down to the baby in the pew gets delivered. BUT after the deliverance, the PRESENCE OF GOD, the HOLY GHOST has NOT been allowed to enter…not into the individual, and not into the building.
It is only a matter of time before those same evil spirits that were cast out WILL re-enter. They will re-enter that individual…and they will re-enter -AND EVENTUALLY INFEST-the WHOLE sanctuary!
THIS IS WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE LOCAL CHURCHES!!!!
Those who have been in communing with the Holy Ghost has been hearing the same message: THAT THE HOLY GHOST HAS LEFT THE INSTITUTIONALIZED CHURCH! Many people are hearing this same message; it is not the voices of two or three crazed, embittered folks who left church because they were angry because someone took their seat…NO!
More and more people are hearing the call of God…to COME OUT of the CHURCH…because HE is no longer there.
ICHABOD has been written across many a church front door…and the scary part is that millions don’t even know it!
So if the HOLY GHOST is NOT in the church, then what spirit is?
THE SPIRIT OF BAAL!
THE HOLY GHOST IS NOT IN THE CHURCHES BECAUSE BAAL HAS TAKEN OVER THE CHURCHES! Therefore, Baal and all his demons are now running the churches.
As we all know, God will NOT dwell in an unclean temple…not our fleshly temples, these mortal bodies we live in-neither in these temples made with hands.
So, consequently…the churches are now overrun with demons, demons given access by way of the welcoming of the Spirit of Baal.
Baal gets an invitation to these houses when we are disobedient to the things of God.
THAT’S why there are so many demons in the church today…

YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT’S HAPPENING!!!!!
Demons are infesting the church because of many reasons. One, NO ONE IS REALLY DOING REAL DELIVERANCE IN THESE CHURCHES. I don’t care what you see going on in your services, at your altars, no matter what type of ‘spirit’ you feel being released in the building. It is NOT the HOLY Spirit. How do I know this? Because afterwards the people AND THE LEADERSHIP will bear fruits meet for REPENTANCE. They will turn away from their sin, be remorseful for their sin and never look back.
This is NOT happening at the altars of Baal.
Yes, I called them ALTARS OF BAAL!
Baal is the fertility god of crops, fruit and cattle. FERTILITY god. Having babies. Getting married. Increasing in money, goods, houses, cars, lands. Getting pregnant. THAT’s what Baal offered its worshippers in the Bible.
WHAT is being prophesied and sought after MOST in the churches today?
HOUSES, REAL ESTATE, MARRIAGES, BABIES, INCREASE, PROSPERITY….
Baal was worshipped by sacrifices of the first born, as well in music and dance! In the churches today, music ministry is BIG BUSINESS. Anybody opening up a ministry today knows that if you want to attract big crowds, you have to have a powerful music ministry.
And now we have this liturgical dancing in the church. Not to mention the ‘dancing in the spirit’ that is popular in the pentecostal churches for years.
No one stopped to think that all this emphasis on music and dancing and the DE-EMPHASIS and LACK OF FOCUS on the Word of God has been nothing more than a ploy by the spirit of Baal that has crept in the churches…mocking the Spirit of God. And folks who don’t know the Word eat it up…Sunday after Sunday.
And wonder why they are MORE bound and oppressed by demons 20 years into their so-called salvations than they were when they first ‘got saved?’
So if the god of the institutionalized church is demonic, what do you think the fruit of whatever goes on in these houses of worship will be?
DEMONIC!
THIS is why people can’t get healed, delivered or saved in these churches. They are worshipping and praying to a false god!
Have any of you ever had a roach problem? Roach infestation is one of the most humiliating, debilitating experiences one can go through. How about beg bug infestations? OH, that’s even worse!
The nights of no sleep, being bit by bed bugs at your most vulnerable moments, when you are asleep?
How about putting down a cup of coffee and then when you pick it back up to drink it, there’s a roach floating in your cup????? YUCKKKK!!!!!
Well, there are many, MANY people who are living in the these spiritual houses that are INFESTED with DEMONS. They go back time after time again, to be tormented, humiliated, embarrassed, exploited, and victimized by these spiritual rodents.
Many of you who have had to deal with infestation know that a lot of times the only way to deal with infestation is to MOVE!
I have had to deal with both….and I will tell you. The ONLY relief I found from dealing with roach and bed bug infestation was to MOVE out of the houses that were infested! Yes, I spent all kinds of money trying to get rid of the pesky boogers. I fought bravely and valiantly the good fight to get rid of them. But they won, time and time again. It would seem that they would go away…but it was just for a season. Then they would return…with a VENGEANCE!
This is the decision that most of you who are reading this will have to do. You think if you stay at your church, that your prayers will somehow get rid of the infestation. When you fail to realize the longer you stay, the more ground and territory they gain IN and OVER YOU.
The only hope you have to is to GET OUT! MOVE! Don’t look back. Leave the stuff you gained there because that stuff is infested, too. Start over from scratch.
If you step out on faith, I PROMISE…God will order your steps and will lead you by HIS SPIRIT!!!!!
