People who worship the Fake Jesus (Jesus Sananda Immanuel), MOST OF WHOM ARE MOST CHURCHGOING FOLKS WHO CLAIM TO BE SAVED, are by far, the MOST DIFFICULT to reach. Why? Because he has them so fooled that they actually think that the Jesus they are serving is the true Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and NOBODY CAN TELL THEM DIFFERENT. With all of his trickery, they don’t realize that they are serving a religious counterfeit, and often become heavily offended when their salvation is challenged.
Sananda is so clever that he uses what works with people: miracles, signs, wonders, warm-fuzzy feelings, and a LACK OF FAITH IN THE TRUTH. He preys on a person’s desperation for seeing to believe, since he knows that they have no faith. Faith on the power of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the most powerful weapon we have against the enemy. If he can steal your faith, he can win you over.
The more allegiance you have to Sananda, the more he can block you from seeing the truth, which can therefore block your salvation. When I had a false conversion, I did not make an invitation to Sananda. If I did, I would have been in demonic torment. I suppose that because of the fact that I never engaged in any practices that had me inviting Jesus into my heart, and therefore had no demons. So my salvation therefore was not blocked. It was easy for me to receive the truth, and I did not become offended when Pam challenged my salvation.
The more I heard Pam preach the gospel to me, the more I began to see it, and the more I wanted even more truth. My FAITH on the power of the cross and resurrection was being developed. Once I received that faith, the Holy Spirit was able to do His work!
Anyone who has said the sinners prayer, prayed Jesus into their heart, or somehow engaged in a practice that involved calling on Jesus or chanting for Jesus to come to them is at risk of being demonized. YOU DID NOT ENCOUNTER THE REAL JESUS CHRIST!!! Why you ask? Because Jesus Christ is not a spirit hovering around, waiting for us to beckon him. He is sitting at the right hand of the father in HUMAN FORM.
When Jesus Christ resurrected, he appeared before Mary Magdalene and other disciples to show them this very fact, so that they can see that he came back to life in his own body, and then ascended to heaven in that body. Yet this one very important aspect of the gospel is being watered down and dispelled all throughout the organized church!!!! Why? Because the enemy knows that people are so caught up in lusting after supernatural experiences that they will even ignore the very truth in order to get their supernatural fix. Think about it: how often do people go to church talking about “the presence,” and how much they want to “experience God?” FOR WHAT???? It’s all about THEM!!! It’s all about SELF-EDIFICATION. What in the world does that have to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? NOTHING.
People lack faith in the power of God, so they lust after the supernatural in order to find a reason or a way to believe in his power…when the power that they are seeking after is actually the power of the devil…nothing different than what psychics and mediums do…just in a different environment.

The apostle Paul wrote the Ephesians and explained that all sinners are dead in their trespasses and sins.(Ephesians 2:1-9)
So if when we are sinners we are dead, how can we save ourselves by making a decision to “accept Jesus?”
This morning, I had a dream about a former enemy. In the dream, she was attacking me on all levels. I recalled all her old beefs with me, as they were made perfectly clear while I was still in the dreaming state of consciousness. HOwever, immediately upon awakening, I realized the futility of my enemy’s dream state attack. Foe even though she is alive in the spirit, in her body she is dead. COnsequently, this former enemy is truly “former” as she has been dead for about ten years now.
So when I look back to March 29, 1977, at around 4 pm on a Monday, I did not make a choice as there was no spiritual decision that I was capable of making as a vocal, seriously determined atheist who had never been to church in 33 years. I was dead in my trespasses and sins.
Yet in a split second, I was no longer an atheist. How did that happen?
I had been convicted of sin a few hours before. Nevertheless, I did not know what was going on until I read the bible days and even months later.
I had grieving over the sin that was revealed to me and I called a friend o seek help to stop the grief . While on the phone, the sorrow that had begun over myself , in a split second, it turned to the Lord. I blurted out “I am crying for what they did to Jesus. ” These words shocked me as if spoken by someone else.
Yet I did not get even a few seconds of opportunity to question that shocking confession when suddenly, a light bulb turns on in my head with a powerful thought. Pam, EVERYTHING YOU HEARD ABOUT JESUS IS TRUE.
What had I heard which I mocked and laughed at for decades had been gleaned through the holiday messages and deMille movies—that Jesus Christ died for my sins and that He is alive!
I found myself in a state of absolute shock. Faith was dropped into me like a coin into a slot machine.I started to travail like a woman about to give birth. I saw in a vision a hand of light going into my chest area. I travailed with groans for about 3or 4 times.
Then, boom. Unspeakable joy. THE BABY WAS DELIVERED. I felt like I had literally just been born. I had no past. All burdens of sin removed, forgiven, washed and cleansed. Tears of sorrow turned to joy. Think of what you do when your team wins in a game. Multiply that by 100 and that was me.
As stated, this phenomenal experience occurred while I was on the phone with a non-Christian friend, Vivian. It started when she asked me to explain to her the reason why I could not stop weeping. Once the rebirth took place, I suppose I dropped the phone and she remained on the line. So while I was rejoicing, I picked up the phone again, and Vivian spoke. “you have just given birth to your new spirit in Christ Jesus. Go run a tub of water and baptize yourself in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.”
A few months later, Vivian did not remember any of this while it has been vividly planted in MY mind for 40 years.
MY point?
I was dead in trespasses and sins. I was an atheist who had never been to church. No one gave me a tract. NO one invited me to their church. I turned off Billy Graham before I could hear his sermon. In fact, my ability to make a choice for Christ was overpowered by strong unbelief. I did not choose Christ.
HE CHOSE ME!!!
When did He choose me?
HE CHOSE ME AT THE SAME TIME HE CHOSE ALL OF HIS ELECT. ACCORDING TO EPHESIANS 1:4,5. The Lord chose me before the foundation of the world, according to the good pleasure of HIS will, And not mine!

Those whom the Lord saves who were accustomed to supernatural experiences like telekinesis, poltergeist and other magical types of manifestations will try to explain such phenomena with scriptures. They rationalize and continue to believe that psychic phenomena are the gift of miracles.
For example, I was just born again a year or so when I spoke to a storm and it seemed that I stopped it. It was one of those summer storms. My clothes were drying on an outside line and I had just settled down in my backyard in a lawn chair with a cool drink when the sky got dark and the winds kicked up. I stood up, spoke directly to the storm and commanded it to leave. I kid you not, it rained all around my backyard, but not a drop fell where I dwelled. The sun came back out, shined only above me, while the entire neighborhood was flooded with rain. It was quite a deluge. So of course, I connected this incident to the Lord speaking to a storm and what He said about speaking to mountains as my biblical “confirmation. I look back now and I realize that this manifestation was not from God. The motive? To make me into a signs and wonders, charismatic freak. The fallen angel responsible was quite successful. It didn’t take much to turn me into granola—a fruit, a nut and a flake!
Here is the crux of the problem. As a product of New Age occultism, Christians with psychic phenomena in their past remain ignorant of the deception of the mighty foe. So once born again, each of us has been assigned a religious/witchcraft spirit entity whose job is to seek every opportunity to buffet us with counterfeits of the gifts of the Holy Ghost that seem to be from God.. The assigned fallen angel or demon waits for an element of the flesh to manifest itself in the new believer, in order to gain his master’s end. The Apostle Paul calls that aspect of our flesh by the name of witchcraft. Like Simon the Sorcerer, we carry in our flesh a lust for the supernatural that the enemy works with. Since occultists are trained to expect the supernatural, hidden in our flesh remains the same desire AFTER we are saved.
How did I overcome? My story is in “Come Out of Her, God’s People.”
I experienced many dealings of the flesh—many trials, tribulations and tests.
Being put to death in the flesh goes on and on. Overcoming was not finished in one mighty stroke. The Holy Spirit covered all bases, first dealing with my ambition for the 3 p’s of prestige, prominence and power. What helped me is that even when I was a sinner, I was a lover of the truth. So I became one who sought spiritual truth at all cost. Also, as Paul was assigned a religious demon–a thorn in his flesh–to develop him, so was I.
I am a overcomer because my religious demon presented me with trials and temptations to overcome. From 1977-2003, —26 years–the religious demon was in the driver’s seat regarding charismatic manifestations. I was completely duped. Yet in 2003—, once I prayed “Lord, show me the darkness that is around me,”— all things continue to be exposed.
In every test, I had the choice of going down and being crushed by the spirit of the anti-christ or rising up in spirit victory. I ROSE UP!

A STORY OF MY JOURNEY FROM RELIGION, TO THE OCCULT, TO CHRIST:
Immersed in religion and church most of my life, I had NEVER heard the true Gospel, until June 26, 2012, delivered by Pastor Pam Sheppard. After being out of the institutional church for quite some time, I found Pastor Pam online, and was impacted by her interest in wanting me to have the truth, as well as the way she took the time to care about me and offer help for my transition out of religiosity and charismatic witchcraft.
No one else I knew who was in out-of-church ministry was doing this… I noticed various fruitless works of those who constantly bash the IC, yet offered no real solutions on how to move forward. I also had concerns about my salvation because even though I had a lot of Bible knowledge, I was NOT AT ALL impacted by the cross and resurrection….Being saved was all about ME getting into heaven. There was no Godly sorrow, no faith in the power of the cross and bodily resurrection. No faith=No Power.
Therefore, I was so grateful to finally hear the gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time. When Pastor Pam preaches and teaches the truth, she make sense of things. After watching the video, False Conversions 2, I finally GOT IT, and I was impacted by the Gospel of Jesus Christ like never before!!! I remember prior to this experience being “stuck” at repentance. I realized that in spite of my religious training through church attendance for decades, that I was not changed. While on a religious treadmill, I continued to search for the truth in different churches, but I could never find it… not until I STOPPED going to church and started my journey to truth.
While attending church , I ignorantly submitted myself to the enemy to follow the occult. thinking that my answers were perhaps there. The occult made me feel good and special, and was not boring like church, and so I had begun to put my faith in it…particularly because I had trouble accepting my life circumstances, and years later, my mother’s death. So connecting with Pastor Pam was especially beneficial to me because of her own former occult background. Once she showed me how all of those things that “appeared to be good” were actually of the devil, she also helped me denounce the occult.
Pastor Pam also helped me feel comfortable because she is relatable. Pastor Pam did not pass judgment on me because I claimed to be a “Christian” yet I also practiced the occult. She is the ONLY pastor I ever felt comfortable opening up to about my New Age involvement. She took time to educate me about ways the enemy uses the occult to trick people, and it wasn’t long after that, that I began to see for myself that the occult was not the answer. So the institutional church didn’t have the truth I needed, nor did the occult. I was left to just me…bare and naked before the Lord…which is right where he wanted me.
After being exposed to so many different denominations and types of churches most of my life, after being duped by the occult, and after being so confused about my salvation, all I wanted was the TRUTH. And through meeting Pastor Pam and becoming born again, I HAVE TRUTH!!!!!! NOT UNTIL PAM PREACHED THE GOSPEL TO ME ON THAT VIDEO ON JUNE 26, 2012. I stayed up late into the wee hours of the morning, watching her videos, and then the Holy Spirit did His work in me. It was like being transformed into a marvelous new thing that I had been waiting for all of my life, but just could never experience in the IC.
The fog has lifted! The blinders have been removed! The wool is no longer covering my eyes! I find myself on the other side of the looking-glass.
I am a founding member of RESCUE FELLOWSHIP ONLINE where Pam Sheppard has been my pastor for 5 years now. , I can NEVER go back to my religious past, knowing that I now live in truth…in reality. I am no longer asleep, under the enemy’s spell on the counterfeit side of the looking-glass. No more religion and no more false doctrines. No deception from the occult. No more confusion. In ministry since 1981, I know a thing or two about false prophets. Besides the TV mega preachers that I watched for years, I also came to know at least 200 ministers while I was pastoring in a well-known denomination. So from my observations, I have designated 3 different types of false prophets. The deceived, the detoured and the diabolical.
There are those false prophets who are really saved but they followed the wrong leaders, and “sucked into themselves” mixed and false doctrines and practices. In short, they heeded and harkened unto the voice of seducing spirits and doctrines of the devil. However, they have not yet departed from the faith. These I call, “the Deceived.” Some of them will be set free. Because of pride, sad to say, others won’t be. Some false prophets would prefer to be caught up in a scandal than to admit that they taught error and thereby “led the people in the wrong direction, away from God, and not toward Him.” They are too spiritually proud to admit that they did not rightly divide the word of God.
Then there is the false prophet who was once used of God mightily, but he or she got deceived by the enemy and fell into disrepute. These I call “the Detoured.” This man or woman becomes a pretender—one who is very dangerous to those who are babes in Christ or who remain carnal Christians. Their followers “stand by their man” even when they should jump ship. The bible has a classic example of how the detoured “Old Prophet” deceived the man of God, resulting in the latter’s death. (I Kings 13)
Then of course, there is the out-and-out pretender who knows that he or she is serving the spirit of the Anti-Christ and everything they do is a masquerade. These I call “the Diabolical.” They are imposters, planted in among Christians to willfully bring confusion that will lead to destruction.
Every false prophet type— whether the Deceived, the Detoured, and the Diabolical— is equally dangerous. Why? Because they can leave a huge trail of victims. I am humbled and thankful that although I was on the road to becoming a false prophet, the Holy Ghost jerked my chain, then cut it and broke it. When I was deceived by charismatic teachings,” God blessed me by closing doors and blocking me from spreading error. Even though I once had the heart, the skill and the desire of a mega preacher, God purposefully would not allow me to become a popular celebrity.. When a door opened, the Holy Ghost closed it and blocked my way through it. Moreover, among those that I have pastored, even though I personally believed some mixed doctrines, I didn’t teach them to those who allowed me to lead them. So praise God, after 36 years as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I have no victims.
For example, I spoke in tongues, but I didn’t teach my followers to do so. I tithed, but I did not preach a “sow a seed,” prosperity gospel. In fact, I was completely self-sustaining. I gave back my church salary in the form of tithes and offerings to the churches that I pastored. When I practiced healing and the laying on of hands, I never told anyone to stop taking their medicine and “walk by faith.” I primarily preached the cross, sin, repentance, rebirth and the resurrection. But make NO MISTAKE. The false prophets of all 3 varieties:— the deceived, the detoured and the diabolical— are equally dangerous! Your prayers for them to repent may NOT prevail. And why not?
In order to repent, the false prophet has to do more than apologize and ask for forgiveness from those he has 
abused and deceived. If he has been made rich off of the backs of poor people by preaching the prosperity gospel, then God will require him or her to “give back” all of that money to the poor. Not too many false prophets are willing to give up those jet planes, million dollar homes and those Bentleys. Even the false prophets who are NOT mega, many of them have practiced the lie for so long, that it is practically impossible to receive the truth and act on it. Far too many have made “ministry” their career and not their calling.
Ask the Apostle Paul. He maintained as a tent maker. He would not allow any of the churches that he set up to totally provide his livelihood. That is why he could write, “whether abased or exalted, I can do ALL things 4 through Christ who strengthens me.” In other words, JUST SO YOU KNOW, I am not dependent upon YOU to live and to serve my God. When a false prophet’s livelihood is intricately tied to church dollars and resources, he or she is captive to a self-made trap that cannot be escaped from without God’s help. Actually, some false prophets have to be stripped naked to find God again, if they ever knew Him. So if you really think a particular false prophet is deceived, perhaps detoured but not diabolical, then your prayer should be “Lord, strip him.”
A word of caution. The religious demon assigned to me tried to set me up to become a false prophet. In several dreams, he showed me standing before huge audiences, walking up and down across a platform with my bible in my hand, preaching and teaching. He even showed me pastoring a church of about 10,000 people. Because I sought after the power to slay in the spirit, after 10 years of seeking, I got it. I could wave my hand, and certain ones would fall out, unconscious. However, I began to question this power because I noticed that the ones in my congregation who fell out the most, were also those who could not STAND for the Lord, relapsing or backsliding constantly. So I said to myself, “Pam, there is something wrong with this so-called gift. This cannot be from the Holy Ghost!” Once I prayed to the Lord and asked Him to “show me the darkness,” I got quite the wake-up call that revealed that the mega preacher phenomena of today is NOT of the Lord. It is a combination of human charisma, “anointed” by the enemy’s power. My testimony is in “Come Out of Her God’s People.”

A STORY OF MY JOURNEY FROM RELIGION, TO THE OCCULT, TO CHRIST:
Immersed in religion and church most of my life, I had NEVER heard the true Gospel, until June 26, 2012, delivered by Pastor Pam Sheppard. After being out of the institutional church for quite some time, I found Pastor Pam online, and was impacted by her interest in wanting me to have the truth, as well as the way she took the time to care about me and offer help for my transition out of religiosity and charismatic witchcraft.
No one else I knew who was in out-of-church ministry was doing this… I noticed various fruitless works of those who constantly bash the IC, yet offered no real solutions on how to move forward. I also had concerns about my salvation because even though I had a lot of Bible knowledge, I was NOT AT ALL impacted by the cross and resurrection….Being saved was all about ME getting into heaven. There was no Godly sorrow, no faith in the power of the cross and bodily resurrection. No faith=No Power.
Therefore, I was so grateful to finally hear the gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time. When Pastor Pam preaches and teaches the truth, she make sense of things. After watching the video, False Conversions 2, I finally GOT IT, and I was impacted by the Gospel of Jesus Christ like never before!!! I remember prior to this experience being “stuck” at repentance. I realized that in spite of my religious training through church attendance for decades, that I was not changed. While on a religious treadmill, I continued to search for the truth in different churches, but I could never find it… not until I STOPPED going to church and started my journey to truth.
While attending church , I ignorantly submitted myself to the enemy to follow the occult. thinking that my answers were perhaps there. The occult made me feel good and special, and was not boring like church, and so I had begun to put my faith in it…particularly because I had trouble accepting my life circumstances, and years later, my mother’s death. So connecting with Pastor Pam was especially beneficial to me because of her own former occult background. Once she showed me how all of those things that “appeared to be good” were actually of the devil, she also helped me denounce the occult.
Pastor Pam also helped me feel comfortable because she is relatable. Pastor Pam did not pass judgment on me because I claimed to be a “Christian” yet I also practiced the occult. She is the ONLY pastor I ever felt comfortable opening up to about my New Age involvement. She took time to educate me about ways the enemy uses the occult to trick people, and it wasn’t long after that, that I began to see for myself that the occult was not the answer. So the institutional church didn’t have the truth I needed, nor did the occult. I was left to just me…bare and naked before the Lord…which is right where he wanted me.
After being exposed to so many different denominations and types of churches most of my life, after being duped by the occult, and after being so confused about my salvation, all I wanted was the TRUTH. What boggles my mind is the notion that NO ONE HAS GOTTEN SAVED IN OR BY THE institutional church in at least 50 years because the Holy Spirit has not been there. Now church folk have been born again at home, ON airplanes, AT THE park, AT A FRIEND OR RELATIVES HOUSE, at the gym, BUT NOT seated on a church pew.
IT IS HARD TO FATHOM. Consider the SERMONS IN ALL THE CHURCHES GOING FORTH 52 Sunday’s, and studies on Weds, choir rehearsals, prayer meeting, AND NOT ONE BORN AGAIN!!!! In at least 50 or maybe more years. all the conventions, the TV watching of church services, AND NOT ONE BORN AGAIN!!!!
Formerly a pastor and an evangelist in the institutional church for 25 years, I cannot point to even one church member out of hundreds I have known and declare with strong conviction THAT I KNOW “so and so” GOT BORN AGAIN IN CHURCH!!!!!!
It is scary. Almost as scary as death itself can be.
Churches were made to birth new BORN AGAIN SPIRITS. BUT AS THE HARLOT, SHE HAS DELIVERED NO NEW BIRTHS IN 50 years, perhaps a century.
What I share with you is not church bashing. I don’t bash the IC because no one can pinpoint the human culprit, PRIMARILY BECAUSE the IC has been seized by cohorts of fallen angels and other seducing spirits. Corruption has been spreading for decades, perhaps centuries.
I watched the Academy Award movie, Spotlight. It was reported that the priests had been molesting kids in Boston for decades and more. The Boston Globe tried to focus on the Cardinal who covered up for all the priests under his charge. Yet when it all came out, the Pope promoted the Cardinal to a position in ROME!!!! This kind of cover-up is endemic not only to Catholics but to the entire institutional church.
SO WHO CAN YOU BLAME in SUCH A HOT MESS?
It makes me wonder if at the present moment, there are 144,000 believers alive on earth in totality. AND HOW MANY OF them ARE IN CHURCH? There may be a few left among the elect of God still committed to the Harlot. Nevertheless, I venture to estimate that the IC has very few born again members within Her.

I have examined my salvation at least three times according to II Corinthians 5:13, seriously examined it, because it was so supernatural. And the reason my salvation is my only personal possession is because I never accepted Jesus into my heart. I never sought Him. In fact, I did not believe that He actually was a literal human being that lived on Earth. I thought He was a myth, made up by the white man to keep my black people enslaved with all of His meekness and turn the other cheek behavior, which was not my personality at all. I was not afraid of hell because I did not believe in hell either. I confess that I was both proud and adamant in my position as an atheist.
So what I received was a call.
The problem is that religious folk have “accepted” Jesus before they heard His call. The call is not about going into ministry. The call is when God is reaching out to you to tell you, “I saved you before I created the foundations of the earth. I knew you when you were in your mother’s womb. Oh atheist Pam, you were an atheist for 33 years, but I knew you, and I called you.” And when you get a call, you get that call on a specific day and time. Now He may have been drawing you for years, and He definitely has sent angels to stand by and protect you to keep the devil from killing you before you heard the call. my day and time was Monday, March 29, 1977 at 4 pm.
Everybody who is born again who is saved by God hears a call. And where does that call take you? It takes you to the cross. That’s where you gotta go. You gotta go to the cross. And you may not know then the victory of the Lord’s blood, the power of His blood to ruin all the enemy’s plans that he has for you, the power of that blood to keep you. That’s the meaning of baptism, you have been baptized into His death, into His cross and raised out of that water into His resurrection. Lord have mercy. The call will also take you to His resurrection. The Holy Spirit will give you faith to believe that a dead man got up in the body He died in, and walked out of His grave alive, never to die again.
It’s a call! So, those who want to argue with me on this subject, who want to say “well what about my will, what about my will and my decision to choose God?” You know that doesn’t even really sound right. How can we choose God while we are yet dead in our trespasses and sins?
Let’s see what the bible says about this. What about your willpower in this?
I asked myself this question since I was a person with a very strong willpower. In fact, I stood against my grandmother every Sunday. There was a church and my grandfather was the pastor. As an eight year old, I stood with my willpower as a young child and said to Grandma Greta “NO, I’m not going to that church, I’m not going to your church. I don’t believe in Jesus, I WILL not go”, and I did not go!!!
So what happened to my willpower when I got the call? It almost seems like it disappeared. I was just caught up, snatched up in the call. You say “prove it to me, show me in the bible.” Well look at Ezekiel the 36th chapter. This is the prophetic words of God about the new birth. He doesn’t mention Jesus by name, but He does mention Him. He says, “I will sanctify My great name, I will take you from among the heathen.” And that’s what happened to Me, the one my grandmother used to call a heathen.
I was taken from among the heathen and gathered out. He says “I will sprinkle clean water upon you.” Look at God’s emphasis. On all the “I will’s.” He says “Iwillsprinkle clean water upon you. I will give you a new heart, I will give you a new spirit, I will put a new spirit within you, I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, I will put My Spirit in you, and I will cause you to walk in My statutes and you shall keep My judgments and do them.”
And that’s what 40 years of my life have been about. I got caused to be where I am now. Why? Because He said “I will put My Spirit within you, and it is My Spirit within you that will cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments and do them.” Lord have mercy. It’s the fear of the Lord, that Spirit within, that has caused ME to be 40 years in Him.
And then He says “I will also save you from all your uncleanness.” That’s what He does in Christ. Many have jumped out and said “I accept Jesus.” And so, since they accepted Jesus, then they have to cause themselves to keep the laws and the statutes and to obey God. It becomes a real work for them, but it’s a work without power. Why?
They didn’t wait on the call.
Wait on Him to call you. If you have a desire for Jesus Christ of Nazareth, then God is moving upon you. Wait for Him to call you. Don’t get duped into saying, “come into my heart.” Jesus Christ of Nazareth does not come into anybody’s heart. But the Fake Jesus does. HOW A FALSE CONVERSION OCCURS
Because the spirit and the soul are not separate but tightly knitted or braided around each other as are the ligaments, marrow and jonts in our legs, it is difficult to discern the difference between the two. The soul is easiest to recognize because the concerns and needs of “self” are generally apparent. We recognize the “body” side of the soul because we can see the results through the activity of the natural frame. We can see selfishness, ambition, competition, and jealousy because the body, through material and natural things, will engage in scenarios that expose self striving.
However, where we fall short is in our ability to discern the soul from the spirit, which is also “flesh.” I am considering a gospel account of the words of the Lord when a funeral procession went by. He turned to his disciples and said, “let the dead bury the dead.” How can the dead bury the dead? What Jesus was actually saying is “let the spiritually dead bury the physically dead.” Meaning: those who are alive in both the body and the soul have a dead spirit. A dead spirit is one that is separated, alienated, and without God in the world. That is a dead spirit. It doesn’t mean that there is no awareness or activity in the spirit.
The spirit of the lost is very much alive in the kingdom of darkness, but he or she is alienated from the kingdom of heaven. It makes itself known through various nightmares and irrational fears. When it is active, man’s dead spirit is open to the hellish dark world of spirits ruled over by the Prince of darkness. When it is both active AND powerful, the spirit is capable of a variety of supernatural feats including but not limited to clairvoyance, clairaudience and astral travel or out of body experiences.
When a lost or alienated person “accepts Jesus” as Lord and Savior, it can’t be the spirit who does so because the spirit of that person is dead, alienated, and walking according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that works in those who are disobedient by the lust of their flesh. In such a condition, the soul has to take over. In the lost, the soul fulfills the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and the lost person has the nature of self consciousness.
So since a dead spirit cannot “accept God,” the soul takes over in its parts: mind, emotions and volition or will and says, “I accept Jesus as Lord and Savior” and begins a religious ritual that imitates intimacy and relationship. The working of the enemy through the mind or ideas of man quenches the work of the Holy Ghost to quicken that person’s spirit. For the powers of darkness are keenly clever in working alongside of and simulating the born again experience.
When a person is REALLY born again, the soul takes a back seat. The Holy Ghost “quickens” the spirit through repentance. As defined by Paul to the Ephesians, to quicken means to be made alive. As Jesus Christ was raised from the dead physically or bodily, to be born again is to be raised from the dead spiritually. In other words, a dead spirit has been raised to becoming a vessel for the Holy Ghost. Since the spirit does not have a will, volition is a choice or decision made by the soul. What the spirit has is intuition. Paul revealed that the reason the spirit is raised from the dead is because “God is rich in mercy.” So the resurrection of the spirit begins in the intuition and then translated into understanding by the soul.
When the soul “accepts Jesus,” the spirit remains dead but with great acting skills, the soul can religiously imitate the things of God. The fallen spirit of man, alienated and separated from God is sunk down into the soul so that the soul manifests as intellect or sensuality, often in both. In such cases, the soul reigns over both the spirit and the body. The way that the new life reaches the spirit is shown in the Lord’s own words: You must be born again. The Holy Ghost “breathes” where ever He chooses. This is not the decision of man but the will of God.
The believer who has been raised from the dead in the spirit to newness of like is born of the Spirit or “born again.” The Holy Ghost, who takes up a dwelling place in the reborn spirit, has given the believer a revelation of the Cross and the Lord’s resurrection. This revelation is first received in the spirit. As James indicates in his letter, the wisdom that is from above—from the Holy Spirit—is pure, peaceable, gentle, merciful—without any element of the life of the soul—opinions, self views, strife-jealousy. So when a person is born again, the spirit imparts understanding to the soul through the mind, will and the emotions.
What is happening among those who claim that “they accepted Jesus,” is that they have done so through the soul and therefore, their spirits have remained dead. The intellect of one whose spirit is dead is decidedly fallible and becomes the most dangerous of the soul’s gifts because God seekers use their minds to understand spiritual truths. The scriptures reveal that the soulish man cannot receive the things of the Spirit, because they can only be spiritually discerned.
According to the late great Jessie Penn Lewis, “It is the soulish element in teachers and professors of holiness, which is often the cause of separation and disunion. There may be, it is true, love in the heart to those who ‘differ,’ but the ‘differences’ divide nevertheless, because the demoniacal powers, able to work upon the soulish element in the believer, always emphasize or exaggerate the difference in “views of truth,” instead of magnifying the points of union, and even drive eager believers to ‘fight’ for their view of ‘truth,‘ under the name of ‘witnessing for God.” It is also the soulish element in Christians which insists upon the minute correspondence of others its ‘views of truth,’ and ‘tithe mint and anise and cumin’, in words whilst leaving ‘undone the weightier matters of the law’—which in the gospel dispensation of the Spirit between believers as the condition of their growth into ‘unity of the faith. ‘In brief, the soul-life, influenced by evil supernatural powers, is the main cause of divisions and separation among the professing, and even the true children of God.”
For this reason as pointed out by Sis. Jessie, the churches are filled with nominal worshippers of Christ, who show no marks of a true Christian life within them. In a nutshell, influences that bypass the spirit and only reach the soul may prepare the way by bringing the seeker within the reach of the truth which is read from the scriptures. Outer strivings may make for a kind self righteousness that has a value and place in the world. However, by virtue of these outer trappings, such seekers will be fooled into believing that the strivings of the soul is evidence that he or she is born again. Not so. Since God views self righteous as filthy rags, the spirits of such seekers is untouched. Dead. Alienated. Without God.
Those whose souls imitate salvation are diversified. Dynamic personalities sway and move the emotions of others. Their fruit—like TD Jakes for example—is to move the emotions of the soul. The problem is that the faith of the hearers stands in the influence or wisdom of people like TD, and not in the power of God. Intellectuals uses schemes to reach men and bring them to God, some preaching hell and damnation to frighten people to God, others using heaven, prosperity, gospelfests, social fellowship, networking etc.
The outcome is that people are attracted to the fake Jesus, and not of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. What happens is a dangerous thing, so dangerous, that I will have to address it in more detail Part III. Suffice it to say for now, that people who are deceived into believing that they got born again, STILL have a dead spirit. When dead, the spirit is susceptible to the evil side of the spirit world where psychic power is mistaken for the gifts of the Holy Ghost. Consequently, unsaved people are speaking in tongues, laying hands on others, imparting demons into vulnerable people. Also, when people with dead spirits pray to the Father in the name of His Son, the one who answers their prayers is the imposter, the Fake Jesus.
Can a person whose spirit has been quickened STILL allow his or her soul to dominate? Most decidedly YES. These are those who have a sensual relationship with Jesus. When they speak of “being in His presence,” they are not satisfied unless they can feel the presence of God continually upon their flesh, and almost bi-polar in the spirit, they experience loads of ups and downs akin to spiritual mood swings. They need to be taught how to walk by faith and not by sight or feeling. Although the Holy Spirit dwells in their spirits, they often allow the soul to predominate because they do not understand the spirit life and the actions of the human spirit in co-action with God.

When dead, the spirit is susceptible to the evil side of the spirit world where psychic power is mistaken for the gifts of the Holy Ghost. Consequently, unsaved people are speaking in tongues, laying hands on others, imparting demons into vulnerable people. Also, when people with dead spirits pray to the Father in the name of His Son, the one who answers their prayers is the imposter, the Fake Jesus.
Can a person whose spirit has been quickened STILL allow his or her soul to dominate? Most decidedly YES. These are those who have a sensual relationship with Jesus. When they speak of “being in His presence,” they are not satisfied unless they can feel the presence of God continually upon their flesh, and almost bi-polar in the spirit, they experience loads of ups and downs akin to spiritual mood swings. They need to be taught how to walk by faith and not by sight or feeling. Although the Holy Spirit dwells in their spirits, they often allow the soul to predominate because they do not understand the spirit life and the actions of the human spirit in co-action with God.

I find that the easiest people for me to work with in regards to rational, commonsense conversations concerning the evils within the institutional church and the fact that their own local church is not immune from Satanic deception, is when someone contacts me who is in torment, and who also is suffering from the delusion that they are born again. Does not the bible declare that “God did not give us a spirit of fear and of torment, but He gave us a sound mind.” So if your mind is not sound and you are in torment, it becomes clear and logical to ask the question, “How could I possibly be born again?
Furthermore, if you’ve been in a local church for several years , and the leadership still has not recognized your problems, nor have they helped you with them, it becomes a lot easier to ask yourself “how could God be in there?” When a churchgoer starts to think outside his or her religious box, the result is that he or she is free to also to take note of how many people in his local church are patients in the mental health system or the substance abuse system with all kinds of strange health and medical problems, yet healing and deliverance is consistently preached. Finally, when you are free in your mind to consider that the pastor’s family is not delivered, aren’t these apparent contradictions signs that God is not there?
I find it best to reason with the deceived, rather than use the bible as a weapon to “bang, bang, bang, bang” folk over their heads. People need to be encouraged to operate with a sound mind so as to come to their own conclusions. When a sound mind is delivered from the bondage of passivity, churchgoers will pose their own questions like ” how is this happening , and why is that not happening?”Church folk quickly pick up the lingo, and will go about declaring “I’m blessed! I’m blessed, I’ve got this, I’ve got that, so I’m blessed!” And most of the time, they either really don’t believe that; or they are in serious bondage to a delusion. And so, when I hear such a declaration, I enquire “what does it mean to be blessed? ” I will do a church folk thing and ask “how does the bible define the nature of being blessed?” For example, in Psalm 1. “Blessed is the man (or woman) that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly.” And then, I share with them that what their church is preaching is ungodly counsel. As the most important example of ungodly counsel, you have been taught that you can accept God. The truth is that if you are to be born again, God has already chosen YOU and not the other way around.
Then Psalm 1 continues with not walking in the counsel of the ungodly, or standeth in the way of sinners. Then I would ask the question, “Can you tell the difference between the folk in your local church and sinners by the way they look, the way they operate, the way they talk, the places that they go? this is a subject for yet another post.
“Or sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” One of the things I get the churchgoer to notice is that the devil loves to mock the church and people who present themselves as the pillars of the church. For example, with Benny Hinn, they haven’t been able to find anybody of all those people that he has waved his hands at, or prayed for, or declared healed. Among all those thousands upon thousands of people. the last I heard is that there is no proven record that even ONE really got healed.
So I think its important to ask church folk who come our way this important question. “What is the I. C. really doing for you? Why do you say you’re blessed? Are you really? Is there any fear and torment operating in you or in your family? Are you in captivity to the devil? How can you be in captivity to the devil and you go to church every time the doors are open? Why are you suffering with this or that and you’re a faithful and committed churchgoer?” These are some of the kinds of questions that people will be offended by but they will ponder when the dust clears. . “Do you hear from God? Are your prayers being answered? Tell me some of the prophecies that have been said over you. Have they come to pass?”
When I was in the IC as a pastor, the devil was talking to me constantly. I thought I was hearing from God. He would make me promises in dreams that he KNEW would never come to pass. His motive was to cause me to weaken in faith and to distrust God. Once my eyes were opened to the truth, I rarely hear from the enemy in this manner. Once his tricks were exposed, he did exactly what the Apostle Paul wrote that he would do. I resisted him and he fled from me.
So if you are constantly hearing things or receiving visions and you believe it’s the Lord, you need to check yourself by trying the spirits. The devil was talking to me just about every day, and every day I thought it was God. His pattern was to reveal 3 things about my future. When two things came to pass, I was duped into thinking the third and most important thing would transpire, BUT IT did not.
So what kind of blessing is that? To be mocked is NOT A BLESSING.
So be bold and sincere enough to ask a deceived churchgoer this question. “Are you being mocked as you sit there on that pew? ? Is the devil using sickness, disease, depression, substance abuse, pornography, to mock you?”
Well if he can mock you this way, without you figuring out the deception, and if you’ve been over to that church all this time, and you STILL don’t see it, then perhaps you ain’t saved either, and God is not there.”
What stirred your own intellect that caused YOU to receive the truth and become undeceived?

One of the main purposes of the book “the Church of the End-time Zombies: A Guide To Religious Detox” is to prepare YOU to stand alone as the author did for 8 of the 11 years she has been out of organized religion.
