To be irrecoverable is to be in such a state, that no human being will be successful at setting you free.
When demons get their prey to take THEIR side and actually fight FOR them in order to keep THEIR hold, even after the person has found out his or her true condition, and honestly desires deliverance; one of the greatest hindrances being the effect of an assumed position concerning spiritual experiences, which believers are loft to examine and part with. —Jessie Penn-Lewis.

In the book War on the Saints, Jessie Penn-Lewis makes a strong, powerful bold statement in one sentence. Evil spirits attack a person BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY IN POSSESSION!
According to this statement, if you are being attacked today, demons have possessed some ground in you. Casting demons out is a solution, but if the captive is still deceived, it will be truth that sets you free.
RESCUE offers freedom in 3 stages: pre-deliverance work by email (2-3 months) , deliverance (one 15 minute phone session where the demons are confronted and cast out, and post deliverance. (1-2 months) by phone. Call today. 518-477-5759

Today I was reading a chapter for my social work class about resilience and
coping, and I came across this quote: researchers “found that
placing a problem in the hands of God or using prayer almost
exclusively as a way of resolving a stressful situation was not a
particularly effective way of coping and suggested an external
locus of control. The more active the coping approach, the better
subjects in their study were able to cope.”
I thought this was really interesting! I think this goes along with the notion of
passivity and losing your common sense; I think some people do not
try to solve their problems, but rather place them “in the hands of
God” without using common sense to try to make their situation
better. This kind of reminds me of Amy’s post about common sense,
and how in a break-in situation, prayer was used instead of calling
the police.
This also reminds me of what Jessie Penn-Lewis said in
War on the Saints about passivity being the chief basis of
possession, that passivity is “the primary cause of deception and
possession in surrendered believers.” It’s interesting that
research shows too that being passive about problems in your life
and handing them over to “God” isn’t very effective. I think with
certain things like salvation, it is completely up to God and we
can’t do anything to be saved. But I think also with everyday
problems, it’s silly to leave it to God without taking action for
yourself.
Charismatics think that going into passivity by doing
what they see as “giving it over to God” will be the answer, when
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE ENEMY WANTS!!! And instead of using the
common sense that God gave them to make sensible decisions, people
are sitting around waiting for some supernatural sign…a lot of
times the answer aint all that magical. It’s just pure, good
old-fashioned, common sense!
Yet another way Charismatics promote passivity is to teach you that
if you’re not doing the right stuff in the spirit realm, that no matter how
hard you try, you will just be walking in the wilderness like the Hebrews,
in addition to what you said about the trusting in God thing, since they’re
so big on “faith.” I remember at my old church – now a lot of the people
there were of low-income, and many of them had to work more than
one job (including me sometimes).
Since the pastor was so big on prosperity, he did a sermon
talking about people with two jobs, saying it wasn’t God’s way
for them to do that, if they were doing the right stuff like “sowing seed”
and all that, they wouldn’t have to work two jobs. Perhaps his real motive
had to do with the fact people were missing church because of working so much.
But, looking back, I can see how the people working two jobs if they had to were
doing the right thing, if that was what their situation called for.
But him preaching things like that would discourage people from
being proactive, because you can’t get motivated to push that hard
if, in the back of your mind, you feel like it won’t work and it
will all be for nothing.
The Bottomline is that People get involved in church and throw all common sense out of the window! Religious rules and traditions are the cause of it. You get so used to following rules and traditions, thinking you are following God, that you become conditioned to doing things out of habit, for no good reason, lacking good common sense! I used to wonder why we did some of the religious practices we did. I was just blindly doing things because I thought they were the right things to do…nevermind anything about being based on truth, being moved by the power of the cross…NOPE, it was nothing like that…I just wanted to go to heaven, so I gave the church/religion power to control my mind & let me THINK that obeying all those religious rules, and doing all those religious works was getting me into heaven. NOPE, It doesn’t work that way! You cannot earn your way into heaven. No amount of religious works will earn you a ticket. AND THAT’S THE TRUTH, RUTH!
True dat! Now here is the down to earth cold skinny on this subject. The powers of darkness would make man a machine, a tool, an automaton, the God of holiness and love desires to make him a free, intelligent sovereign being in his own sphere —a thinking
rational creature created after His own image (Ephesians 4.24)
Therefore God never says to any faculty of man ” Be thou Idle” God asks for intelligent action in co-operation with
Him!!! (Roman 12:1-2) Satan demands passivity as a
conditon for his compulsory action and in order to unilaterally
subject men to his will and purpose.. (War on the Saints) God wants
us to be intelligent and to use common sense ..wow.. This is a big
change from the teachings in the IC, where you are
suppose to go along with the go along in order to get along.. I guess that is why I was kicked out because I
refused to be passive.

A pedophile will usually exhibit a series of personality characteristics that are common in this type of offender. It is important to understand that these characteristics alone do not conclusively determine that a person is a pedophile. But if these indicators, combined with a pattern of behavior that arouses suspicion, are present then there may be enough probable cause to believe that the person is a pedophile.
He carries on what can be termed “a special relationship” with a wife. Often pedophiles have failed marriages due to their sexual interests but remain in the marriage to mask their true intentions. Sadly, the wife sometimes knows about her husband’s preference, but prefers to keep quiet to avoid social stigma and disgrace.
He displays a fascination or unusual interest in children. If an adult has an inordinate amount of interest in pre-pubescent children, it doesn’t confirm he is a pedophile, but it should at least arouse suspicion.
He makes frequent references to children in exalted or exaggerated terms such as “pure,” “innocent,” “God sent,” “blissful” and other descriptive labels that seem inappropriate and excessive. Remember that a pedophile cannot help the way he behaves and therefore will inadvertently reveal aspects about himself during speech.
He has hobbies or interests that commonly belong in the realm of a child’s world such as toy collecting, building models of cars or planes. His home or room is decorated in a child’s theme. And often, that theme will reflect the age bracket of his preferred victim.
He is over 30 years of age, single and has few or no friends his own age. He may also have frequent and unexplained changes of residence. He may be unable or unwilling to discuss why he lost his last job. He may have a military discharge that he cannot explain and a past that he can not easily talk about.
He has systematic and prolonged access to children. Pedophiles, because of the wide age disparity between themselves and their victims, cannot just hang around children. The pedophile has to find a way to legitimize his contact with kids. He usually accomplishes this by obtaining employment in a field where he is forced to deal with children on a daily basis. Jobs like schoolteachers, bus drivers, camp counselors, photographers and sports coaching(14) serve their needs perfectly. They will always volunteer for activities in which they are left alone with children with no parental supervision (Lanning, p. 19).
I suspect that pedophiles find the IC a haven to stalk their prey under the cover of “children’s ministry.”

Lately, the subject has been touched upon regarding the process of becoming undeceived. It has become evident over time that BOTH the Holy Spirit and the devil have been undeceiving folk. Yet there is a difference.
God’s motives are pure and they are simple. In spite of being saved, I was deceived for 25 years, believing that what was of the enemy emanated from God. What is my fruit? Well, I rarely hear from the religious demon who is assigned to me when I used to hear from him at least once a day.It is like he said “oops! I got caught and Pam is wise to me now!!! I better chill!”
Also, for about five years, I was in a whirlwind of revelation, writing one book after the other. Everything important became clear. I finally found myself satisfied, peaceful and content. Just chillin.
Those like Kellie, Wendy, Tee, Danielle, who had false conversions, God saved without much fanfare. I bet they can look at their lives and see the fruit, without a doubt.
I got a revelation this week that I really did not think about before. Here it is.
If God is undeceiving you, you will see the fruit. He only undeceives the unsaved for one reason. TO CAUSE THEM TO BE BORN AGAIN.
If the enemy has undeceived you, then you have been TOSSED about to and fro, filled with confusion still.
So I ask, WHO HAS BEEN UNDECEIVING YOU? The Lord or the devil?
This is an example of an altar call at the Brownsville Revival services in Pensacola, FL. Every night, Charity would sing the same song for the altar call, “Mercy Seat.” It was a very emotionally moving song, dramatic kind of, & I think it influenced people emotionally. It created this sense of urgency, of danger or something. It didn’t matter how many times you’d said the “sinner’s prayer,” how long you’d been in church, if you were an “intercessor,” & did nothing but pray and read the Bible all day, you would feel this fear, that you weren’t right with God & in danger of hell. So you’d go down to the front. It was like pulling teeth, b/c you really didn’t feel like going through the emotionally draining experience, walking out in front of everyone, plus you’d done it every night that week.
The altar call was sort of ambiguous. The call to “accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior” was clearly spelled out, but the altar call was also open to anyone who needed to “get right with God,” “get back in fellowship,” who had “backslidden.” B/c it was so undefined, you had no concrete way to judge if you needed to go or not, so it was better to just go to err on the side of caution. The vast majority of the audience would end up going down, most people did every night. My friend, Laurie, who was the most religious person i knew, she said, “Even if i know I’m in fellowship and in right standing with the Lord, Steve Hill’s altar calls are so convicting that you will still feel like you have to go.” She would go even if she didn’t feel the need for that, b/c if you did, you could stand in the prayer line, & that meant when you got to the front of the line, one of the ministers would touch your forehead so you could fall out (at this place, they were NOT pushing you down, the force was so strong, sometimes it would hit you before their hand could get to your forehead).
most people LOVED to go to the services. People came from all over the world, literally. my friend Linda loved it & always wanted to stay in pensacola another day. The thing I was too afraid to admit to myself was that deep down, I hated it. I didn’t like the feeling I felt in the air, it felt like fear to me. Like the whole thing was fear-driven. Christina mentioned before in a post or comment about how when she got the “Holy Spirit” it felt kind of “creepy,” but she tried to make herself not feel that way, & looking back, that’s exactly how I felt there. I secretly dreaded it, but felt guilty about dreading it. And I always had these big expectations that THIS time, the “touch” would “take,” and I’d actually start “walking in victory” in my life, but it never happened. But I blamed myself, not the presence there, so I just felt worse and worse over the years.
This is another example of what I’ve been mentioning about the altar calls in some types of Charismatic services. They use fear, make you feel like if you don’t go down, you’re denying Christ or something.
In ’97 the Brownsville Revival came to the Civic Center in Birmingham, Alabama. After the service, the “ministering” would start, meaning everybody got in the prayer lines so they could get hands laid on them and fall out. That was the whole point of GOING. Of course, the line of people wanting to get prayed over by Steve Hill, the evangelist, was the longest. His line was specifically for people who needed healing. Well, it was more like a mob than a line. You just had to kind of press through and hope you got to him. It was like, his prayer or “impartation” would work better than that of the other ministers b/c he was so “anointed.” If he prayed for you, you had to get healed, right?
When I managed to get up to him, he asked me what I needed healing for. I told him I had severe depression and suicidal thoughts a lot. This was before I’d been diagnosed as bipolar. I thought he’d say something like, “In the name of Jesus be healed,” but instead he said something to the effect that my problems weren’t that bad, repeated the story he’d said a million times in his messages about how his mom had been raped, and he was a product of that, but that she never felt sorry for herself, etc., etc. He basically just acted like I was being a crybaby for no reason, & told me I didn’t have any real problems, despite not knowing me, or knowing anything about the organic state of my brain. The way he came at me with it, I just felt he was being kind of condescending, like sort of scolding me, like you would a spoiled brat who complains about something minor. He didn’t even say be healed, when he was done talking, he just put his hand on my head so i could fall out and moved on.
I kind of resented it. I felt judged and embarrassed. If I had needed healing for something like diabetes, an organic disorder, he’d have said “be healed,” but despite the fact that bipolarity is ALSO an organic disorder similar to epilepsy, this man who knew nothing about me just sized me up within the first 10 seconds of meeting me and just told me my problem didn’t exist, like i had a character weakness. Looking back, I’m like, “For all he knew, I could have just gotten out of the hospital from being gang-raped and beaten half-to-death. Just what was he picturing, not knowing me from Adam’s housecat?”
yeah…. he is an a**hole. Glad to be out of that cult.
The people that call me often are looking for me to set them free with one phone call. Their approach to their own freedom is , Look a here. I am in torment. what can YOU do to deliver me and whatever that is, do it right now. They don’t want to face that they gave the enemy ground to attack and torment them and so in order to obtain freedom, THEY have to take that ground back.
The process is this:
1. Is it possible for ME to be deceived by a religious demon assigned to me.
We all have been lulled into a semi- or fully-delusional state where we are drugged into believing something we know deep down inside ‘just isn’t right.’ We just went to church and went along with the programs to get along. We didn’t want to rock the boat, so to speak, out of fear that we would be labeled ‘rebellious,’ ‘unfaithful,’ ‘unteachable,’ or a host of other names leadership likes to place on thinking people who were blessed with common sense AND wisdom to know game when they see it.
When I was a faithful pastor in the IC, I had several memorable dreams that showed me the spiritual condition of the entire IC but I misinterpreted them. I thought the dreams were pertaining to the actual church I saw, when a particular church was only intended to be representative.
The pulpit and altar area was defiled with menstral blood, feces and urine. I would dream about toilets overflowing in the sanctuary. I did not understand those dreams until after I left the IC.
I now know that the defilement represented the plagues. For in the natural, plagues have broken out because of infectious, unclean conditions like rats and such. The unclean natural condition of a house will cause it to be condemned, boarded up.A haunted house is filled with the demons that once inhabited the dead who lived in that house.
I call the IC a haunted house because it is filled with evil spirits who have taken over, because of the plagues. Jesus called the religious folk of his day, white washed tombs on the outside, contaminated with dead men’s bones on the inside. This is the IC today. It is a huge whitewashed tomb. A haunted house.
Don’t let the white washed physicality, Her stained glass beauty fool you. The spirit realm is invisible to our eyes but it still exists. in the spirit realm, every pulpit is covered in unclean blood, urine and feces.

I was in a discussion group when a young lady posted this picture of an email she received from Master Prophet E. Bernard Jordan. As you read it, it talks about how you can, basically, get a special prophecy for the low, low price of $1200. As you read this, you may find that you, yourself have been a recipient of an email like this or even postal mail from this man.
This person, in my opinion, is one of the lowest forms of life ever to walk on the face of this earth. This is a predator! This is the kind of person that preys on the desires of people with promises of going to God on their behalf after tending to him first. This is all a part of the prosperity gospel. 1st Kings 17:10-16 speaks of an incident that happened when the prophet Elijah came across a woman with nothing. Her situation was so bad that she just had enough for her and her son to eat and afterward she looked forward to death. Elijah instructed her to give to him first and she and her son would live. She did, and they did live. This is just one of the scriptures prosperity preachers use to make the case for giving to the preacher all you have, your last dime in exchange for God to do something for you on the behalf of the preacher.
As I was writing this blog, I came across another message from I. V. Hilliard. He has a need of a $52 “seed” to improve on his helicopter. Another example of the prosperity gospel gone crazy. In 1987, Oral Roberts went on television and announced that he needed $8 million within two months or God would “call him home”. Many people believed that he was considering suicide and ended up receiving $9 million. In this case, the desire of the people was to have their pastor alive and well.
This blog isn’t about E. Bernard Jordan, I. V. Hilliard, Oral Roberts or any of the televangelist you see on television. It’s about the sharks that roam the pulpits on any and every given Sunday. I can hear some of you reading this saying right now, “that’s not my pastor”. But if your pastor is asking for a tithe, it’s your pastor, too! If you want to know more about why tithing is “illegal” for the church, send me a message to my Facebook inbox by clicking here.
The reason this is happening is because:
1) People are looking for their desires to be met from the mouth of the prophet/psychic instead of delighting themselves in The Lord (Psalms 37:4).
2) No one is challenging these false preachers and false prophets because no one knows the word for themselves. The pastor teaches you that you cannot rebuke and elder (Timothy 5:1). But what they don’t teach you is that this scripture refers to an elder by age, not by title or office. Timothy was a pastor, so, why would Paul tell him that he cannot rebuke someone under him??
No, I don’t know everything. But, I know what I know. People, wake up!! What you have called God is not God at all. Study the word for yourself and don’t be afraid to ask your pastor about any inconsistencies you may come across.
Of course, you are not such wiseacres as to think or say that you can expound Scripture without assistance from the works of divines (theologians) and learned men who have laboured before you in the field of exposition. – Charles H. Spurgeon
I was going to save this for a later post, however because of a conversation I recently participated in, I believe now is a good time. 1st Corinthians 13:1 says this:
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
Was Paul teaching that there was a language that was spoken only by the angels of God? A Heavenly prayer language? Was he teaching that this is how to effectively communicate with God? Of course not!
Most people, when they study the bible, they study it without the use of any other books. I have yet to meet a lawyer or a paralegal that studies for a case from just one law book. But when Christians, especially Pentecostals and Charismatics study the bible, only one book is used. And we can thank Mr. Charles Fox Parham for that. When he started his Bethel Bible College in Topeka, Kansas in 1900, the only textbook used was the bible. This was a gateway for Satan to enter in with many false teachings such as receiving the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
The first English translated bible was done by John Wycliffe in 1384. This was handwritten. William Tyndale completed the New Testament in English in 1526 making it the first copies from a printing press. 1611 was the birth of the King James Version. Not too long after, commentaries began to pop up from people like Matthew Henry (died 1714), The commentaries of Robert Jamieson, A.R. Fausset & David Brown, originally published in 1871, John Gill (23 November 1697 – 14 October 1771), and other published works like The People’s New Testament (1891). These were here to help guide people long before the doctrines of Pentecostalism. Let’s take a look at how some of these may have helped.
Matthew Henry’s Commentary on the Whole Bible: Could a man speak all the languages on earth, and that with the greatest propriety, elegance, and fluency, could he talk like an angel, and yet be without charity, it would be all empty noise, mere unharmonious and useless sound, that would neither profit nor delight. It is not talking freely, nor finely, nor learnedly, of the things of God, that will save ourselves, or profit others, if we are destitute of holy love. It is the charitable heart, not the voluble tongue, that is acceptable with God. The apostle specifies first this gift because hereupon the Corinthians seemed chiefly to value themselves and despise their brethren.
Albert Barnes (December 1, 1798 – December 24, 1870) from Albert Barnes’ Notes on the Bible:
The language of angels; such as they speak. Were I endowed with the faculty of eloquence and persuasion which we attribute to them; and the power of speaking to any of the human family with the power which they have. The language of angels here seems to be used to denote the highest power of using language, or of the most elevated faculty of eloquence and speech. It is evidently derived from the idea that the angels are superior in all respects to human beings; that they must have endowments in advance of all which man can have.
John Gill:
and of angels; not that angels have tongues in a proper sense, or speak any vocal language, in an audible voice, with articulate sounds; for they are spirits immaterial and incorporeal; though they have an intellectual speech, by which they celebrate the perfections and praises of God, and can discourse with one another, and communicate their minds to each other; see Isaiah 6:3 and which is what the Jews {q} call, “blh rwbyd, “the speech of the heart”; and is the speech (they say) שהמלאכים מדברים, “which the angels speak” in their heart; and is the “pure language”, and more excellent than other tongues; is pleasant discourse, the secret of the holy seraphim–and is שיח המלאכים, “the talk of angels”; who do the will of their Creator in their hearts, and in their thoughts:” this is not what the apostle refers to; but rather the speech of angels, when they have assumed human bodies, and have in them spoke with an audible voice, in articulate sounds; of which we have many instances, both in the Old Testament and the New, wherein they have conversed with divers persons, as Hagar, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Manoah and his wife, the Virgin Mary, Zechariah, and others; unless by the tongues of angels should be meant the most eloquent speech, and most excellent of languages; or if there can be thought to be any tongue that exceeds that of men, which, if angels spoke, they would make use of. Just as the face of angels is used, to express the greatest glory and beauty of the face, or countenance, Acts 6:15, and angels’ bread is used for the most excellent food, Ps 78:25.
This is but a few but I believe it gives a general consensus to what is believed the apostle is talking about. These theologians believed that he was referring to speaking eloquently and fluently. They talk about how this is about being able to speak in the highest form of gracefulness.
Now, the word “though” is translated from the Greek word Ean which is a compound word that means what if. Therefore it can be concluded that Paul was not giving us an impression of possession (though I speak), but rather he was giving a supposition (what if I speak). Many have believed that he was referring to something that he witnessed while caught up in the third heaven. This is not possible. To say this would be sin on his part. He wasn’t permitted to say what he saw. So, to say that Paul was giving any type of testimony of the existence of a speech of angels or that he was capable of speaking this language is unbiblical.
He that speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself; but he that prophesies edifies the church.
Once again, Paul is not instructing to use tongues to edify, or build yourself, but he is giving a sharp rebuke. Remember, we read in 1st Corinthians 12:7 that spiritual gifts aren’t for private use. This is a comment from Adam Clark’s Commentary on the Whole Bible:
The apostle’s meaning seems to be this: Whatever gifts God has bestowed, or in what various ways soever the Spirit of God may have manifested himself, it is all for the common benefit of the Church. God has given no gift to any man for his own private advantage, or exclusive profit. He has it for the benefit of others as well as for his own salvation.
Matthew Henry’s Commentary on the Whole Bible says:
The Spirit was manifested by the exercise of these gifts; his influence and interest appeared in them. But they were not distributed for the mere honour and advantage of those who had them, but for the benefit of the church, to edify the body, and spread and advance the gospel. Note, Whatever gifts God confers on any man, he confers them that he may do good with them, whether they be common or spiritual. The outward gifts of his bounty are to be improved for his glory, and employed in doing good to others. No man has them merely for himself.
And just so I can drive this point home, The People’s New Testament says this:
7-11. But the manifestation of the Spirit, etc. However varied these manifestations, all are for the profit of the whole body. No gift of the Spirit is for the benefit of the recipient. This is now shown.
So, if the gifts are not to be used for private advantage, then what does Paul mean when he says that speaking in a tongue edifies a person? I have known some ministers as I came up in ministry that would have a revelation. They would go on and on about having this revelation. When you ask them what it is, they would not reveal the revelation. They would tell us that they studied a long time, fasted and prayed for this and wasn’t going to give it up so easily. I found myself doing the same thing one time. It feels good to know something someone else didn’t. I felt like a big man, like I’m smarter than they were. Chapter 3 on 1st Corinthians speaks of the carnality of the church. As far as maturity and growth in the things of God, they acted like kids. Just as I did, and many people before me, they felt big about having spiritual gifts that other people didn’t. Paul said that among them were envying and strife, but the one thing that caused this was the divisions. There were cliques, groups, sets in the church. So, you have tongue speakers, which is the gift that was most showed off, who made themselves bigger and better than everyone else. They were boastful and proud. They “built themselves up” by speaking in tongues.
It amazes me how people that read the bible don’t read the bible. Ok, I know that sounds silly, however, it’s true. 1st Corinthians 14:2-4 talks about tongues and prophecy. Tongues is the ability to speak a different language that you have not previously learned. The gift of prophecy is the ability to interpret and teach the spoken, written and visual word of God. When you look at these passages, in between the ideas of tongues and prophecy is the word “but”. The word “but” is a conjunction that connects two phrases, sentences, or ideas together. It is a comparative conjunction (not this, but that). So, what was it comparing? It was comparing two things. In verse one of chapter 14, we are told to desire gifts, but the one to desire more is prophecy. The scripture then begins to show us the difference between the lesser gift, tongues, and the greater gift, prophecy. But that’s not all. If you take into consideration 1st Corinthians 12:7, we are also looking at a comparison of the improper use of gifts, tongues, versus the proper use of gifts, prophecy.
Now, let’s deal with the scriptures that people commonly misinterpret. 1st Corinthians 14:2 says:
For he that speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not to men, but to God: for no man understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.
Just so that we are clear, I will address these scriptures as if we were referring to tongues as earthly languages. I will talk about why a little later. The first thing that we must understand about this scripture is that is most King James Versions of the bible, the word unknown will be in italics. What does this mean? It means that the word, and any word, written in italics has been added by the King James translators. They added the word because they figured it would make the scripture more fluent. However, some of the bible translations that were translated more recently will not have the word unknown added. This is because it is not found in the original manuscripts. I said all of that to say this, there is no such thing as an unknown tongue. The unknown tongue is what most people are calling they “heavenly language”. I’m going to go into that a little later as well.
Contrary to popular belief, Paul in this scripture was not giving instructions to the people. This is a rebuke, or a correction. So, Paul was not instructing people to use tongues to speak to God. This goes against earlier teachings that spiritual gifts are used the the benefit of all, and not the benefit of the individual recipient of the gift (1st Corinthians 12:7). John Gill’s Exposition of the Entire Bible says this about 1st Corinthians 12:7:
to profit withal; not to make gain of, as Simon Magus intended, could he have been possessed of them; nor to encourage pride or envy, or to form and foment (to promote the growth or development of) divisions and parties; but for profit and advantage, and that not merely private, or a man’s own, but public, the good of the whole community or church, to which the least grace or gift, rightly used, may contribute.
So, for people to use this or any other gift for a private use goes against the purpose in which God has sent the gift to be used. What was taking place at this church was that people that had the gift to speak in other languages was speaking whenever they wanted. They were speaking, for instance if it were today, Spanish when there was no Spanish speaking people around. Or they may have been speaking Russian when no one that speaks the language was with them. Worst of all, since they were unable to translate for themselves, no one understood them, except God Himself. The purpose of the gift was not to speak to God, who doesn’t need a special language for you to communicate with him, but to a man who may need that special language. Ever tried to tell a Japanese cook that you are allergic to an ingredient he’s about to use in your food? Well, try telling someone that doesn’t understand your language that God loves them. It will be just as frustrating.
Have you ever been walking down the street and heard two people talking in another language? Maybe they were looking at you or in your direction and you say to yourself “I wonder what they are saying”. In essence, these people are speaking mysteries, or hidden things, hidden from you. How is that possible? Because you have no clue what they are saying!! These people at the Corinthian church spoke mysteries all the time because no one knew what anyone was saying. Since no one was taught the language, and there was no spirit-filled interpreter among them, they spoke hidden things, hidden from themselves. Paul was all about understanding because if everyone had an understanding, they were learning something. This is why there had to be an interpreter or no tongues can go forth. So, you are not speaking anything super mysterious when speaking in tongues. It was only a mystery because they didn’t understand what they were speaking.
Tongue Talking. I moved to Hickory, North Carolina in 2009. While I was there, I attended a church that my step-father and his neighbor attended. At the beginning of each Sunday service, there was a prayer that was said. In it, there was a supplication, or request, for people to be filled with the Holy Ghost “with the evidence of speaking in tongues”. Every time I heard this I cringed. This is because I know that this was a false teaching, but I had to get proof. This lead into almost three years of research on one subject. This is the longest I have ever researched any one subject.
First and foremost, we must understand that what we call tongue talking today is not the tongue talking that was done in the bible. Acts 2:4-11 teaches that the tongues spoken on the day of Pentecost were all earthly languages. There were many languages spoken that day and maybe even more that we can count. According to Thayer’s Greek Definitions, προσήλυτος (Proselutos) is translated Proselyte and means one who has come over from a Gentile religion to Judaism. So, while we have (and yes, I shall name them all) Men of Parthia, Media, and Elam, and those living in Mesopotamia, in Judaea and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia, In Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and those who have come from Rome, as well as men of Crete and Arabia, we also have people who are not counted as Jews at all and the number of these people and variance of languages could be a staggering amount.
As we move the conversation to Corinth, we se people using their spiritual gifts wrong. Has anyone ever wondered why Paul spoke concerning tongues to the Corinthians and no one else? Remember, back then the letters we are reading today were just that – letters. These were letters addressed to the churches in Paul founded. For example, the Roman church would not have read the Corinthian letters. So why did the Corinthian church receive this conversation in the first letter about tongues? Well, history and geography teaches that Corinth was a shipping port city. If you came by sea on to the continent, you came through Corinth. So, the place was multilingual. Many people spoke different languages there. So, it made sense that the church would have the gift of speaking in divers (many) languages. This was done to convey a message of God’s love to those that spoke in other languages that they may repent.
According to the bible, what is speaking in tongues? It is (I can see the emails and comments coming already) the ability to speak to someone in their native language without having learned the language. I have never learned Chinese but if I spoke to someone in Chinese as God instructed me to do, then I would be speaking in tongues. 1st Corinthians 12:7 says this:
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
This means that all spiritual gifts are used for the common good, for the body of Christ. They are used to help people in the body of Christ. It’s no wonder that when Jesus talked about the signs that will follow them that believe, he did it during the Great Commission. Remember, He said to go and teach ALL nations. How can that be done if you and the nation you are trying to teach have a language barrier? Hence, speaking in other languages.
It is difficult for churchgoers to believe that the Holy Spirit has left the entire institutional church. Churchgoers will readily admit that some churches are defiled, but they will adamantly contend that “good churches” still exist in the land. So to present a rational argument to the contrary, we need to go back in history and examine the influence of one particular group on the entire organized church system: Freemasons.
Although freemasons claim not to be a religion, the Freemasons are one of the most secretive and controversial religious groups in the world. In a way, it is a universal religion in that potential members must believe in a higher power. Like 12 Steps, the masonic lodges claim not to care what higher power that is, but you must define it for yourself. However, besides the secret handshakes and numerous other rituals, the deeper you go into their trenches, the one freemasons all seem to be worshipping is Lucifer.
In his article entitled “Freemasonry and the Christian Church,” Russ Wise seriously sums up the dilemma for a churchgoer:
The central question that every Christian Mason must ask himself is “Who is Jesus Christ according to the Lodge?” Freemasonry’s founder Albert Pike was greatly influenced by the occult. In fact, Pike was responsible for the rewriting of the rituals for all the degree work beyond that of Master Mason.
Because of Pike’s influence, Freemasonry has adopted an universalist approach toward divinity. According to Jim Shaw, a 33rd degree Mason who left the Lodge, Masonry teaches that “Jesus was just a man. He was one of the exemplars,’ one of the great men of the past, but not divine and certainly not the only means of redemption of lost mankind. He was on a level with other great men of the past like Aristotle, Plato, Pythagoras and Mohammed. His life and legend were no different from that of Krishna, the Hindu god. He is the son of Joseph,’ not the Son of God.”(18)
Jesus Christ is not to be looked upon as God incarnate, or as the Savior of humanity, but He is to be considered as no different from any other great spiritual leader or guru. To follow through with this conclusion, the Lodge does not permit the name of Jesus or Christ to be used in any of its prayers or rituals.
So clearly, to be a Christian Mason, you must blaspheme God by practicing idolatry.
Consider this. A little over two centuries ago, the first two African-American Churches, the AME and the AME Zion churches were founded by men who were also the first members of the Prince Hall Lodge. The female counterpart known as the Eastern Stars came later in 1850. Even more revealing is that every Black denomination whether it be Baptist or Pentecostal, is a branch from the first two black Methodist churches. Therefore, like yeast, the freemasonry influence spread to every other black church or affiliation.
So let us examine this issue with the simplicity of the Lord’s logic. as a little leaven spoils the entire loaf, the Saviour taught that if you want to know the nature of a tree, examine its roots. A good tree does not bring forth evil fruit. An evil tree does not bring forth good fruit. Simple. Moreover, look at the foundation. If its origins are not built on the solid Rock which is Jesus Christ Himself. then its foundation has been laid on sand. The fruit of a sandy foundation is wood, hay and stubble.
As a further consequence, all who add to or detract from the gospel of Jesus Christ are cursed according to Paul’s warning to the Galatian believers. The freemasonry influence in the black church is pervasive because the founding fathers of both Prince Hall and the African-American Church are one and the same folk. Simply put, the African-American Church is cursed because of Paul’s admonition to the Galatian believers:
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel– which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned! (Galatians 1:8-9)
Masonic Christians, both blacks and whites, have made a treaty with Pagans who worship other god’s, namely the Hindus, the Moslems, the Buddhists and those of all other false religions. They gather around a strange altar, the altar of Freemasonry, and worship a god named the Great Architect of the Universe (GAOTU).
Since the GAOTU is a fallen angel, the Christian Mason of the Prince Hall Lodges have been assembling around a strange altar, worshipping a false god for more than 200 hundred years!!!
So you tell me.
as one small, but significant example, I was once a pastor of a black church. I refused to allow the masonic members of my congregation–who were trustees and other church leaders— to hold their masonic ceremonies in the church under my pastoral authority. they reported me to the bishop who is the one who gave me the appointment.
The bishop is a Prince Hall masonic lodge member. Need I tell you who won that battle? this occurred in 1994. This particular bishop not only removed me from that charge, but in 10 years as a bishop in my region, he never gave me another appointment. In 1996, I started a storefront church that this bishop ignored for the next 8 years.
In fact, this particular bishop’s last official act in June 2004 at the western new york conference was to remove my name from the church rolls in spite of the fact that I had 25 years of ministerial service in good standing!
without a doubt, the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge rules the entire black church. All churches under its rule have become a dwelling place of demons.
Just as the spirit of the Anti-Christ has permeated the entire institutional church, it should not be surprising that the enemy of our souls has his hand in the out-of-church movement as well. His goal? To discredit the movement at the ground level. Since I have been a part of the “leave the church scene” for the last 8 years, I have met all kinds of folk, each with a different motive–a different agenda. Yet behind the personalities, the persuasions and the strategies, the enemy is in the midst to bring a stumblingblock against God’s true endtime movement to replace the Harlot.
Churchgoers are varied and diversified, with complex and hidden motives and desires. Out-of-churchers are no less complex. To identify but a few strategies, the out-of-church movement is plagued by the damaged and the deceived. Here are but a few of the enemy’s strategies as they relate to the Harlot, the institutional church:
1. Satan has recruits who have been spiritually raped by the Harlot—former churchgoers who are ruled by an unconscious hatred of Her. Consequently, on a subconscious level, every video they make, every blog they write is compelled by that hatred in a very obsessive fashion. In truth, they are outraged that the church not only abused them but also rejected them like a drunken patron is kicked to the curb and thrown out of “the club.’ There every action breathes “I am gettin even with that whore.”
When you have been stabbed in the heart by people who profess to “be Christian,” it certainly is a hard pill to swallow and Satan knows it. So he is actually the one who staged the abuse and the rejection so that once “out of-church,” Satan can then use their retaliatory attack against the institutional church as a visible indictment od the entire out-of-church movement. As an example, a growing number of damaged ex-churchgoers have YouTube channels and blogs whose sole purpose is to criticize and destroy the Harlot. Yet the enemy ignites their venom toward the goal of making THEM look like merciless and disobedient rebels, in an attempt to do the reverse—discredit the entire out-of-church movement.
2. Satan also has also groomed a new breed of come-out-the church folk who seem to have left the institution because they got tired of following man and desire to wholeheartedly follow God, a noble reason indeed. They speak of intimacy with God, hunger for Jesus and they have left the comfort of stain glass and pews because of an overwhelming love for the Lord and a desire to be led by Him alone. They desire to tear down the Harlot’s walls and to go deeper into a fellowship of closeness with Jesus.
It all sound good.
Yet when you dig deeper and really get to know these folk, all kinds of hidden motives surface. Some are secretly ambitious yet they feign piety. Elitists and separatists are also among them . Yet the worst of it is that many of them have experienced false conversions and they are actually worshipping the fake Jesus Sananda Immanuel. The more they distance themselves from others, the more they teach when they need to be taught, the more they resist any kind of spiritual authority—-the more extreme they become,—- the more they also discredit the out-of-church movement.
There are several other strategies.
However what unites each strategy together to fulfill Satan’s agenda is that they ALL become “religiously non-religious.” In other words, they too become the thing that they are against. They become “religious.” So appalled at anything that even looks like the Harlot, they are against all order, all leadership, all gathering together, all worship—in other word’s they become anti-everything that even remotely reminds them of the IC. As a result , they turn the out-of-church movement into just another sect, pleasing the father of all religion and all sects, Satan himself.
My situation is unique in that as an ordained minister for 25 years, I could not perceive how I could even function in my calling outside of church walls. In fact, when the Lord led me out, He did not provide me with details. He simply said “Pam, If you stay, I cannot use you here. But let them PUT you out.” Nine months later, what I assumed was an impossibility happened. The Harlot PUT me out.
I stayed in my wilderness for the next 7 years. I waited for three years to be sent to another branch of the IC. It never dawned on me that I would not return to a sect or branch of what I had become familiar with, and loved, by the way. Instead, He spoke in 2007 and with these words. ” I am not there. She is like a condemned building. I have judged Her already.” I waited for 4 more years for Him to provide me with a plan and to answer the question, “where do I send folk who come out, and they are seriously damaged?”
In April 2012, I received the plan, Shortly thereafter, the laborers. The faithful five!!!
RESCUE, our online out-of-church ministry is up and running well. If you need us, call 518-477-5759
This is Joy Mifflin. She was a popular ‘evangelist’ who passed on yesterday of cancer.
This video was taken in 2010.
Mifflin had just tweeted at the beginning of October encouraging many to tune into the 2012 Presidential Debates, and sending her love to her ‘pastor,’ Pastor Sheryl Brady from the Jakes Affiliation.
A little over a month later, Joy was on life support/respirator, and taken off…only to die on November 9. She was 33 years old.
She lost a 7 year battle to breast cancer.
Sobering.
Prayer requests were petitioned on her behalf as she lay on life support the day before she passed, asking God to heal and restore her.
This reminds me of another story of a young woman who received ‘prayer’ for healing and died soon thereafter…the late wife of gospel artist Marvin Sapp, Dr. MaLinda Sapp.
After her husband requested around-the-clock prayer for his wife, who was battling colon cancer, she succumbed in September 2010 to the debilitating disease.
A few weeks before in August 2010, Marvin Sapp had requested prayer for MaLinda, who was diagnosed with colon cancer the year before but was declared ‘cancer-free’ by doctors earlier that year. Apparently, the cancer had come back.
MaLinda died at 45 years old.
Dontavies Boatwright was a finalist on the popular gospel contest show, Sunday’s Best. He went on to record an album, become a radio announcer, and preached at several venues. He died of a heart attack yesterday as well, at the age of 33.
(I want yall to notice that he was an avid tongue speaker in the above video)
And probably the most well-known of these is the late David Wilkerson. One of the TRUE endtime prophets of this age.
In April 2011, David Wilkerson and his wife Gwen were involved in a car accident that claimed David’s life first.
Gwen would die a little over a year later in July of this year, presumably from grief and injuries she sustained in the car crash with a tractor trailer that claimed the life of her beloved husband of 58 years. She was 81….he was 79.
David Wilkerson was the pastor of Times Square Church, the founder of Teen Challenge Ministry and author of ‘The Cross and The Switchblade.’
Another gospel couple who died in like manner as the Wilkersons are the Wrights, the late gospel artist Timothy Wright and his wife Betty and his 14 year old grandson, D.J.
The family was driving home when they were hit head on by a drunk driver. The crash killed Betty, 58, and D.J. instantly.
Timothy Wright died of his injuries (and probably grief) almost a year later in 2009. He was 61 years old.
(I was particularly fond of Wright’s music, and was saddened to hear of his untimely death and that of his family….)
Rev. Timothy Wright and wife Betty
D.J. Wright, Grandson
I can go on and on….we hear stories of premature death (in the church setting) ALL the time.
No one bothers to say anything about it and automatically conclude that ALL PREMATURE death(s) in the church are the will of God. We religiously say that it is God’s business who He ‘decides to take home’ and when.
And while I can wholeheartedly agree that only God knows when our time is up, NO ONE can make me believe that EVERY death is God’s will.
There is something going on here!
I want to share something with you that my mentor, Pamela Sheppard, made me realize.
The religious demon LOVES to mock those who are within its ‘jurisdiction,’ if you will.
The religious demon loves to cause ‘accidents,’ diseases, and the such that will take out REAL believers.
There are some things that are NOT supposed to happen. Like that guy in Creflo’s church who was praying at the altar and was gunned down!
How can ANYONE make that right? How can anyone explain that away, saying it was the ‘will of God’ for this man to be shot to death…WHILE HE WAS PRAYING? TO OUR GOD????
That makes absolutely NO sense to me!
Gregory McDowell
39 year old McDowell took 5 bullets while praying to God….while sitting in a church! He was in the production department and in maintenance at famous megachurch World Changers International of College Park, GA, pastored by Creflo Dollar. The shooter was a former maintenance worker of WCCI. There is still no motive for the shooting at this time.
Does anyone else here see a trend?
It seems to me that premature death is fast becoming yet another plague that is plaguing the organized church, just like premature death took the firstborn in Egypt after GOD released the 10 plagues as judgment against Pharaoh and the Egyptians’ disobedience.
I also want to make it known that most of these people were tongue talkers!
We have written before on how the enemy uses tongues to release curses upon themselves and the ones they love…without even realizing it!
All those prayer requests requesting prayer, from TONGUE TALKERS?
Let me share something with you: I am not of the crew that speaks ill of people who don’t know any better. And having come out of that crowd of pentecostals/charismatics, I understand ALL TOO WELL the error they operate in. I understand the love affair and deception that is latent in the doctrines of speaking in tongues. I understand how people can hold on to that doctrine for dear life, even when it hasn’t produced any (lasting) fruit, and caused illness, calamity, sickness and in some cases, even premature death!
But it will take the Spirit of the Living God to reveal this to many.
I won’t say you should come out of the church. You need to hear that from GOD for yourself.
But I will say this much:
Recognize what is going on around you and do NOT ignore those tiny urgings from the Spirit of God when HE warns you about things, or people, or groups, or churches, or affiliations. If GOD tells you to hold off on the tongues, DO IT!
In THIS season, it can literally be a matter of life, or death.

If you believe you have heard ‘THE CALL’ to COME OUT, then give US a call 518-477-5759.
Since childhood I have experienced all sorts of physical manifestations such as sleep paralysis, stayed lost in thought, and I have seen the paranormal. Later on in my life I began to hear voices and have terrible thoughts. These voices and thoughts suggested that I should harm others.
I was raised as a studying Jehovah’s Witness until I became a young adult. Once I became a young adult I stopped attending the Kingdom Hall because I wanted to sin sexually. Over the years, I have visited a few churches but I never again committed myself to another church or religion for that matter. During this point in my life, I became spiritually disillusioned and I thought that God had forsaken me due to my choices. As the voices and the terrible thoughts progressed, I would pray but the more I prayed the voices and thoughts seem to get worse. One evening I was just casually surfing YouTube and I came across some videos that Pamela Sheppard Ministries had posted about the altered states of consciousness. So I watched a few of Pam’s videos and she sounded like she knew what she was talking about and so I called her. That was the best decision I made.
When I was a child, an adult introduced me to sexual sin and Pam explained to me that sexual sin from childhood and false religion was the door that opened me up to experiencing demonic oppression. She explained to me who God truly is and she also explained to me the essential components of salvation. Pam taught me what condemnation was and how religiosity and the sexual sin caused me to feel intense shame. In a few months, I learned truths that will help me stand against the enemy in victory.
Under Pam’s ministry she has a group called RESCUE. RESCUE FELLOWSHIP has shown me a lot of love and support. RESCUE has helped me get pasT demonic accusation and condemnation and I have learned how to use my willpower to combat the voices and terrible thoughts.
If you are hearing voices or having bad thoughts and you need help, please call Pam at 518-477-5759 or email her at pamsheppard911@yahoo.com. Not only is she an ordained minister for 31 years, she is also a licensed therapist. She is both spiritually and psychologically equipped to help you. Perhaps you repeated a sinner’s prayer or you answered an altar call and ever since you’ve done this your life has gone downhill. Or maybe you’re like I once was—- you may be disillusioned with religion and the present day church but you STILL seek God
I too was raised in a church most of my young life. God began to open my eyes to some of the deception that was going on in my own life and also in the church. It wasn’t until I began searching on the internet that I found Pam Sheppard Ministries and RESCUE FELLOWSHIP. Through deliverance counseling, Pam was able to help me to see how I had picked up many unscriptural doctrines and demons in the church. Deliverance counseling with Pam equipped me to see how the enemy was able to use me to spread religion and not relationship with the real Jesus and how this affected my own relationship with the Lord.
Deliverance counseling with Pam is quite different from deliverance ministry. Breaking strongholds is a process that Pam Sheppard Ministries achieves through RESCUE mentoring, counseling and asking questions. This mentoring is done in a group setting where a person is free to come and ask questions, receive written articles, video teachings and audio messages to help us find out the truth required to expose the false religion that each of us has ingested.
Many people don’t know it, but much of what is being fed to the sheep in these days is false doctrine. Counseling one- on-one with Pam was my path to deeper things once Pam cast a demon of depression from my soul. Well, my self-deception began to gradually fade away by reading Pam’s books. For example, when I read “Faces of the Religious Demon,” I saw my charismatic, religious self. Like most of us, I had my pet spiritual fallacies. I reasoned, “Pam can’t be right about this or about that!’ Then my eyes started to open. Yet, with each un-veiling, I became increasingly “un-deceived,” as my spiritual house came tumbling down like a row of stacked dominoes.
RESCUE has taught me that the Holy Ghost is unable to rebuke us in our spirits because of our self-deception. Consequently, the demons assigned to us begin to toss us about, to and fro. The enemy takes much pleasure in mocking God’s people. I can remember how I found myself mocked in every sphere, from finances to family, from friends to foe, from fallacy to faith, the demons assigned to me had themselves a good ole time! Yet once I swallowed my spiritual pride, I ended up putting the demons on the run!
So I see RESCUE as a place where a person can go and begin the spiritual eye-opening process to become undeceived. When you join RESCUE, what you are saying is, “I am tired of the lies and now I need to know the truth!” In RESCUE, the Holy Spirit will begin to reveal spiritual truths to you both suddenly and gradually in your own special mentoring group.RESCUE GROUPS consist of intimate and rewarding fellowship with a diversified group of like-minded saints from around the country, united at peace and love in Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Personally, RESCUE has been a place that I have been able to come and fellowship with those who have had the same experiences as I have. I feel safe and know that any question that I may have will be answered, truthfully and Biblically. RESCUE has also been a place that helps me to understand what it means to be a real Christian in the days that we live in. If anyone has serious problems in this area then RESCUE is the place for you. Pam can help you just like she helped me and RESCUE is a wonderful alternative to the Institutional Church yet better. It surpasses the IC in terms of equipping the saints because the members are available every day, 24/7— not just gathered in congregations on Wednesday or Sunday for a few hours! You will also form friendships and have guidance throughout your spiritual growth process on a daily basis.
Call Pam at 518-477-5759 and your veil of confusion will be removed as mine was.
I have attended church all my life ever since I can remember. I was raised as Pentecostal and thought that our way was the right way to God…..that is until I grew up. I started questioning many of the things that I was hearing/had heard, things that I was seeing/had seen and the biggest question was am I really saved.
One day after experiencing something in church that I knew was not of God, I was searching the web for information on how to try the spirits when I came across Pam Sheppard’s Ministries. As I began to read her blogs and testimonies and ask myself some of the questions she pointed out about salvation, I knew I had to call her. I have learned so many things and realized that I have many things to unlearn as well. As a result of my calls and counseling with Pam, I became a member of RESCUE so I could continue to be enlightened in these perilous times when the true Gospel is so desperately needed yet obviously overlooked in today’s IC. I feel so blessed to have found RESCUE ministries where I know I’ll get the cold, hard, truth regardless of whether it’s uncomfortable or not. Because of RESCUE, I now know and accept that you must examine your salvation to make sure that a false conversion has not taken place and if you can’t or are not willing to then that probably means that you’re not saved.
I also had this overwhelming fear of endtime circumstances. Every time endtime discussions would take place, I would worry for days on end of how I would survive, especially since I am a quadriplegic and rely on a wheelchair for mobility. I depend on others to help me dress and accomplish many tasks that I know longer can. What will happen to me was all I could think about. As a member of RESCUE I received continued phone counseling where Pam addressed those fears by reminding me that once we are saved we are to walk in the joy of our salvation and how the bible tells us to fear not.
RESCUE has provided me with the support I need to deal with and overcome the hurdles the enemy throws my way. Anytime that I am feeling inadequate, doubtful, or discouraged, I know beyond a shadow of doubt that I can receive the encouragement, the exhortation, the fellowship, and the love from the brethren of those who are in Christ Jesus to strengthen me to continue to press on.
If you are having any questions or doubts about what you are or have experienced in the IC and you know something is not right but you can’t pinpoint what it is, or you’ve felt that you have been called out of church, you have been lied too, used, abused, just plain fed up with churchianity and you are looking for truth, the real truth that can make you free, please call Pam Sheppard at 518-477-5759 or contact her at pamsheppard911@yahoo.com. Your spiritual well-being may very well depend on it.
